Morning all!

Hopefully last week's wobble with the spreadsheet has been overcome:

Here it is

And hope there aren't too many wobbles on the LCHF front either!

It's an absolutely gorgeous day here, and seems like all of this week is going to be glorious. (Well, Darn Sarf it is anyway!)

I hope that you all have a good day food-wise too. Somehow it always seems easier when it's salad/barbecue weather, to stay on the low carb track.

Good look and here's to another successful week Flowers

Evening all! In this heat i normally swell up but I haven’t done that at all in boot camp!

Am drinking loads of fluid and the dioralyte defo helps too. I do think that the weight loss with low carb is different to calories - it seems very front loaded rather than slow and steady. But who cares if the overall loss is there. I’m 21 whole pounds down on what I was when i started. I feel rubbish if I go near sugar even if it’s the only carbs I have that day so I’m avoiding it like poison.

Thanks @Gammeldragz I will enjoy!

After a couple of days where I’ve been so close to diving into a bowl of chips I decided to make one of our favourite dinners. We had lamb kebab with spicy chicken breast and salad and I had loads of spicy mayo and garlic sauce. I suspect I reek of garlic now!

LeapinLizards · 01/07/2018 23:47

@bettyblue, I too would opt to enjoy the food & be moderate. No point sweating it - it would steal away any joy from an otherwise nice holiday.
I'm feeling annoyed at myself for having just eaten far too many nuts. I didn't even feel hungry but it's so hard to stop.
Great NSV on the blood pressure - absolutely brilliant.

That blood pressure comment was to chocchip88

Itchyknees couldn't you swap the dioralyte which contains sugar (glucose) for a zero tablet or similar electrolyte powder? Might be worth looking at.

Hello everyone...I've not been on much (at all?!) this week due to crazy end of term stuff at school and being generally knackered from it all (sports day, open day, reports, Summer Fayre 😩). On Saturday I had a surprise leaving party organised by the TA, parents and children of my class...which has thrown my eating plan RIGHT into the lions den! Bless their hearts, 30 little faces all watching as I 'eagerly' tucked into ham sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls and homemade cupcakes 😩🤷‍♀️

Nothing in the world could have made me tell them, 'sorry, I can't eat any of this!' (Not a salad leaf or babybel in sight 😳). They were SO excited and proud of keeping it all secret from me, after apparently planning this for weeks. I sobbed my heart out...love these little munchkins ♥️

My insides, however, are still not recovered...is this normal? The noises/gurgling are truly exceptional 😳

I'm down a pound, but wouldn't be surprised if Saturday's 'treat' doesn't rear up and bite me on the arse (literally and metaphorically!) next week 😢

BIWI · 02/07/2018 07:42

Aww - that sounds lovely! (The party, not the gurgling Grin)
