Thanks all and thanks @StuntNun

My calculated due date is 11th July, but I'll be have a cervical stitch and planned C Section before then, so sometime in June. I just hope everything is OK this time. The MMC I had earlier this year is not something I want to repeat.

No I don't think the eating every 2-3 hrs was backed up in any way. And to be honest, I haven't eaten since 730 so far today as I just haven't been hungry! I've brought a boiled egg, one of those packs of cheese pieces and some walnuts with me though just in case.

With regards to c50g carbs a day - I haven't paid any attention at all to how many carbs I'm having so far! I'd prefer to just carry on as I am, and not think too much about it but how would you suggest getting the extra carbs without going back to bread for example? Some fruit? And higher carb veggies?

With my first I didn't lose any of the gained weight easily. I went on the Cambridge Diet and lost the 3stone I'd put on plus the stone I'd needed to lose when I conceived! Putting on weight again makes me nervous as I really don't want to have to do something so extreme again. I will if I have to though as I was miserable at 15stone..

HarlotsWeb · 31/10/2017 12:01

Mimosa1 I am not a huge fan of the 99%. I am more a milky girl too. But the benefit is that I really only do eat a square at a time. Sometimes I think half the pleasure is in the ritual of undoing the cardboard and slitting the foil and snapping the segment off...

cherries, I am going to have my nails done. I v rarely do stuff like that, and it fits quite well with the whole ethos of feeling better about how I look and taking better care of myself, so it seems a good thing to do.

creme congratulations!! I have no advice to offer, just a big hug.

StuntNun · 31/10/2017 12:19

Creme to be at around 50g carbs per day I would follow Bootcamp Light rules but not be too worried about hidden carbs in sausages, burgers, gravy etc. and it's okay to have a few carrots or a potato here and there. But as I said before, be guided by how you feel. If you're happy with how you're eating and you feel well then everything is probably fine. If you're lacking in energy or feeling very tired (above and beyond what is normal in pregnancy) then try increasing your carbs to see whether it helps.

TempusEejit · 31/10/2017 12:26

Congratulations Creme!

Lenl · 31/10/2017 12:54

I haven't binge eaten in years now but today I did. I guess it wasn't really a binge but it was emotionally driven 'bad' eating Sad

I'm just so tired, I haven't slept more than 4 hours max at a time for almost three years (often less, apart from two nights away), the last few weeks have been up every 90 mins regularly, and baby had his jabs yesterday so was up with him most of the night as he had a temperature of 38.7 all night and was shivering and sobbing. He cried all morning and my toddler kept getting upset too. Drove to supermarket for more medicine for baby and ended up buying and eating cheesey melt things from the in-store McDonald's and a small pack of chocolate buttons. Total carbs 24g. I can stay within my aim of 50g with the rest of my planned meals (I'm usually under that anyway) but I feel fatter just for doing it.

Haven't weight this week as my period has come back with vengeance this week (first since falling pregnant over a year ago) and I feel bloated and can't face it! Today certainly isn't going to help.

Sorry for the rant. Just feel a bit down back at home with two unhappy kids.

CremeDeSudo · 31/10/2017 13:00

OK I shall KOKO'ing whilst worrying less. Sounds good to me! Smile

Veryflummoxed · 31/10/2017 13:03

Congratulations @CremeDeSudo . As others have said I think stunt is your best source for information.

YoLoNovVitMe · 31/10/2017 13:04

lenl dont beat yourself up about it. You'll only add guilt to the equation and what does that achieve? I have been there with the long term lack of sleep (and put on many stones as a result). It's hard to think about what you are eating when you are just coping with the day. Give yourself 5 mins of me time (if you can) and meditate or just have a quiet cuppa. It's refreshing when you are dog tired.

You can plan for this next time now you are aware you grab the carbs when you are over tired. Never leave the house without babybels or similar. Or take some dark choc with you when you need an instant energy fix.
Flowers

And congrats to cremo!!

wombattoo · 31/10/2017 13:22

Hello all
Sorry for my absence, I have some medical issues at the moment.

Congratulations Creme Thanks

Sayrra Thanks for the thread. Could you please add some more rows to the s/s when you get chance?

I will be back later to comment and update weights.

ilovecherries · 31/10/2017 13:24

Congratulation Creme, how lovely :).

Lenl, it's done, already in the past. Forgive yourself and keep going. It was in the moment the only self care you could offer yourself in the moment, so it's possibly about thinking how you can soothe yourself in the future in more nurturing ways. It was a road bump, that's all.

My self care for the day was a bit brutal. I go to a place run by two Thai ladies (sisters) to have my brows waxed. They are lovely but one of them hasn't long come to the UK and her English is still still limited (although about a billion times better than my Thai!). Anyway she did my brows peered closely at my face and announced 'Bad! Off today!' So now I have a lip and chin like a baby's bum. Never had it done before, hope I don't get bristles. I'm blond-ish so have been happily ignoring my menopausal sproutings.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 31/10/2017 13:25

Congratulations Creme, lovey news and wishing you all the best.

ilovecherries how about a House of Colour analysis, if you haven't done it already?

Three cheers for everyone's bowel movements! Grin

ilovecherries · 31/10/2017 13:28

Great minds, ClearEyes! That was my treat a stone ago when I stopped being obese :).

SoMuchToBits · 31/10/2017 13:45

cherries, was the analysis just for colour, or did it also include style/make-up? If it was just colour, maybe you could go back and have a style or make-up session to add on to that.

What was the result of your colour analysis btw?

Gammeldragz · 31/10/2017 13:49

lizard my nails are definitely stronger.
June well done on your loss
creme congratulations. I'd go for a bit more veg and the odd fruit, but not feel bad about the odd bit of toast if it's all morning sickness will allow.
lenl that could have been worse xx

Breakfast - toasted protein roll, butter, marmite and cheese.
Lunch - Greek yog and cream with cinnamon.
Dinner- cauliflower cheese (possibly with kale/spinach)

Higher carb than usual for me as I had the sick bug and still feeling queasy/delicate. Felt I probably needed a little more.

FinallyHere · 31/10/2017 14:05

Congratulations, Creme, how lovely, another BC baby.

ASDismynormality · 31/10/2017 14:36

Congratulations creme, lovely news Flowers . Good luck with your cervical suture, I had one in 3 of my pregnancies.

JumpingIntoLCHF · 31/10/2017 15:01

Please could someone update the spreadsheet for me to 247? Thanks.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 31/10/2017 15:28

Congratulations @CremeDeSudo. Very exciting news!

I managed to find some scales in the hotel gym yesterday and weighed in 3lbs up. I decided not to log as I was wearing clothes and they weren’t my scales so I thought that it was probably not a helpful fluctuation. I also think period is imminent. I think I will just write this week off and join you all again next week.

ilovecherries · 31/10/2017 15:36

Bits, I had colour and make up. Took my daughter and there was just the two of us. It was actually really disappointing. The consultant actually READ from her script and rushed through it at great speed, deflecting all questions with 'I would cover that on the Style day' Clearly couldn't wait to get rid of us, and although she said I was a summer (didn't see it myself, I thought winter) she didn't tell me what kind, or show us how to use the wallets. The make up lesson was really poor as well. I should have complained but something about being in her home made me very unassertive, plus it wasn't till I heard other people's experiences that I really realised how poor ours was. So basically, all still a bit of a mystery to me! I'm planning to have the style done, as I do see people who it's worked miracles for, but I am not going back to her, and the next nearest is about 60 miles away.

SoMuchToBits · 31/10/2017 15:56

How disappointing, cherries! I had my colours done years ago (I'm a winter and still stick to those colours as they look really good on me), but I had mine done with Color Me Beautiful. Would it be worth seeing if they have anyone in your area? (I don't know which part of the country you live in - apologies if it's somewhere miles from anywhere!)

DrDiva · 31/10/2017 16:42

Congratulations, creme !

And blacktea thank you for the offer re the surgery. Unfortunately it’s not surgery for sinusitis, which was a delightful extra on top of everything else -I am having surgery for something else (probably).

Not the most successful of days today, as timings for eating were way out. Doing better with water though!

ponygirlcarcass · 31/10/2017 16:47

Congratulations to you Creme - you will be needing more of your name now! Grin Lovely news.

I have seen off the small weekend bloat gain already. 😊 Hoping for even lower. Today I sat in the staffroom with a pile of biscuits and chocolates right in front of me. Didn't touch any, or touch the mountains of Halloween sweets in the house. Halo Halloween Wink I have been using the idea mentioned upthread - is it going to be worth it to turn off the fat-burning? Nope. Much rather see a lower number on the scales.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 31/10/2017 17:11

I had a mini colour consult and style session at John Lewis last year when I did my mega you’ve lost loads of weight shop.

I’m a soft summer and I do think it really helps. I’m much better at picking what will look good. But I maybe rely a bit too much on navy now as I’m not supposed to wear black and can’t always find charcoal. Should be a bit more adventurous I guess.

HarlotsWeb · 31/10/2017 17:23

I had mine done about a year ago, but find that my ability to see the colours is not great - I need someone to say "yes, that's the right blue for a winter"!

B Parma ham
L steak and salad
D chicken curry with cauliflower rice

SoMuchToBits · 31/10/2017 17:30

I used to be like that when I first had mine done Harlots - I always took my wallet of swatches with me if I went shopping. But now I know instinctively which colours are right for me, as I've been wearing them for so long.

My lunch was a cheese, spinach, mushroom and tomato omelette.

Dinner will be the usual Tuesday night staple of baked chicken thighs (with skin) and Greek style veg.
