I love this week, because this is when all the naysayers and doubters realise that this WOE really works!

(... and those who've cheated realise that that really doesn't work Wink)

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to record your first loss

I missed most of this weekend as I have my very lovely SIL staying with us, prior to her leaving for a 6 month stint in Australia. So I haven't been able to be as glued to the laptop as I am usually.

Glad to hear that some of you have reported in good losses already - I'll look forward to hearing the rest today!

Good luck everyone, for this second week. Hopefully after a good first week you'll know it's worth it Flowers

@SayrraT thank you I'll go check the fruit list Smile

Rshard · 19/10/2017 18:16

That’s a perfect treat prettybird. The extent of my grey makes a colour a necessity tho! I will think of something similar, perhaps get my nails done.

Any more?

starsky22 · 19/10/2017 18:16

Thanks SayrraT that is really helpful, I noticed that celeriac is on twice and might be useful to add sweetcorn as it's one to avoid?

A thanks for the update on C4 glad she has all her family around her. Keeping fighting brave lady!

ASDismynormality · 19/10/2017 18:23

Rshard. I've treated myself to a haircut so far, promised myself I would get my nails done but haven't actually done that yet - maybe at the next stone off!

NutButterNutter · 19/10/2017 18:24

Thinking of you C4 and loved ones Flowers

starsky22 · 19/10/2017 18:39

Well done prettybird

Rshard I treated myself to new sunglasses when I got to my pre-pregnancy weight and have just ordered myself a new bag for losing 2 stone, can't wait for it to arrive! Thinking about getting one of the beauty advent calendars (as suggested by someone on here, sorry can't remember who) when I reach my next, possibly final target.

DH has said in the past that he'll take me out for a michelin star meal if I get back to my wedding weight (he doesn't care what a weigh, just said it to encourage me as I love good food!) but I haven't wanted to use food as rewards, plus I'm not sure I'd get to that weight again!

Rshard · 19/10/2017 18:46

I think it’s great to celebrate weight loss achievements. Very generous of your dh starsky22. Years ago, my dh promised me £1 per pound as I started WW again in the new year. By August I’d lost 50lb and he handed me £500 and we went shopping.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 19/10/2017 18:48

Rshard, I put a tenner on the fridge door for each 10 pounds. When I get to goal weight I'll do something absolutely frivolous with it.

That's my reward system.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 19/10/2017 18:52

Thanks for the spreadsheet update super helpful. I do have a quick question though. Does any know about sugarsnap peas. Are they forbidden?

Hope that c4 has a good night and feels better soon.

Veryflummoxed · 19/10/2017 18:55

Grumpy your photos are fantastic.

SayrraT · 19/10/2017 18:57

Sugar snap peas are on the spreadsheet, I can't remember what they are though.

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 19/10/2017 19:08

That's weird I really can't see them. I blame the stupid phone!

YoLoNovVitMe · 19/10/2017 19:10

Oh shit C4 . Bloody hell something in my sodding eye. Thanks A for updating us. Please keep posting her progress, and read the posts to her when you visit. This one is just for her ears:

Right, C4 . Listen up missus. You've got enough balls to fight this bug and you know it. You are already getting the upper hand. It's launching one last desperate lung flooding attack because it knows it is losing, and you've got to sucker punch it into oblivion. You hear me? Because too many people need you. Lola needs her mummy, Alfie and your other DGC need you around to read their bedtime stories every night. DH would be lost without you, c'mon he can't even remember to pick up the right bags when he leaves the house fgs. Your DC need you and even the Skids do though they probably won't admit it. And don't forget us, the pathetic bootcampers who can't do without your wickedly evil sense of humour and your stick wielding. And what about all of your unfinished projects? So, get cracking woman on beating this current blip. You know you can. #yourshithealthcanpissrightoff Namaste our most favourite Bitch. Flowers

Veryflummoxed · 19/10/2017 19:10

Thanks SayrraT that’s really helpful.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 19/10/2017 19:14

YoLo you'd make a very good cheerleader. Thumbs up.

Grumpy you look so healthy and active it's hard for me to think you're late 50s. That gives many a wonderful example to aspire to.

It. Is. Never. Too. Late. To. Change.

It is never too late to get healthier.

It. Is. Never. Too. Late. To. Lose. Weight.

We can all do this.

SayrraT · 19/10/2017 19:20

Row 40, sugarsnap peas, 4.8 Smile

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 19/10/2017 19:24

Thank you! My list stops at row 13 so I must be doing something stupid!

twinkledag · 19/10/2017 19:42

Keep fighting @C4rollinandventing Flowers

BIWI · 19/10/2017 19:47

@SoMuchToBits, and NoMore

NOMORE, I have also noticed my teeth feel cleaner. I think it's because of a lack of sugar coating the teeth

This is absolutely true - sugar reacts with the bacteria in your mouth for form plaque, so eating low carb is also good for your oral hygiene

@Cherrypi the worst withdrawal I ever had was from caffeine!

@thedaysismine please don't stop posting! This thread is for support for all of us

@prettybird brilliant, brilliant news! Well done Flowers

@Thiswillbemyusername

D: sea bream with roast vegetables
S: pork scratchings, clementine

Surely this isn't all you've eaten today? Forgive me, as I have skimmed through a lot of posts recently - but if this is it, then you're really not eating enough

@SayrraT as ever, many thanks for the spreadsheet stuff. Don't know what we'd do without you Flowers

Apologies for massive post - and also if I've missed anyone out! It's been a bit of a mega week so far and I haven't had chance to log on very much!

Good wishes to @C4pinkwheels, and wishing you a speedy recovery.

clear that’s a brilliant idea, I might pinch it!

Fantastic words yolo

SayrraT · 19/10/2017 20:31

Hmm timbuk I don't know why that is Confused

No problem BIWI there used to just be allowed veg etc but I thought it would useful to see carbs in other things. Might make it easier to make decisions if people can see that eating that potato will be 20g carbs.

BIWI · 19/10/2017 20:33

I'm chuffed to report a definite NSV today as well. I bought a skirt recently from Sainsbury's that I could fasten up, but it was very tight, and showed every bulge!

Today, it fastened easily and looked pretty good! Grin

wecantallbeperfect · 19/10/2017 20:38

Radio 4 says that there is a butter shortage and the first thought that sprung to mind was it's all of us on this thread buying butter Grin

HarlotsWeb · 19/10/2017 21:02

An insanely busy day, but horrified to come out and read about C4. There's obviously loads of backstory I don't know, but I hope very much she is feeling ok and recovered quickly.

B creamy coffee
L Parma ham and olives
S ff yoghurt
D lamb shish from the kebab shop with shredded onion, cabbage and cucumber salad, dressed in oil. Realised as they were making it that the lamb was sitting in a marinade. It didn't taste sweet, but it did look quite glossy. Hmmm.

Not enough water as usual.

wombattoo · 19/10/2017 21:09

prettybird - well done Star

Sayrra Great job with the veg chart. Thanks very much Thanks

BIWI and well done on your nsv Thanks
