My weight has crept up since my all time low 3 days ago, I blame the tub of smetana I consumed over the weekend! Smetana is like a yoghurt made with cream, heavenly! Now it's finished I shall refocus.

Veryflummoxed · 02/10/2017 10:19

Just caught up again, though I confess to a bit of a Skim read on this occasion or I'd never have got to the end.

A couple of newbies I see. Welcome. C4 home with Lola. YAY. Pics please. Hi everyone else.

After a brilliant start I've finished SSS scared to get on the scales. Not a good weekend.

Today I start again. Super strict count down to bootcamp.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/10/2017 10:26

ASD - that's been my pattern since May - hit a low, then stabalise a few pounds above for a few weeks. No idea why, but it's happened time and time again. I was down to 9'8 last Monday, but have been up around 9'10-12 ever since. I know I've not been 100% strict due to having visitors but I've been brilliant this weekend so I "should" have gone down, not up. I know that, however strict I am, I will stay around the 10-12 pound mark for a while, and then will hit about 9'4, before staying around 9'7 for the next wee while.

ilovecherries · 02/10/2017 10:39

I do that as well - hit a low, then bounce above it, then creep down a pound, stabilise, go down to a new low, bounce up, creep down another pound, stabilise. Repeat. I now don't let myself accept a new 'low' till I've hit it on three consecutive days. Which is why I'm still not claiming to be in the 12s, even though I have glimpsed 12.13.5 a couple of times in the last week. 13.2 is my 'be honest with yourself' weight today, having hit it for three days.

Mimosa1 · 02/10/2017 12:58

Hi all,
I'm looking forward to bootcamp too. I go back to workmid November and I'd love to be back at my prepregnancy weight, but realistically anything consistently under 80kg would make me happy. I'd like to hit under 75kg by the end of bootcamp so that I have a healthy bmi.
Welcome newbies!

Asd - such a brilliant loss, I'm inspired.

Gammeldagfinderonwheels · 02/10/2017 12:58

My goal for bootcamp and up to Christmas is to be under 9st10lb and to be taking regular exercise.

I was forced off the rails in hospital as my blood sugar kept becoming very low. I refused toast, biscuits, yogurt and ice cream but did eat pieces of cheese, some apple and grapes. I also drank a few glasses of orange juice.

So it's great to be home, I'm staying in my pj's all week as I'm still not 100%, I have to spend at least 13 out of 24 hours on the ventilator just to be able to breathe, its restrictive and boring.
Lola has settled like a dream her and Smokey are happy to sniff each other and share toys which is a good start. Amazingly she slept all night and did her first wee in the garden this morning, she is also adorable and very loving. I've walked her round the garden and when she's had enough she hops onto the footplate of my chair.

So glad to hear you're home, C4! That must be such a relief!

Lola is a wee cutie! Am glad to hear that she and Smokey are getting on so well, as I know he was part of the reason you got her. Can't wait to see photos of the two of them together!

MOIST · 02/10/2017 14:58

Puppy!!!!!'

MOIST · 02/10/2017 14:59

I think I've poisoned myself with reduced belly pork slices. Blurgh.

starsky22 · 02/10/2017 15:37

Hello Lola, you cutie!

So I ended up doing a 24hr fast, got a bit hungry mid morning, but then got distracted by work and soon enough it was lunchtime. Not something I'll do regularly, but interesting to see how I felt and realise that I can go without eating for that long and not be starving!

Veryflummoxed · 02/10/2017 15:57

C4 Love the pup photos. Glad you're home. Good goals.

Gammeldragz · 02/10/2017 16:05

Llareggub well done, great SSS loss!
ASD Smetana sounds good!
c4 ooh, I'm not a dog person, but very cute! Shane about the ventilator vut at least you're breathing!
MOIST Oh no! Get well soon.

Placement is going well, don't feel too lost and everyone is lovely. Only just got my lunch break! So dinner at 9pm isn't so bad. Fasted until now and I was fine. But I'm used to it.
Friend who started LC yesterday can't believe how much energy she has today!

HippadoppaloppaGammeldag · 02/10/2017 16:07

Ahhh I love her C4!

MOIST uh-oh, what happened?

ASD I'm almost too scared to locate and purchase Smetana, it sounds heavenly. Where is it from?

I'll be happy with 1lb at week during the next bootcamp. That will take me to under 9st in time for christmas.

wombattoo · 02/10/2017 16:37

Thiswillbe I hope you are still lurking.

I'm not converting my weight loss to kgs again. What seemed like massive poundage was a rather meagre number of kgs.

ASDismynormality · 02/10/2017 17:26

hippa. The smetana was from a polish shop, I won't be buying it again as it's too good!

MOIST · 02/10/2017 17:37

Perhaps not poisoned but definitely ate too many. I am a pig.

YoLoGammelZammoDag · 02/10/2017 18:06

I found these www.wickedstuffed.com/keto-snacks/low-carb-granola-bar-fat-bombs/

Are these contraband or can I make them? pretty please I have eaten half a bar of 75% amazing Cachet organic chocolate over the past 2 days and I need to stop it. And replace it with something better. My pathetic excuse is that I had very bad guts-ache and missed a few meals in lieu of said chocolate because it was the only thing I fancied eating.

Shiraznowplease · 02/10/2017 18:31

That's one super cute puppy, darent shown the kids or the nagging for one will begin again ....

StuntNun · 02/10/2017 18:52

Yolo they look very high calorie and not amazingly low carb. If you can stick to one they might be fine but if you overeat them they will screw up your weight loss.

RaininSummer · 02/10/2017 20:17

Where do you get this Smetana stuff, sounds lovely.

Glad you are home C4.

ilovecherries · 02/10/2017 20:36

Mmmm. Fridge-clearing meal of spiced chicken'pasta' bake with courgetti. Very nice.

Veryflummoxed · 02/10/2017 20:54

B fasting
L two fried eggs with avocado chips
D hm vegetable soup. Slice roast beef. Mini cucumber.

Gammeldragz · 02/10/2017 20:56

Lunch - lettuce, Caesar dressing, olive oil and pesto dressing. Ham. Feta. Olives.
Dinner - chilli in lettuce "tacos" with cheese, soured cream and a little hot salsa.

Am shattered...
