Oooohh, shiny new bootcamp :). That's not long to wait at all.

Gammeldagfinderonwheels · 23/09/2017 18:28

Thanks BIWI & Stunt,

You are absolutely correct it's a complete failure to plan, often there are no leftovers because I skip dinner if DH is working late and the afternoon creamy coffee has stopped me getting hungry. So there are some days when I have creamy coffee, salad or omelette for lunch and a creamy coffee for dinner, you would think that the weight would be dropping off me but I guess my body thinks I'm starving to death. Probably no surprise that I feel sleepy and lethargic in the mornings and have run out of energy by 7:30pm.
I have no excuses as I have my PA working four days a week and she can cook/plan meals for me.

Been out shopping with DD and kitted her out with shoes, new back pack, clothes ready for her starting back at Uni as a post grad, now on the ventilator recharging for tonight.

Gammeldagfinderonwheels · 23/09/2017 18:29

Sorry for name confusion I'm still C4 if I use my phone for some strange reason

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 23/09/2017 18:36

TimeIhadaNameChange well done and great to see you adapt to hiw those damn scales work. Been stuck on a 2lb range then drop 2 then stick drop so KOKO

NOMOREoatcakesandcheese · 23/09/2017 19:26

Yay, count me into the next BC.
I'm KOKO and down a Ib from last week - not bad!! Altogether from when I started I've lost 10lb in 7 weeks, that's ok with me as I don't want to lose fast and find my skin goes all wrinkled up or my arms looking like the hanging gardens of Babylon.

Reading some of the posts about keeping to the woe and not sliding into carbytwatism. I also like the fact that it's clear about what we eat and what we don't eat, I can work with that - I don't like diets that are too specific or too vague and I don't like counting or weighing so I'm fine with this woe and I can get on with my life and incorporate my eating into it.

ASDismynormality · 23/09/2017 19:29

Count me in for the next bootcamp!

MOIST · 23/09/2017 19:29

I need another boot camp to refocus my tiny Brian.

Meatzza for tea.

HippadoppaloppaGammeldag · 23/09/2017 19:35

Yes BIWI! I'm totally in for the next bootcamp!!

MIL has chosen pizza express for her birthday lunch tomorrow. Fuck fuck fuck, what can I eat? I think they do salad? My phone isn't loading the menu & DH is on the laptop so can't Google.

ASDismynormality · 23/09/2017 19:51

hippa. Cesear salad and some olives?

FinallyHere · 23/09/2017 19:55

StuntNun · 23/09/2017 19:56

Hippa there are a few options at Pizza Express and they're pretty flexible if you need to make changes. I like their platter of salad leaves, olives, cured meats etc. just pass on the breadsticks. They have lots of salads too but you might need to ask for the dressing on the side.

FinallyHere · 23/09/2017 19:56

Just ignore the dough sticks/balls (probably safer to ask for them to be left off)

RaininSummer · 23/09/2017 20:20

Starters can he quite good at pizza pasta places. Bella italia yesterday I had two dishes: mushrooms in sauce and tricolore salad.

Llareggub · 23/09/2017 20:33

Someone mentioned yoghurt and double cream - omg it is stunning!

Forgot to eat until 7pm. Totally forgot. I think it is true about appetite.

YoLoGammelZammoDag · 23/09/2017 20:43

New boot camp!! Yay!!!

moist tell us more about your tiny Brian. Grin Wink

starsky22 · 23/09/2017 20:44

Yay to new bootcamp! Can't wait! Although will be weird going back to bootcamp for 2 weeks, rather than bc lite, no almond lattes!

moist take some time to yourself, you need to recover after your op and then get back on track when you're ready. Have you looked an pinterest, it's great for meal inspiration. Lots of low carb alternatives, so if there is something you're missing or craving then try and find a low carb option rather than giving into the carby option.

Today:
Brunch - fried leftovers - sausages, bacon, mushrooms, cabbage, leeks, broccoli & fried egg, yum!
Snack - 2 chicken wings, salami
D - courgetti carbonara

Gammeldagfinderonwheels · 23/09/2017 20:45

Fuck fuck fuckity fuck - we were going to go to a steak house, instead we have ended up at a beer festival with street food. I'm not spoiling DD's celebration so I'm having the night offish, will have two half pints and make them last and I will have an all day breakfast without the cob.

Help I'm in carby hell again, taking one for the team.

MOIST · 23/09/2017 20:52

My poor tiny Brian is very tired. Grin

Gammeldagfinderonwheels · 23/09/2017 20:57

Bootcamp can't happen soon enough for me. I'm in, BIWI save me from myself

Moanranger · 23/09/2017 21:00

Thanks for advice re low carb flu. I feel a bit better today.
BIWI so pleased to hear there is a new Boot Camp on the horizon. I am defo up for it. Partner is away for a week from Friday, & I am off to a fitness retreat ( read:starvation rations) on 15 Oct, so perfect time for a BC.
I have planned - made a meat pizza yesterday & cut in wedges. Boiled eggs, so tomorrow's day time meals all set (I spend day being groom for my DD who is competing at a one day event -a horsy thing) It will be a very busy day, so food prep so important. Not sur how long pizza will last, so will prepare to bake another PDQ.
The recipe I have makes the crust from mozzarella & shredded chicken. Not too heavy & quite crust-like.

ilovecherries · 23/09/2017 21:11

Out for dinner in a pub, nothing really on menu that would work for me without a LOT of modification, so asked waiter if I could have a cheeseboard as a main course. Turns out his wife is on the bootcamp (don't know who she is though!!) and he organised an amazing cheeseboard, with no biscuits, fruit or chutney, but loads of celery and leaves, and 5 different cheeses, olives and extra butter. So if you recognise your DH, he's lovely and very knowledgeable. :)

HippadoppaloppaGammeldag · 23/09/2017 21:26

Ooooooh oooooh oooooooh I wonder who it is? WHO IS IT????!!!!

HippadoppaloppaGammeldag · 23/09/2017 21:26

Where are you ilove?

ilovecherries · 23/09/2017 21:33

Right at this moment, Inverness.

FinallyHere · 23/09/2017 21:47

Ohh, ilovcherries what a lovely solution.

Slowly, we are taking over the world.... hurrah.

p.s. Wanted to wave to you on the hoc thread, but wasn't sure it was OK there. Feel much more comfortable and less self censoring on this thread.

Next bootcamp, hurrah, I'm in. Keep meaning to do mfp, just for. Few days, shall definitely get it done before the next bootcamp, so i can enjoy the simple rules and no counting again.
