Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

2lb gain this week due to twattiness, but overall loss of half a stone for boot camp so I'm in a much better place than when I started. I know what I need to do now, KOKO all Star

YoLoZammo · 31/07/2017 22:46

Total loss 18.3 lbs for whole of boot camp. Pretty happy with that.

I'm joining the choir to give thanks and appreciation to you all. For everyone who contributed their knowledge and wisdom, for everyone who shared their ups (so we can all be encouraged) and their downs (for us to offer support back and know we are not alone in finding the WOE and just life very hard at times), and for sharing their experiences of exercise, challenges
and recipes (and so inspiring us).

This bc has been part of my "love myself" plan post separation (and now I know it's pre divorce). I've had so many positives from bc: Weight loss, new friends, energy, feeling well, delicious food, better health and loss of inches all over me. Oh and did i say new friends! I will koko and hope we can all stay in touch.

We discussed a meet up a couple of threads ago, so I guess it's now time to arrange that. Birmingham seemed to have the most votes as the location. I'm happy to sort it out if someone who knows the city can recommend a venue. It needs to have good parking, lovely lchf food options, be easy to find, and have disabled access.

Would a Sunday suit most people? End of August or in September?

SummerSazz · 01/08/2017 03:50

I've managed a 2 stone loss since Jan boot camp so thrilled with that. Still in overweight BMI but i will get there. Arrived today on an all inclusive holiday for 2 weeks . My plan is to eat and drink mindfully.

Well done all you bunch of losers 😂

WhatWouldDarylDixonDo · 01/08/2017 06:58

Ok, my starting weight is 11st 2lb. Eeek.
For breakfast I've just had full fat Greek yogurt with some double cream mixed in with it and a small sprinkle of chia seeds.

Copperas · 01/08/2017 07:48

Heman I have exactly the same - now I need root canal after a crown. WHY NOT BEFORE! I dont understand this at all. I am koko as I have a lot to lose, but the best thing is DH (type 1 diabetic) is now hflc and has the best blood sugar control in decades

prettybird · 01/08/2017 08:04

Whatwould - iirc, if you are wanting to do "full" Boot Camp, technically you shouldn't be having seeds for the first two weeks. (Can't get into the spreadsheet as on an old iPhone which struggles with it).

If you like cinnamon, that's also nice mixed into the yoghurt (I do and the bonus is that it apparently also might be good for weight loss too Smile)

Well done for starting! SmileFlowers

ragz134 · 01/08/2017 08:14

Weight today is 1.6lb more than Friday. Will check again tomorrow and declare that as my end of bootcamp weight. I wouldn't be surprised if all the sunburn has affected fluid retention! Well done on all the amazing losses and thanks to all for being here and being awesome!

WhatWouldDarylDixonDo · 01/08/2017 08:23

Ah thank you prettybird. I would have gone on having them. No more seeds now BlushI do love cinnamon so will have that next time

prettybird · 01/08/2017 08:30

Having said that, a few sprinkled seeds probably wouldn't have been an issue. The challenge is that nuts and seeds can be quite calorie concentrated, so nibbling on a few nuts can impede the benefit of Boot Camp in trying to teach you to listen to real hunger cues and to use fat and protein for satiation and energy.

ASDismynormality · 01/08/2017 08:34

ilove. That chicken tonola sounds delicious, will definitely be trying that.

yolo. Lovely to hear that bootcamp has created a positive snowball for you.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 01/08/2017 08:36

So weigh in... 2lbs up on pre-holiday but that must be still water and cocktail weight, haha. Good thing I didn't weigh last week, I dread to think what the gain would have been!

Food today:
B - scrambled egg & ham
L - salad with smoked salmon
D - salad & chicken thighs

I know it's lazy having salad twice but I'm at work later & it's just easier to take bagged salad to have with things.

HemanOrSheRa · 01/08/2017 09:19

Oh lordy Copperas I'm sorry to read that Flowers. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Where are you Summer? We are off to an AI hotel in Mallorca VERY SOON. I am so excited. An AI hotel breakfast is a thing of wonder Grin.

sheepysheep · 01/08/2017 09:57

Weighed in this morning and have lost nil in the lat 10 weeks... However, I've been boot camping for a long while (20 months), my shape has changed even if my weight hasn't and I'm at my goal weight - though I'm considering revising it as I still have a swim ring muffin top belly! I am training for an endurance charity event at the moment but once that is done I am going to start looking at doing more weights / resistance / pilates / shred type things rather than 100% cardio based exercise which will hopefully get rid of it. I will keep running though so will happily join in C4's GNR team Smile if you want me

There have been some fantastic losses - well done ladies (and gent). Big, massive, eternally grateful thanks to BIWI and co. Flowers, I echo others in saying this really has changed my approach to eating, food choices and hangry-ness! I was a complete carb addict before and the mood swings were horrific, particularly if I had to go without a meal for whatever reason. And my weight was creeping up steadily every month. I wish I had discovered LCHF years ago, but when I was at Uni it was always low cal, low fat message. Hopefully this has changed in the last 20 years (I studied nutrition but ended up doing something completey different).

This WOE works, is not depriving in any way and is easy to stick to when out and about - this is really important to me as I travel a lot with work. This is me now - I eat like this all the time. To anyone wondering what to do between bootcamps, I've found the best and easiest solution is to KOKO. I've had treat meals and to be honest, for me, they have not been nearly as tasty as I was anticipating and the after-effects can be pretty grim.

Oh and thanks for the advice on nutrition for fuelling long distance stuff - I have found a solution ..... portable peanut better supplies! I've also started making Quest bars which are nutty/coconut flour/fat bars of stodge; easy to eat on the bike/run and they don't require refridgeration. And most importantly they don't affect my stomach so no fear of digestive upsets Blush

Pre-summer Bootcamp - our last weigh-in!
ClearEyesFullHearts · 01/08/2017 10:15

Finished at 203, so a .2 loss (which could be me removing my jewellery, but I'll take it)

SPREADSHEET QUEENS-- @wombattoo? the formula in column AD needs to be adjusted. It seems to be subtracting from two weeks ago, not last week. Not sure how important that is at this stage, just FYI.

C4pinkwheels · 01/08/2017 10:53

Sheepysheep count yourself in bitch

SummerSazz · 01/08/2017 11:29

Heman we are in Mexico - some advice is not to eat the salads as washed in tap water but I'm ignoring that. I can't have 2 weeks in 30 degree heat and no salad! Also the water they pour out in the restarAunt doesn't seem to come from bottles although I guess it might.
1st day all food on plan - I've had a beer and a Mojito but that's better than beer plus mojito plus carbs....
✈️☀️🍸

sheepysheep · 01/08/2017 12:14

Yay C4 I'm your bitch! You'll have to be C4pinktrainers for the GNR!

TheWayOfTheWorld · 01/08/2017 12:35

Hi everyone, I dropped off the threads a couple of weeks ago due to getting v busy at work etc and was then on holiday last week.

I started off holiday with good intentions - even took my spiraliser etc - but did have some bread, chips, cake, crisps, ice cream and chocolate - so was a super carby twat. Still managed to knock off half a stone and am so close to getting into the 9 stone bracket.

Am back on track this week and doing a 5 day egg fast. Have been laid up in bed with a virus since yesterday so actually not that hungry... have made egg mayo for lunch, had scrambled eggs for breakfast and will have an omelette for dinner.

There have been some amazing results on this boot camp. I do wonder if I have been having too much cream and dark chocolate. I would like to knock off another half stone or so, will KOKO Smile

ASDismynormality · 01/08/2017 12:42

Just went to Sainsbury's to buy myself a new outfit. I looked in the sale section and found some trousers I liked in a size 16 - they fit and they aren't even stretchy! In January I was squashing myself into size 22 stretchy clothes - love this WOE!

ASDismynormality · 01/08/2017 12:43

TheWayOfTheWorld. Good luck with the egg fast. I first tried it last week and found it much easier than I thought.

starsky22 · 01/08/2017 13:19

Congratulations everyone! I am amazed by all the weight loss results Star

I weighed in yesterday and had put 2lbs on overnight, but was convinced it was just water and so decided that would not be my final weigh in and would weigh in today instead. So weighed this morning and I have lost the 2lbs plus another 1lb!

Which means....I have lost A STONE!

I am thrilled, in the last 6 weeks I have not eaten any pasta, potatoes, cake, chocolate or puddings and the only bread I have had is 1 protein roll, and I didn't starve to death! Instead I have been eating yummy real food, I love this woe and I have not felt hungry once. In fact I have fasted a few days and managed to go 16 hours without eating with no issues. I cannot believe I have been able to stick to this for 6 weeks, with very little effort and know that I will have no problem continuing with it. Looking forward to seeing where i am after 10 weeks.

Thank you to everyone for your posts and support, they have definitely helped me keep going and made me realise that I CAN do this!

I am going to KOKO and will also keep posting my meals as it helps me be accountable, so this was yesterday:
B fasting
L chicken leg & cauli cheese
D chicken passanda, saag paneer & green beans (you're going to see this repeated for the next few days as I have loads leftover)

Target for next week is to see 10st something on the scales!

prettybird · 01/08/2017 13:29

I've only done a 48 hour egg fast but found it really easy - and it seemed both to kick start weight loss again and stop my habit of HFLC snacking (the two may be almost definitely are linked WinkBlush), so I think I'm thinking of doing a longer one at least once a month up until I reach my target (c3 stone away Shock)

YoLoZammo · 01/08/2017 13:56

ASD wow that's a great NSV. I've been fitting size 18 bottoms (from a 22) but I bought some size 18 dresses in the M&S sale yesterday and they were too small Sad. I thought M&S had generous sizes too so was a bit Blush. I think it's my top half rather than hips. I.e. boobs n belly.

sheepy loving the peanut butter energy boost! I wonder if the reason you have STS is because your body has just reached its optimum weight? Maybe the bulgey bits can be toned into submission? I'm holding out this as a hope for mine when I've lost all the excess weight and I look like a baggy deflated Michelin man!

Do people still want me to organise a meet up for the group? I had no replies to my last post Confused

WhatWouldDarylDixonDo · 01/08/2017 14:08

Well it took all my strength not to eat any sandwich I made the DC. Plus I've got cookies in the oven which I'm trying to ignore.

For lunch I had cheese and cucumber "wraps" ( wrapped them in ham) and I'm about halfway through my 2nd litre of water.

ASDismynormality · 01/08/2017 14:14

yolo even within the same shop sizes can be really inconsistent- my DD wears XS, S and M from H&M.
I'm near London so wouldn't be able to make a Birmingham meet up, not too keen on a meet up anyway as I'm quite unsociable.
