Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

I think I'm up for it!! We are back from holiday tomorrow and then have 2 camping trips before the end of Aug.

Think I'll need it lol.

starsky22 · 13/08/2017 19:51

Back from my mini break, wasn't very BC, but tried to limit the damage, had a posh meal out last night, the vegetables and sauces/blobs on the plate were probably carby, but very small amounts, annoyingly I chose a main which had no mention of potatoes and then turned up with potatoes on the dish! Did have a taste of the potato but then left the rest. No bread or pudding which is amazing restraint for me!

Yesterday:
B fasting
L bunless bacon cheeseburger, salad, courgette fries (only had a few as they had a batter on them)
D scallops & confit chicken, quail, carrots, lettuce, tiny amount of potato, sauces & splodges
Few glasses of white wine and a baileys

Today:
B sausages, bacon, mushrooms & fried eggs
L roast chicken, green beans, carrots, peas & gravy (at PILs so didn't have much choice with the veg)
D not sure, not particularly hungry at the moment

I've got our wedding anniversary in Sept, so won't committ to strict Sept as going somewhere vairy naaice, so no chance of being strict that day!

ninnando · 13/08/2017 20:44

Count me in for SSS too. I'm beginning to drift again so it's just what I need. I'm on holiday at the moment and trying so hard to limit the rosé, its not been hard to ignore ice creams and desserts but the drinking is a challenge.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/08/2017 21:09

Hello hello hello, been MIA. Still BC-Lite-ing.

Back to tracking on MFP as feel myself eating too much since holiday. All BC-approved, just too much!!

Today:
B - greek yoghurt & berries
L - picnic type thing - chorizo, olives, double gloucester
D - scrambled eggs

We;re going away on Tuesday for a few days to my dad's, so there will be lots of gin consumed. He always has nuts & things before dinner as well, so that should be fun!

C4pinkwheels · 13/08/2017 22:13

I've had a super fabulous weekend whizzing around Cardiff with my DD both of us in our electric wheelchairs, we've had some lovely M&D time, time for date night with DH and we all went for brunch this afternoon after a lazy Sunday lie in.
DD greeted me at the door with the cutest baby bunny on her lap and the conversation we had at graduation came back to haunt me "in theory if I could set up suitable living arrangements would you object to me having a pet" in your apartment that we're never moving out of.
She has four older siblings and has obviously channelled all of their collective wisdom on how best to manipulate mummy. But she's 23 and lives with an incurable condition which means her life is always going to be bloody shit in many respects. She gets the perfect balance of using me and sucking up and as we were leaving she was showing off her latest hand woven scarves and presents me with the most beautiful one, made specially for me. Played like a violin.

So I haven't been a carby twat save for two g&t's last night. I stopped taking antibiotics on Friday so will send off a sample tomorrow to see if I am bug free for the first time since April.

Back to being good tomorrow, no booze, no carb creep, lots of water. It's my countdown to the wedding on 16/9 and becoming a GM for the eighth time probably the same week, I was 9st something when my first dgd was born ten years ago, I would so love to be 9st something ready to meet Alfie.

I have kneecaps! Proper, bony kneecaps that sort of stick out of my legs, rather than just a fleshy hinge. I am quite taken with them, and I dont think they were there in all their glory this am

ilovecherries · 14/08/2017 07:49

13 stone, 91/2 lbs. 2 lbs down, half a pound away from being a fat bitch. Grin

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 14/08/2017 08:09

Hi there all,
will do a SSS with you all, didn't have a dehydrated ride result this week. still over 200 - 205.6 to be exact.

But know it's been all my fault to many almonds/coconut shreds and raisins - dd made a jam jar of trail mix. watched a move and did the little by little eat the whole jar. So pretty luck to have stayed about-sh the same weight.

will be doing better next week lunches, snacks and blood testing Tuesday. going to see if I match the requirements for a garlic test at the UofM food research. last 3 was easily in the high blood pressure at160/90 and 44inch waist. But they might not like this woe and desire to lose more than 10lbs in the next 4 months. Which means I get free blood test and a DEXA body scan without doing the garlic eating. Smile Will be able to compare to the ones from a year ago.

Hope you all are having a fun start to the week and are ready for day 1 of the rest of your life.

Cherrypi · 14/08/2017 08:14

I'm up for sss too. Seem to have gone off alcohol recently so may as well give it up officially. Have slipped into more carbs with husband on holiday but am noting how they make me feel. My first bowl of pasta in a while gave me stomach ache. I prefer not being hungry and the more in control feeling of low carb.

StuntNun · 14/08/2017 08:36

Distractotron I'm allergic to cats too but we have a Siberian Forest Cat which are naturally hypoallergenic. I have an urge to get a kitten, I must be feeling broody now that DS4 is over two years old. I desperately want another dog after we lost our lab cross in 2015 but we've since moved into a rented house and we aren't allowed a dog. The landlord wasn't keen on the cat either, we only got in because she's hypoallergenic. Isn't she fwuffy?

Pre-summer Bootcamp - our last weigh-in!
OldBooks · 14/08/2017 08:42

Ignoring rest of thread to go "squeeeeeeeee" at Stunt's cat! I would love one of the larger cat breeds, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat etc. I told DH if we aren't having a third DC then I need one Grin

twinklestar2 · 14/08/2017 08:43

I'm up for SSS too!

It's bibs here with a name change!!

It was my son's 3rd birthday on Friday. Was off plan but man I felt ill! Reined it back in yesterday - all low carb apart from a piece of his birthday cake Smile. 2lbs gained but I know that will be gone in a few days. KOKO!!

C4pinkwheels · 14/08/2017 08:48

Stunt I love your pussy cat, she certainly is a fluff bucket and super cute too.

My menu for the day is as follows

B. FF Greek yogurt with lemon zest
L. Tuna mayo salad
D. Courgetti with mushrooms cooked in butter topped with cheese

OldBooks · 14/08/2017 09:29

twinkle interesting that you felt ill. We are off on hols soon and I am afraid of being tempted (or not being able to follow woe adequately due to limited choices) and then feeling ill. Even DH said to me yesterday "please stick to the woe while we are away as I don't want you shut in the hotel with the runs!" We are having a very rare few days alone at a spa before going to join my parents and the DDs at my parents house where it will be easier to stick to woe.

Veryflummoxed · 14/08/2017 09:29

Cherries I am delighted that you're about to become a fat bitch

Stunt I love your cat

I'm feeling better this morning, also not feeling fat (I'm sure you know what I mean) and a little hungry, so I've decided not to abandon the egg fast and go and cook myself an omelette.

starsky22 · 14/08/2017 11:35

Morning all!

Welcome to Ilovecherries kneecaps, nice to meet you!

oldbooks I'd heed your DH advice, i was a bit more relaxed at the weekend and ended up with stomach ache, i think due to some courgette fries that had some kind of batter on them, I only ate a few and it definitely wasn't worth it.

I've STS this week, not surprised after alcohol and some carbiness at the weekend, back on it today and hoping for a better result next week.

Didn't have time to sort out lunch before work today, any ideas of what I can pick up, there's a small sainsburys nearby and a waitrose.

ilovecherries · 14/08/2017 12:17

Starsky, I sometimes eat avocado out of its shell with a spoon. Sprinkle of salt (lifted from Starbucks if nec - I bloody spend enough there!) or a squeeze of lime if I'm feeling crazy wild.

HemanOrSheRa · 14/08/2017 14:37

I AM ON HOLIDAY Grin. It's lovely. Bit of a long night/day with a 6 am flight. We arrived at the hotel just before 11am. Our room wasn't ready until 2.30 Confused. I did know this but I wasn't expecting Palma airport to be quite so efficient at getting us on our way. Anyway, lovely hotel. Fab check in with cold cava Grin. We staggered off to the beach bar for cold drinks and a swim until our room was ready. I'm having a cold beer on the terrace now after unpacking. Lunch was great - cheese, chorizo, salads. Loads of other choices, but we are very tired and I just grabbed what I thought would be OK.

I'll catch up with the thread later Smile.

starsky22 · 14/08/2017 14:49

Thanks cherries however no avocado in Waitrose and couldnt get salt in Starbucks either! Hmmph!
Ended up with rotisserie chicken & salad leaves, luckily I have a small bottle of olive oil and mayo in the office.
Also somehow ended up with an iced almond milk latte!

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 14/08/2017 16:05

starsky22 that's my lunch 4 days a week, well the salad is a QTR of the large family bag so not exactly a few.

stunt that's 1 giant looking fur ball.

HemanOrSheRa oh so jealous, by the time you get in your room you'll be ready for siesta, then up early evening to party the night away. Hope you have looooooadds of fun

B- 2 fried eggs in coconut oil and 1/2 a hot Italian sausage - C4 that's the description on the label. not a euphemism for your thought processes. Grin

L - will be as above
supper?? something before 7 as got to do a 12 fast. so will include a BPC at the very least and an early night.

ilovecherries · 14/08/2017 16:06

No avocado in Waitrose? That's a sacking offence!

Heman, have a lovely holiday.

wombattoo · 14/08/2017 16:42

Have a lovely holiday Heman

Veryflummoxed · 14/08/2017 17:00

Enjoy your holiday Hema. Sounds wonderful.

Distractotron · 14/08/2017 17:11

Ilove - congrats on the knees!
Stuntnun - how can she be hypoallergenic but so fluffy?! She's lovely.
Heman - have a lovely holiday!

Just had two fatty pork chops in olive oil for my tea. With Frank's Hot Sauce. I'm a bit addicted to that stuff.

MOIST · 14/08/2017 17:36

Heman. That sounds so lovely. Enjoy it!
