Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

Sorry...haven't bootcamped before and wondered if there will be another boot camp soon?

Does anyone know when another boot camp is scheduled to start?

HemanOrSheRa · 10/08/2017 23:06

stumbley October I reckon. In the run up to Christmas Smile.

OldBooks · 11/08/2017 07:02

stumbley if you want to start lchf now we are still chatting and sharing experiences here and will until October. Some of us have lots to lose so we are keeping going between bootcamps

ragz134 · 11/08/2017 08:03

Another .8lb off today, despite having cream and yogurt last night (had dinner too early I think). I did have an egg supper at 10:30 as I was hungry, do two egg meals yesterday.
Egg breakfast/lunch again today, then a normal dinner.

OldBooks · 11/08/2017 08:07

I wooshed 2 lbs overnight! Meaning 4lbs off in the egg fast, 3 of which were water weight from carb creep. It also means I am my lowest weight yet and have finally officially lost a STONE!

bellalurgy · 11/08/2017 08:21

Mrsmartell08 · 11/08/2017 08:22

FinallyHere · 11/08/2017 08:51

Hugs to everyone struggling and congratulations on all the successes. I have come to really love these threads, where and my jeans fell down is universally acknowledged as a good thing and we honestly, genuinely know what you mean by fartng unicorn dust [happy face, bit thinner than it used to be]

GaleBeaufort · 11/08/2017 08:52

The difference is amazing oldbooks , very inspiring, well done.

OldBooks · 11/08/2017 09:04

Oooh thanks gale I don't think I have been inspiring before! I think a fair bit of the before pic is bloating from wheat/sugar, I have seen such an improvement in my ahem gassiness and general digestive comfort!

lurknolinger · 11/08/2017 09:08

Wanting to be able to fart Unicorn dust is all the motivation I need to KOKO! Grin
Old those pictures are amazing well done you must be chuffed to have lost a stone.
I've put on 0.8 lb overnight so total from egg fast for me is now 3.4lbs. Planning for 2 egg meals today and a normal dinner later.

oatcakesandcheeseplease · 11/08/2017 09:32

Well done Oldbooks that's some achievement. Well done to all you losers and egg fasters 💐💐

I'm still going through the carb flu- I felt better last night after loads of water and salt and oxo cubes. I woke at 5 needing a wee- no surprise there! I couldn't doze off again but must have cause now I'm trying to wake myself up and feeling headachey

Going to stay with Bil and Sil this weekend. I'll try to keep to no carbs - they can be a bit pushy with food and cakes.- I'll do my best Your tips on how to keep to bcamp when staying with relatives and friends will be much needed

Your tips on how to keep to bcamp when staying with relatives and friends will be much needed

Do they know you eat low carb, high fat? They should be able to accommodate that fairly easily--much of this way of eating can be achieved by simply not eating parts of a 'regular' meal, like skipping the potatoes at Sunday roast or having just the egg and bacon but not the toast and baked beans at breakfast.

It depends entirely on whether they're planning to serve meals that you can also eat or adapt.

Most people are supportive of you ask them to be. If they're not, then you must plan and provide your own food to stay on track.

And cake is easy, just politely decline.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 11/08/2017 09:53

I don't mean you should rock up with a bunch of ingredients and cook separately for yourself, by the way. That would be a bit OTT.

Just make sure you bring along enough snacks or have a back up plan for food.

Mostly I'd just ask them what the food will be and work from there.

oatcakesandcheeseplease · 11/08/2017 09:59

Stumbly I'm new too. I tagged along since Sunday. Read the info at the beginning of this thread that BIWI put on and ask questions - everyone is friendly and helpful. I'm learning and loving it!

oatcakesandcheeseplease · 11/08/2017 10:11

Thanks Cleareyes they're the sort that if you say "I'm on a low carb diet" will say "you don't need to diet" "you're not fat" etc I am and I do. I might say I've been told by my doctor- She did tell me to lose some weight - in a roundabout way!

I'll take up a stock my total yogurts - what else??

I think I'll suggest we all go out for a meal tomorrow night as I can choose what I want to eat then.

bellalurgy · 11/08/2017 13:18

Today I really pushed the boat out Grin Decided that I'll try maintaining for a while, at least until my op anyway. Its the middle of the festival and I'm airbnb'ing for the first time which is 'interesting'.

So in the spirit of being a bit more adventurous I've been on the ditch the carbs website and had a sweet keto muffin warm with butter and keto 'jam'. I must say it was bloody lovely. The 'jam' tastes like raspberries rather than sugar mmmm

I'm going to forget all the walking I can't do because my blerdy sprained ankle is still swollen and painful and start on yoga or pilates. Something I can do for long term benefit.

Just in general be nice to myself, stop thinking about all the things I can't do and start trying stuff I may or may not be able to do. Don't know till I try Wink

So the egg fast seems to have got rid of the 2lb gain I had. Plus another pound. I am today, officially, not overweight! BMI is 24.9, so balancing precariously on the edge. But still... Haven't been a normal weight for about 4 years. Also, looking back on my MFP graph. I have never lost this much weight before (started at a higher weight this time). Have never stayed on any WOE for this long either. I'm 7 months in and really feel I could eat this way forever. My losses may have slowed right down and I know that the last 20lbs are going to be tougher to shift, but I have hope! Hopefully this gives the newbies some inspiration and hope as well.
KOKO my friends and #namastebitches

oatcakesandcheeseplease · 11/08/2017 14:40

Brilliant Ragz that's very inspiring 💐

bellalurgy · 11/08/2017 16:01

ragz that's amazing.... how many people do you know who are now officially normal Grin

starsky22 · 11/08/2017 16:03

That's a great before and after photo oldbooks the difference is amazing, looks like you have lost much more.

Well done ragz great achievement! I'm impressed that I have stuck with this woe for 7 weeks, let alone 7 months, but I also think I can stick with it as the food is so good and I don't feel deprived.

Going away this weekend (without the kids!!) which will involve lots of eating and drinking, but know that I can stick to low carb meals and will try not to drink too much! Grin
