Morning all. Very excited to hear the final scores!

Here's the Spreadsheet for its last outing this Bootcamp

We'll keep this chat thread going, and when it finishes, we'll start a new one so that we can keep the support going until next Bootcamp.

Hi oatcakes 😊
C4 your rabbit is lovely!

oatcakesandcheeseplease · 06/08/2017 21:20

Hi all I'll change my name then 😀 maybe to chocolateandwine.l good one? X

secretsignal · 06/08/2017 21:27

Salmon with fennel and courgetti with marscapone tonight, yum. Last proper meal before The Egg Fast. I've been
yoyo-ing around 140 too long, action is needed. But 5 days? Can it be done??

starsky22 · 06/08/2017 21:28

Good luck on the egg fast everyone, looking forward to hearing how you all get on.

Today was a bit lacking in veg:
B half protein roll with butter & peanut butter (love that I can have both on this woe!)
L hog roast
D salmon, courgette, asparagus, all cooked in oil, one sweet potato wedge (was going to have a few as I thought I'd be hungry, but ate one and realised I didn't need the rest)

Weight has remained the same all week, but AF arrived today, so hoping for a loss once that is over

secretsignal · 06/08/2017 21:29

Lovely bunny C4, we're getting guinea pigs in 2 weeks. I'm more excited than the kids!!

Distractotron · 07/08/2017 06:17

Ooh secret, please post photos when you do! I love guinea pigs but can't have any right now. Very envious!

MOIST · 07/08/2017 06:39

Just packing my lunch box for the next 13 hours.
I have 3 hard boiled eggs and 3 eggs to scramble. With some butter and marscapone.
This should be interesting.

Distractotron · 07/08/2017 06:59

Breakfast on the left; picnic lunch on the right. I was aiming for 'quiche' but ended up with (I think) soufflé? - tried to get a pic when it was all inflated but it went down quickly!

Morning everyone, feels weird not to do a weigh in /spreadsheet today.
Loads of eggfast chat going on, will join you in. Think will only do 4days (if I can manage that long!!!)
Had cream pancakes last nigh ( recipe with ground almonds) with some cream and berries... was delicious Grin DH wasn't very pleased as they 'weren't sweet'. That's the whole point of low carb I would say.
Have been LCHF for nearly 5mnths and I found them sweet enough.

YoLoZammo · 07/08/2017 08:54

Brekkie: 2 hot hb eggs with a dollop of butter. Don't know why but it made me feel sick. Maybe because I forced it down quickly before I left for work whereas I usually eat brekkie on the train or In the office. Not a good start.

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 07/08/2017 09:05

Hi everyone,

Did my 200km (125miles) bike ride Saturday, but carbed out in the last 30km. Stopped to get something because was being to get to the bonk stage in a small garage grabbed a magnum peanut butter ice cream and a mineral water. felt the instant sugar rush. Water was 33gm of carbs 103 calories. Did the last 20 miles on road and gravel in an hour. got in weigh 200.6 lowest reading for years. Yesterday morning bounced to 208.9.
3 am here an going to go to bed but still feel wide awake. didn't have a long lie in either but did have good fats today. Will try to be more careful with the ride snacks next week..

ilovecherries · 07/08/2017 09:06

Down 0.5lbs his week, but given I had a big loss last week that feels fine, and I've stayed in the 13stone something range all week, haven't been bouncing around above it. I think I will do a modified egg fast, i.e., one more 'normal' looking meal a day. I'm going to stay at my parents for a few days and it would just be pointless trying to do the full thing while there.

ilovecherries · 07/08/2017 09:08

I'm trying to work out what a tablespoon of butter weighs? Google is not bring my friend. Is it 15gms?

ilovecherries · 07/08/2017 09:10

Found it! 14.18gms apparently, so wasn't far out.

starsky22 · 07/08/2017 10:05

I'm going to carry on weighing in on a Monday and posting the results here, hoping others will too, as I love hearing how every one is getting on.

I'm 1lb down this week and saw a 10 on the scales for the first time this year! So excited that I danced around my bathroom!

This is when I would usually start relaxing with what I eat as I'm feeling more comfortable with my weight and so don't feel the need to be so strict, then of course the weight piles back on. Not this time, I'm going to keep going and finally lose all my baby weight!

JiminnyCricket · 07/08/2017 10:25

Morning.

Sorry I keep dropping off the thread Blush

Had a wedding on Saturday and was asked 2 days before if I could do the brides hair... havinbg no experience of bridal hair at all.. Hmm Managed it and it worked out and she loved it so all good in the end!

Wedding food was a buffet so I had meat and salad and I weighed in this morning at 15st 5lbs, exactly the same as last week which im more than happy about. I need to tighten the reigns back in a bit though so I'm back on stricter rules this week.

I'm ok with that though :)

Menu today:
B: FF Greek yogurt, flaxseed and strawberries
L: Stir fry veggies, pulled pork (just pork and salt) and a coconut and lemongrass sauce
D: Haven't decided yet, probably "pizza chicken" which is chicken, tomato sauce, chorizo and mozzerella and we'll have that with some green veg of some description!

secretsignal · 07/08/2017 10:27

9 st 13.5 again!!! Nothing at all to do with strawbs, whipped cream and wine at the weekend. Really need to get a safe distance from the 10's ! B: 2 boiled eggs and butter. L and D will be omeletttes. I may go crazy and put some cheese in the second one.

ragz134 · 07/08/2017 10:48

cherries I thought it was an oz of butter per egg, I wondered why I'd struggled to use enough! A tbsp is fine, I can manage that.

Breakfast was two large eggs scrambled with butter (about 30g) and cheese (25g). Not bad.

ragz134 · 07/08/2017 10:52

Weight was up today, as expected as I did have carbs this weekend. Starting egg fast at 176.6lbs. Would like to see under 174 before Sunday.

ASDismynormality · 07/08/2017 10:57

Just .25 of a pound gone this week but I did have some cream and Oppo( a whole tub)ice cream. Also doing an egg fast but will probably be a bit lose with the rules as I may switch between 2 and 3 egg meals a day.

cathyandclare · 07/08/2017 11:54

Had curry last night ( no rice or naan) which must have had some hidden carbs so packing a whole load of bloat today (mostly under my eyes :( ) It should mean I get dramatic results from the egg fast, which has come at the perfect time.
B: 2 eggs fried in butter
S: Exploded babybel
L: Egg mayo
D: Cheese omelette

On my second litre of water. Have taken v unflattering pic in a pair of too tight trousers and will share on Friday/Sat if I can get into them if I can't I may delete the evidence

JiminnyCricket · 07/08/2017 11:59

can someone walk me through exploded babybels please? how? what are they? should I be eating them? Grin

Kleptronic · 07/08/2017 12:32

Ooh Jiminny I was wondering where you were!

Take wax off babybel. Place on plate in microwave. Zap it for 1 min if you're me with my 900w machine.

Babybel turns into a tasty, crispy bubbly cheese crisp.

I sts this week. Really want to egg fast but I have eleventy billion vegetables which won't keep.

starsky22 · 07/08/2017 12:59

Thanks for asking that Jim and for answering Klep i had been wondering the same thing!
