I'm . I want to get married again. I want a frock and a church and a marquee. Didn't do that first time round but I think maybe a 20th anniversary wedding maybe? I have 3 years to talk him in to it.

Haha the bridal shop just shared the photo of me and mum looking awkward!

Oh Jim that's a lovely story! I bought the very first wedding dress I ever tried on too - I knew instantly. I'd just come from a hockey match, after a shower, and I don't think the shop owner thought I was treating it with the proper ceremony. Congrats.

It's all going wrong here. Carb cravings and food boredom. My lowest Monday weigh in but not my lowest weight!

That dress is gorgeous!!!

I think I'm half a pound down this week but AF is on the way so all bets are off as far as weight goes. I won't be weighing next week as I'll be at my mum's house.

I'm still here but annoyed at today's weigh in. Was down to 12st 11 on Friday. Out celebrating my partners birthday at the weekend - was good foodwise but had a few drinks that seem to have translated to 3lb on
Also had a shitty day at work and --just want to fall into a bowl of pasta-- need to heat up my leftover beanless chilli before the carb cravings overwhelm!

That is a gorgeous dress, and I'm sure you will look amazing in it. I bought the first (and only) dress I tried on as well. Went into the shop at 10am, mum and I were sitting in a coffee shop by 10.45 :). I suspect I didn't take my wedding seriously enough - though the marriage has lasted nearly 40 years. How very (extremely!) young we were.

Fabulous dress Jim there is no better beauty treatment than the confidence of wearing something you feel gorgeous in.

The dress looks tiny too, can't wait for the official pics !!! It will be a virtual reception, all us BCers will sit at our computers in our hats sipping fizz and munching pork scratchings and waiting for you to upload the first photos!!!

Oh Jim the dress is beautiful! And your story has brought a tear to my eye. It sounds like you had a lovely experience at the shop and I can only imagine how very different that could have been if you hadn't started your low carb journey, I'm really pleased for you!

I've been very (not envy) and living off dry oatcakes and fizzy drinks. I'm looking forward to eating normally again!

I didn't have a proper wedding dress, I had a short dress from Next (very small wedding - we just needed to get married quickly to rent a house off the Church!) that looks like nightwear! Tried it on the other day and I reckon I am about half a stone off fitting in it again. I'll see if I can find a photo... I wouldn't wear it now, but I liked it at the time. I'm not a big wedding person, but I do regret not having an amazing dress once in my life. Maybe we will have a big do one day for an anniversary and I can dress up for that! Still waiting for my honeymoon...

Lunch - yogurt, cream and raspberries
Dinner - chicken curry. Should have had veg with it but CBA.

Had my first cauliotto this evening. It was surprisingly filling. Had a few peas but also mascarpone cheddar and a bit of cream and lots of herbs

I'd like to make a crustless quiche, but without using cream if possible. I have eggs, Philadelphia, cheese, bacon ... any ideas how I can make one?

Breakfast: fasting
Lunch: Tuna Salad (tuna, spinach, lettuce, cucumber, 1/2 a boiled egg and mozzarella pearl)
Dinner: pork belly, mangetout, broccoli spears, coffee with cream

MOIST The meatza looks amazing. Despite a dozen bootcamps, I have never tried it. I can see that I'm going to have to give it a go.

user, what I would do is whisk eggs with the Philly. Chop the bacon and fry till crispy. Stir bacon into the egg, season and add to a buttered flan dish. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake. Or if you have an omlette pan that can go in an oven, I'd make frittata - same idea but you cook the eggy, bacon mixture in the pan , sprinkle with cheese and finish off under grill/in oven.
