Another who's here for the long game! 4 st 8 lbs from goal, so I'll definitely be here for the next two bootcamp at least and carrying on in between.

ilovecherries · 30/07/2017 18:55

Yep, me too. I've got around 2.5 stone before I'm a healthy BMI. I will re-evaluate a goal weight when I get there. I'm pretty much still doing hardcore BC with the occasional few rasps and the odd square of 90% chocolate. But no alcohol, no seeds, nuts etc and no bread substitutes.

Naschkatze · 30/07/2017 19:04

Hippa I'm at a weight I am happy with at the moment. I've got another 5 lbs before I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and another couple on top of that to my just before wedding, at the gym 4 times a week weight Grin However, I'm so much happier with how I feel in my clothes now than at the start of Bootcamp so I feel I can let the pressure off myself a little bit and enjoy my maternity leave (not that I haven't anyway, but you know!) I plan to stick with BClight with the occasional treat/carby food if I fancy it because I don't do well when I'm telling myself I can't have something. It makes me want it more. The end of bootcamp will mean I can eat what I like, but I won't, because I won't fancy it or have the appetite. I realise this could be a dangerous path but I know how to reign it in if needs be. I will stick to the new shopping habits and won't go back to buying biscuits, crisps, bread, pasta etc, but I might eat some of these things when we're out.

Star to everyone who is going to keep going. Can I wave virtual pom poms and banners that say 'Namaste Bitches' for you all?

Related NSV - I made DH toast this morning and I didn't want any. Not even a little bite. I thought how bland it would be and looked forward to my Greek yoghurt!

B - Greek yoghurt, tea
L - Roast beef, broccoli, cabbage and swede, mustard - is this carby? I didn't think...
D - will be broccoli and something soup from the freezer, with cheese sticks. Homemade during bootcamp so definitely LC I just can't remember what was in it!

Good luck for the final weigh in everyone!

OldBooks · 30/07/2017 19:19

Thanks pretty, 16 months is ok! I can do that Smile

ilovecherries · 30/07/2017 19:33

B: full cooked breakfast
L: nothing, out walking
S: costa coffee and square of 90% chocolate.
D: HM butter chicken with asparagus and mushrooms, stir fried Savoy cabbage and kale.

ilovecherries · 30/07/2017 19:35

Although I've been fretting a bit (I know, I know) about butter consumption, I just realised I probably eat less butter than I ate 'I can't believe it's not fecking butter' because I'm not spreading it on anything, I'm just cooking with it.

C4pinkwheels · 30/07/2017 20:05

I want to lose another one and a half stone, two would be better but I'm not sure if that's achievable.
I will be sticking to bc lite with the occasional week of strict bc. I'm totally invested in this WOE until I'm at a weight that I'm happy with.
I'm currently the lightest I've been for about seven years but still two stone heavier than on my wedding day 11 years ago.

I will be staying on this thread to continue this journey with the Namaste Bitches

ASDismynormality · 30/07/2017 20:24

Lovely to see so much positivity at the end of bootcamp with soamy planning to carry on, it's really motivating and really helps to show this is a lofestyle change and not a quick fix diet.

secretsignal · 30/07/2017 20:24

I've hit my original goal weight, but I can now see I need to lose another half a stone. I'm sticking with BC, definitely not going back to bread, cake, potatoes etc. My confidence had crept up as the weight has come off and I don't want to go back to where I was. Still going to have a glass of wine on Fri and Sat night, but other than that I'll be staying on plan.

ASDismynormality · 30/07/2017 20:25

Sorry for all the typos!

secretsignal · 30/07/2017 20:26

Well done to everyone who's gone the distance, and good luck for tomorrow's final weigh in.

PlymouthMaid1 · 30/07/2017 20:36

Well done all. I am koko as eventually I would like to lose another two stone and this woe makes me feel great. One day I will return the odd banana or bowl of porridge to the menu but can happily continue to ignore potatoes, pasta bread and rice. I dont drink much anyway so not counting the rare g and t or glass of red as a fail.

ninnando · 30/07/2017 21:06

I am still 2-3 stones to go so will carry on bootcamp. I have rediscovered a love of cooking as everything tastes so much better than it did and I am loving this WOE.
At the moment I am on holiday so won't be able to weigh for a few weeks. I am hoping for a great surprise when I finally do weigh as I am really trying to stay on track even though I am away.

Although, I think I made a massive mistake as I ate tuna steak covered in sesame seeds, are they really bad on lc? I suffered terribly after eating them but on the positive side I couldn't possibly have gained weight due to the ferocity of their expulsion!! Blush

YoLoZammo · 30/07/2017 21:30

I will koko. Got another year or two to go of steady slow weight loss. I am enjoying eating so much veg and meat and eggs. And I don't feel like I want to cheat very often at all. I've sort of got into a habit of cooking an extra portion of my evening meal to have for breakfast or lunch the next day. I rarely go anywhere without a packed lunch and water bottle with me. It takes time each evening to get it all ready but I'm used to it now. I no longer care about the stink of eggs on the train in the morning!

YoLoZammo · 30/07/2017 21:36

Plus I love you guys so will be all over the interim bc threads. You can't get rid of me that easily!

Mimosa1 · 30/07/2017 21:37

Hi all,
I definitely intend to carry on (only been at it a week or so - late joiner!) and join the next bootcamp. I've been doing BC lite as have a month old DC and planning to bootcamp properly in October. Will be able to start exercising soon (c section) so that should help the weight loss, fingers crossed.

NSV - made gingerbread dinosaurs with my toddler this afternoon and wasn't remotely tempted to eat them helps that I'm not the best baker and the 2 year old's mixing was shall we say haphazard. Previously would have scoffed a fair old few.

@biwi thank you for setting up BC Smile

starsky22 · 30/07/2017 22:08

Good luck for tomorrow everyone, I started late, but really impressed with everyone that has been here for the whole 10 weeks. I'll be carrying on with this woe too, really enjoying the food and not missing bread at all!

B sausages, mushrooms & fried egg
L chicken thigh and cauliflower cheese
D chicken passanda, lamb rogan josh, saag paneer and green beans (all home made, so know they were low carb). Small bite of onion bahji and filling from a samosa.
Said no to the naan bread, poppadoms and pudding, also didn't feel the need to go back for seconds which I previously would have done, so feeling pleased with myself.

MOIST · 30/07/2017 22:13

I'm in for the long haul. You lot are lovely.

Veryflummoxed · 30/07/2017 22:17

Leftover veg with butter and neared cheese for lunch

Dinner was curried breast if lamb with dressed green leaves, cucumber, avocado, olives, him coleslaw.

Snack a cup of hot almond milk with cream. Dh made it fir me and it was so good I ran out to check he hadn't bought the sweetened one by mistake. He hadn't. I think maybe he just put more cream in it than I do.

Bibs2014 · 30/07/2017 22:57

I'll be continuing till the end of the year as I still want to lose half a stone.

bellalurgy · 30/07/2017 23:09

I'm carrying on too. Been on this just under 6 months and almost half way to goal. Started with 6 stone to lose!!

Can't wait for the final weigh in Grin

Kleptronic · 30/07/2017 23:29

Oh. I'd like to say something pithy, but flibble. See you all on the interim thread xxx

YoLoZammo · 30/07/2017 23:33

klep flibble Grin

BIWI · 31/07/2017 07:18
