Morning campers

Here's the spreadsheet

So we start our last two weeks. Let's get really focused - think about the food you're eating, pinpoint any carb creep and eliminate that cheating!

If it helps, post what you're eating each day. Or even consider going back to strict Bootcamp for the last fortnight!

Flowers

Good luck to everyone

@ilovecherries - I feel your pain! And I hope very much that the hotel were able to make you a lovely, low carb fry up this morning

I work in HE Sayrra though not lecturing, but have an idea of what's needed and would be happy to help

C4 good on you, after the last few weeks you deserve a good time!

I could not shake this headache and had a small bag of macadamia nuts as a snack which helped, but between that and the strawberries not really a strict BC day as planned Hmm eating avocado with mozzarella and creme fraiche now, with the same for lunch tomorrow

cabbage67 · 18/07/2017 21:13

Yes BIWI Grin I agree it does sound like that, and that has actually happened once when I was editing my son's homework and he stood on the bloody laptop and deleted it!

He's a bit needy sometimes when he's not getting enough attention

Sayrra it was line 23 and column AH (I think) and the weigh in page.

Off to the naughty corner now

Thank you

SummerSazz · 18/07/2017 21:17

Sounds like an amazingly memorable day C4 and you looked amazing Smile

Lol @ poo on the spreadsheet 😁

Grah - that's mad about cabbage 😮

I have been for my BUPA healthcheck today - for all you bootcampers my cholesterol is really good - good HDL and excellent LDL. Plus diabetes risk v low. So this WOE is good for you!!

I am borderline over healthy weight and 34% fat (should be 24-28%). She said I was a bit dehydrated - water would have made me heavier Wink - so I could knock about 2% off. My waist to height ratio was fine though so the Jillian Michaels dvds have been paying off!!

2 weeks until holidays and would love to have made it a full 2 stone off. 2 lbs to go.

SayrraT · 18/07/2017 21:24

cabbage sorted it Grin obviously it wasn't you the dog that wrote "poo" then Grin Wonder who that was!!

Thanks oldbooks I'll maybe PM you in a day or two if you don't mind?

Well done SummerSazz fabulous results Star

SummerSazz · 18/07/2017 21:34

Thanks SayrraT. I'm a slow plodder but very determined 😬

SayrraT · 18/07/2017 21:41

Doesn't matter how slow you are summer look at all of your great results, healthy cholesterol, low diabetes risk, good waist:height, very very close to a healthy weight. I hope you get to your goal in time for your holiday Smile

Veryflummoxed · 18/07/2017 21:45

I know finally it was the fact that the word "poo" had been written! I hadn't noticed that. I had to go back and checkGrin

B 2 hard boiled eggs with butter and cucumber

L 2 leftover slices of belly pork (on the run)

D 3 (i only intended to have 2) LC sausages and a load of cauliflower and broccoli with butter.

Still glugging on my water. I have slipped with my water consumption.

cabbage67 · 18/07/2017 21:58

Thanks Sayrra.

I think that longingforalife was possibly unhappy with her weigh in that day!

starsky22 · 18/07/2017 22:01

Wow summer that is great! I'm sure you'll get to your target!

Had a good day, really enjoying cooking and eating some new things:
B fathead pizza
L goats cheese & courgette frittata
D chicken breast with pesto & mozzarella & asparagus

starsky22 · 18/07/2017 22:02

Oh and a teaspoon of peanut butter!!

SummerSazz · 18/07/2017 22:31

Thanks Star too - I must try the pizza - 6 months in and I still haven't!! The rest of your day's food sounds delicious too.

jim I hope you find your appetite (or the right medication!) soon - your food always sounded gorgeous and I was very jealous of your creativity.

I just remembered one of the Q's on the form which was 'how many days a week do you eat full fat dairy?'. Errrm. All of them 😂. My heat age is 4 years younger than me so clearly all my blood vessels are not clogged up with butter and yoghurt just yet!

BIWI · 18/07/2017 22:57

Great results @SummerSazz!

I don't like being drunk Grin

SashaSashays · 19/07/2017 01:02

Hi All,

I haven't posted in a while as I've been busy with interviews, meetings and all the related hell that is changing jobs.

I did the Egg Fast for 5 days and lost 7lbs! By the evening of the second day I was showing as being in ketosis too.

4lbs of that was water weight that seemed to shoot back on the minute I had a bit of crumble.

I wouldn't say I entirely stuck to it as I did allow myself chilli, spring onion and some spinach or rocket. I also didn't eat as much as it suggested. I felt full and never hungry meaning I'd have a BP Coffee and one largeish egg meal per day, then if hungry a small scrambled eggs for tea. After day 1 I wasn't hungry at all and although I do like a varied diet, didn't feel terribly bored.

I'm totally converted to the egg fast as a WOE actually. I'm planning to implement it a bit like the 5:2 diet in that I think I will do 2-3 days of egg fasting in every week. I'm convinced it helps me keep my appetite and sugar cravings in check. Its basically the best and most committed I've felt to LCHF since starting it.

Thanks to EF I'm 1.5 lbs off my second stone threshold.

If anyone is interested a typical day looked like this for me on EF:

11:00 am - BP Coffee. 2-3 Boiled Eggs mashed with butter on bed of spinach or rocket
5:00 pm - 2 Eggs scrambled with spring onion, cheese and chilli and handful of rocket

I tried Fathead Pizza and quite enjoyed it!

Tomorrow I'm going out for dinner and have found a few relatively low carb options. I won't be having dessert either which is unheard of for me.

Userwithoutaname · 19/07/2017 01:58

Could someone tell me if what I've eaten today is ok? Maybe I'm eating too much ...

B .. 2 cold chipolata 97% meat sausages and coffee with cream
L .. chicken breast with skin cooked in a casserole with leeks, spinach, courgette, broccoli and aubergine, a plate full .. Lots of butter melted on top
D .. half an m&s prawn cocktail
S .. 4 Brazil nuts

SayrraT · 19/07/2017 07:56

It looks good to me user I guess you were still full at dinner after your lunch? Doesn't look like too much to me.

ilovecherries · 19/07/2017 08:00

A picture paints a 1000 words. I may actually have cried. Can't believe that after all these years I am finally back in the 100 club! Only half a stone more and I am no longer obese. And yesterday I fitted into size 16 trousers! Stiller ding a 20 on top because of norms though, but that is huge on shoulders and waist. It's given me renewed determination to see 13 stone something by the end of bootcamp. So freaking happy Grin

ilovecherries · 19/07/2017 08:02

still needing a 20 on top because of norks

SummerSazz · 19/07/2017 08:07

Thanks BIWI I was very chuffed - had I had it done 6 months ago it would have been a very different story I'm sure, so thankyou to you and the other committed BC's for keeping me on the straight and narrow. I don't post much but the weigh ins and meal ideas have been invaluable. Thankyou again 🙂🙂

ilovecherries woo hoo!!!!! It's such an achievement, well done 👏 I'm battling to cross from 11 to 10 stone something. Was 11 0.1lbs this morning!!

SayrraT · 19/07/2017 08:07

Grin fantastic cherries Grin

Bibs2014 · 19/07/2017 08:14

Well done cherries! You sound so happy Grin

NamelessEnsign · 19/07/2017 08:18

Congratulations summer! C4 you looked stunning yesterday - so glad you had a fab day.

Great to have you back jimminy!

I have a new low this morning, dead on a pound. I am continuing with an egg heavy/IF way of eating because I really really want to go under the next stone (2lb away). I am desperate not to bounce up this week!

ragz134 · 19/07/2017 08:25

NSV - in theatre yesterday afternoon watching eye surgery and I fit in size medium scrubs! Wore the large bottoms (in photo) in the end as they were longer, but I got the mediums on! Last time my thighs would only fit in an XL. Very chuffed with that.
