Morning campers

Here's the spreadsheet

So we start our last two weeks. Let's get really focused - think about the food you're eating, pinpoint any carb creep and eliminate that cheating!

If it helps, post what you're eating each day. Or even consider going back to strict Bootcamp for the last fortnight!

Flowers

Good luck to everyone

@ilovecherries - I feel your pain! And I hope very much that the hotel were able to make you a lovely, low carb fry up this morning

Secret huge congrats. You are where we all want to be. And will be.

klep well done on your chazzer finds! Love that word.

jim fantastic willpower and self control. You should be so proud of yourself in the waffle house. And you actually talk to people at the gym??? . Wouldn't happen at mine!

Welcome chocolate.

starsky22 · 17/07/2017 23:32

just catching up, got distracted by some aibu threads!
Also going to make an effort to post my food each day as it helps me stay on track:
b none
l fathead pizza
d chicken thighs, creamy spinach & runner beans

Userwithoutaname · 18/07/2017 00:06

I really need to start posting what I've eaten to help me stay in track.

B .. 1 x creamy coffee and 1 x coffee with a tiny dash of whole fat milk
L .. 2 rashers fried bacon 2 fried eggs and a few fried mushrooms
D .. fried pork shoulder steak, leeks braised in butter and a huge salad with lettuce and cucumber and hm dressing of olive oil and white wine vinegar with salt and pepper.
S .. 2 x babybel and a tsp of peanut butter

I don't think I'm drinking enough water, only had a litre today but had lots of mugs of black decaf instant coffee.

GoodBadOrIndifferent · 18/07/2017 06:42

chocolate I'll pm you. I'm on nights at the moment so might be a few days before I can dig them out

cathyandclare · 18/07/2017 07:10

Signing back in,had a busy time with work so away from the thread but have been keeping on.
Well done to the losers, fab stuff Secret can I ask how you've been eating as you approach target?

Managed a much better week, two egg based meals a day and one meat and salad or veg. Lost the 5 pounds of bloat, back into ketosis. I hover between 6 and 7lb weight loss, which I've been doing since after the second week of Bootcamp.

I think I need another strict week to try and break through that. I'd like to lose another 5 or 6 pounds ideally, but 3 would do.
Yesterday:
B: Flaxseed and egg pancake/toast thing
Lunch: Omelette
Dinner: Chicken, bacon and avocado salad

Today will be
Brunch: Keto muffin, creamy coffee
Dinner: Out, probably chicken caesar salad (no croutons)

cabbage67 · 18/07/2017 07:23

I'm sorry, but my pesky mutt trod on the laptop and has touched the forbidden blues cells!

OldBooks · 18/07/2017 07:44

Awful headache this morning. Being a bit carby with a breakfast of strawberries and cream to try and shift it.

Lunch will be microwave scrambled eggs.

For tea I have 5 avocados that have all gone ripe at once, any ideas!?

ASDismynormality · 18/07/2017 08:08

oldbooks. Can avocados be frozen?

jim. That woman sounds so nasty. She's the kind of woman that put people off even trying to go to the gym but I didn't think they even existed - I thought people just concentrated on themselves!

No change in the scales here from yesterday. This bootcamp thread seems to have got back on track so that's really helping with the motivation. KOKO

PlymouthMaid1 · 18/07/2017 08:15

Sounds like tea needs to be guacamole.

SayrraT · 18/07/2017 08:18

Oh no cabbage you'll have to be banished from BC! Shock

I'm fix it when I'm in work later. Do you know which page it was?

SayrraT · 18/07/2017 08:21

I agree ASD we all seem to be back on track which is good. I'm going to continue to post food each day as that does help.

Today I stood on the scales and accidentally selected the setting for my OH. If I was his height I'd be 27% body fat compared with my actual 40%....how can I grow an extra 5 inches? Grin

BIWI · 18/07/2017 08:22

That sounds like "the dog ate my homework"!

OP posts:
OldBooks · 18/07/2017 08:30

Mmmm Plymouth guac spread on salad leaves with halloumi strips sounds good.

Asd Google tells me you can freeze avocados but they will go mushy so only good for dips etc afterwards

Sayrra I have the same problem, DH is 6'4 and skinny as a pole, he can't eat enough. I always long to donate him some body fat, he looks gaunt sometimes

SayrraT · 18/07/2017 08:50

Yep, OldBooks mine is really skinny too. Though recently he has put weight on which is good, he now weighs just over 9st.

He makes me laugh with him eating high fat high carb and me lchf. Last night he offered me a deconstructed cinnamon swirl. I asked him what part of that does he think I can eat? The cinnamon apparently!

Kleptronic · 18/07/2017 09:09

Veryflummoxed we go to Watchet every year, love it, we're going tomorrow on the steam strain, the market's on. I'd really like to go on a boat trip from there but can't bring myself to kill the fish, or sea puppers as DS calls them.

Ah the Quantock Hills, the harbour, the Contains Art artists, the pub on the front - I was talking to a young woman who lived there for a while and she says the shine rubs off, but I don't believe her!

Veryflummoxed · 18/07/2017 09:36

Glad it's not just me. Dh finds it a little depressing. We both love the steam train though.

JiminnyCricket · 18/07/2017 10:16

MOrning all :)

Still no desire to eat. It's over a week now and I'm getting a bit worried. I've been drinking meal replacement protein shakes for breakfast and lunch (with 30g flaxseed in my morning one to up the fat content), then my evening meals are food but very small portions and i'm having to force myself to eat them which seems really wrong.

Last week I tried not having the protein to see if my appitite increased without it but I just couldn't face food at all. I didn't even eat a proper evening meal that day Confused

I NEED food because I'm still training and this can't be ok. My shakes come in at about 350 cals with the flaxseed and 200ish without it (4.5g carb, 18.1g fat, 28.6g protein with flax in it and 3.5g carb, 6.2g fat and 22g protein without the flax) so it's not like I'm super low on fuel, they are keeping me ticking over fine but i hate feeling like this Sad I keep putting off my evening meal for as long as I can and eating is becoming a bloody ordeal. I've even had a bag of macademia nuts in my bag for a week in case I suddenly get hungry and want to eat something but they havent been touched either.

I tried peanut butter ( I LOVE peanut butter) on a teaspoon but that made me gag too.

Do i need to go to the doctors again? Do we think this is the fluoxitine and it will settle down or should I get this looked at?

Cherrypi · 18/07/2017 10:24

Hmm I'd go to the doctors Jiminny sounds like disordered eating. 3lb blip has gone and down 0.5lb from last week's weight now. Treated myself to some coyo and some protein ice cream that was fairly low carb.

ASDismynormality · 18/07/2017 11:08

jiminny. I think it can take a while (few weeks) to settle down but if you are worried go to the Drs.

StuntNun · 18/07/2017 11:51

Jiminny maybe you need to try a different AD if the side effects are that bad. Have you had anything in the past that has worked for you? I didn't like Fluoxetine because I felt crap all the time on it but Citalopram was much better.

I'm really enjoying intermittent fasting. I'm having my breakfast now after an 18-hour fast. If anyone is interested in finding out more then come and join us on the low carb intermittent fasting threadd*.

JiminnyCricket · 18/07/2017 12:33

I don't feel crap, I actually feel pretty lively and the only side effect I'm getting is this bloody food thing. I too am concerned about disordered eating or getting into bad habits of not eating all day then binging at night. At the moment I'm not eating much at night because even then I just dont want it. It's the feel of solid food in my mouth that's bothering me Confused

ClearEyesFullHearts · 18/07/2017 13:12

I did not eat twenty fried eggs for breakfast it was two. And just why the veg I didn't have much of was Christmas veg I have no idea.

Bless this thread.

starsky22 · 18/07/2017 13:43

Trust your instincts Jim and if you're worried about it, then go see the dr

starsky22 · 18/07/2017 13:45

Goats cheese frittata for lunch:
