Morning campers

Here's the spreadsheet

So we start our last two weeks. Let's get really focused - think about the food you're eating, pinpoint any carb creep and eliminate that cheating!

If it helps, post what you're eating each day. Or even consider going back to strict Bootcamp for the last fortnight!

Flowers

Good luck to everyone

@ilovecherries - I feel your pain! And I hope very much that the hotel were able to make you a lovely, low carb fry up this morning

Hi chocolate i had this with DS. My diabetic team at the time got me on insulin very quickly for being in ketosis despite perfect blood sugars. Maybe have a word with them about triggers when you next see them?
TBF I was also losing weight pretty quickly. Not ideal in the third trimester, I ended pregnancy at 6lb lighter than my booking weight before DS was born.

GoodBadOrIndifferent · 17/07/2017 17:27

Also chocolate cowers from BIWIs stick i have recipes for low GI sweet things that were a godsend when all I wanted was sugar in the last couple of weeks. They didn't change my blood sugar a bit and I was insanely carb sensitive. Give me a shout if wanted

Shock I forgot about my biggest NSV!!

Yesterday DP and I were both at home so we went out for lunch. Our chosen restaurant was closed but the waffle house next door was open and DP has wanted to go there for AGES. I said ok but when I looked at the menu it was literally just panini's, waffles smothered in all kinds of amazing sounding sugary stuff and then "freak-shakes" which were milkshakes with doughnuts on them and all sorts.

Friends, I had a black coffee (because they had no cream Hmm) while DP devoured a panini, a waffle AND a milkshake [sock]

Then I had a creamy coffee at the pub later on Grin

Hello all.
There are some great results on here.
secret very well done on reaching your target. What an achievement Star
I have lost 3 of the lbs that I gained on holiday, so I am pleased about that.
B: Didn't have chance
L: Egg mayo (that was for breakfast) and chicken salad with cheese and mayo.
D: Meatballs.

No snacks and not enough water.

Imstyledilemma · 17/07/2017 17:36

jiminny* I've been in one of those desert places.
If it's any consolation, your DP probably felt really sick afterwards (there's too much sugar and syrup in everything)
So at least you saved yourself feeling like that.

OldBooks · 17/07/2017 17:53

I had a nice NSV this afternoon, saw a friend who hasn't seen me since the start of BC and she said she noticed a big difference straight away. Nice to have it noticed Smile

StuntNun · 17/07/2017 17:54

I am anxiously awaiting my first Instant Pot attempt of pork chops and veggies. This is what it looked like going in.

HemanOrSheRa · 17/07/2017 18:36

Ooh exciting Stunt Smile.

I've just had chilli with a dollop of FF yogurt and grated cheese onto and a salad with oily dressing. I had a few raspberries with cream too. No snacks today. Just over 2l water.

Have you been into Watchet Klep? The harbour is supposed to be nice. I've never been despite living only an hour and a half away Blush!

Cherrypi · 17/07/2017 18:45

Glad it's not just me Grah. There were no toilet visits involved in the random decrease too.

Duckiesprettycrazy · 17/07/2017 19:02

According to the scales I've lost 2lbs this week, which is surprising as I have been way off plan Hmm. Back on it now as I'd really like to lose more by the end of this boot camp, although planning to continue with this WOE as much as I can.

Jim you are good, I would definitely have been tempted by waffles!

PlymouthMaid1 · 17/07/2017 19:15

Raga I made a courgette and blue cheese soup when I had a glut. You can also make a kind of pickled version to eat like relish.

Veryflummoxed · 17/07/2017 19:16

Klep and Heman I love Watchet. It was where I used to stay for holidays with my granny (a very long by time ago) so I may be tainted by nostalgia, but I find it a very interesting place to just wander around with the Marina and esplanade. Also a couple of interesting beaches, lots of fossils.

ChocolateTorte · 17/07/2017 19:49

Thanks so much for the advice everyone.
Goodbadorindifferent - I would love those suggestions/recipes; should I PM you? Sorry, I'm pretty new to Mumsnet, not too sure how things are done.

SayrraT · 17/07/2017 20:05

Wow jim I'm very impressed!

Hmm, my salt and vinegar pork scratchings just arrived, they are yum Grin

JiminnyCricket · 17/07/2017 20:07

Uuuuuuirgh gym asshats Angry

Spin class tonight, usual crowd but a couple of newer folk one of whom came to sit next to me. Lovely girl, we got chatting about nutrition and the transform program etc, she did transform a couple of years ago, dropped 6 stone but has put 8 back on Sad

Girl the other side of us overheard the conversation and piped up with 'that's because no diets work, if you're fat you're fat, no point in pretending it's not the case, 95% of diets fail etc etc' she wasn't particularly fit and healthy looking, not massively overweight but not super duper fit or anything either.

So I disagreed with her and said basically the great thing about that statistic is that someone has to be the other 5% and that I reckon The 5% are the people who make meaningful change, not just 'go on a diet'... then she continued until my PT turned up by telling us how little she eats Hmm

Afterwards my PT said this girl is a nightmare, she's been trying to get into transform for 6 months and has been suspended twice from the gym because of people complaining she fat shames other people in sessions.

She did spend the entire time during spin staring at the new girl next to me and eye rolling whenever new girl sat down to early or slowed down or whatever. New girl did way better than I did on my first session and I told her so at the end, she didn't look happy at all so I don't know f she'll be back. She's booked into Wednesday morning spin so I'll see if she turns up Sad

PT is chuffed with my progress in weight training and spin but worried I'm over stretching myself a bit. I disagree but she's made me promise on Wednesday to duck out of my evening session early if I'm struggling Hmm not going to happen!

Naschkatze · 17/07/2017 20:33

Jim I hate people like that at gyms... and those who think they've more right to be there than others! Hmm

Weird food today. I'm struggling to keep up with 3 meals at the moment as I'm often out over lunchtime. But lack of appetite on this woe means it's not a problem. It's quite liberating to not worry about getting hungry!

B - cup of tea.
Snacks - half avocado, piece of bacon, slice of cheese. Coffee with cream.
D - Chicken, cream, pesto thing. With courgette, leeks and feta.

SayrraT · 17/07/2017 20:42

Need to record my food for the day.

B: eggs in a cup, coffee with cream
L: chicken salad, cucumber, baby plum tomatoes, pepper sticks
S: pork scratchings, mini cheese
D: duck breast, asparagus, cauliflower

Veryflummoxed · 17/07/2017 20:44

Glad you're back Jim and that you sound much happier.

MOIST · 17/07/2017 20:45

Evening all. Just in from work and catching up.

B. Cream coffee
S. Fried chicken
L. Mousakka
S. Baby bell and a mini pepperami
D. Cheese omelet.

Not enough water today. I've lost my decent work bottle.

Veryflummoxed · 17/07/2017 21:16

Whoops. Forgot to post my food and I'm determined to do so for the rest of Bootcamp

B twenty fried eggs
L bellypork and green salad, lots of oily dressing.
D belly pork and a slice of cheese.
Oh not much Christmas veg.
Water black and mint tea.

Veryflummoxed · 17/07/2017 21:19

I did not eat twenty fried eggs for breakfast it was two. And just why the veg I didn't have much of was Christmas veg I have no idea.

littlebillie · 17/07/2017 21:21

Jim that gym woman sounds horrible

SayrraT · 17/07/2017 21:22

very GrinGrin I could do with a crying laughing face for your post. 20 fried eggs Grin

littlebillie · 17/07/2017 21:23

So when will the next BC be?

StuntNun · 17/07/2017 22:57

Little the next Bootcamp is usually in the run up to Christmas but we all just keep going in between.
