Morning campers

Here's the spreadsheet

So we start our last two weeks. Let's get really focused - think about the food you're eating, pinpoint any carb creep and eliminate that cheating!

If it helps, post what you're eating each day. Or even consider going back to strict Bootcamp for the last fortnight!

Flowers

Good luck to everyone

@ilovecherries - I feel your pain! And I hope very much that the hotel were able to make you a lovely, low carb fry up this morning

Loving reading all the NSVs!

But help me, BCers, I need help!

I feel miserable and CBA with it today. I'm bored of the food, I'm going out tonight and the only LC thing is halloumi salad - I don't want salad, I want fish & chips! I'm drinking too so salad is not going to line my stomach!

I have less to lose so I do this and (try to) stick to 1200 cals as any more I gain weight.

I need to stick with this as I have a wedding in a few weeks and I want to look nice for it. Yes, I have definitely trimmed down, but not enough for other people to notice.

HELP!!

So far I have had blueberries with a couple of tablespoons of cream which did not fill me up so I just got egg, bacon and tomato from the cafe.

bibs that menu looks delicious. Can't you have just about any mains if you ask for salad or veg instead of chips? Maybe relax on the veg and allow yourself onion rings or peas - better than chips and won't make you feel yuck tomorrow?

JiminnyCricket · 21/07/2017 11:03

Bibs there's loads you can have Confused

Pork crackling sticks with apple & sage jelly 4.00 - just dont eat much of the jelly

Lemon & thyme infused olives 3.25 (VE)

To Share - Rosemary & garlic baked Camembert served with warm sourdough and celery 11.00 (V) - Just dipt he celery and whoever you share with gets all the bread

Caesar salad with chargrilled chicken breast, gem lettuce, anchovies, olives and Caesar dressing, topped with shaved cheese, bacon
and toasted sourdough croutons 10.00 - just ask for no croutons

Handmade British beef burger in a brioche bun with bacon and melted cheese, served with a gherkin and fries - ask for no chips and salad instead, then dont eat the bun.

Carved ham, fried free-range eggs and triple-cooked chips 9.75 - just ask for no chips and a side salad/ colslaw instead

There's even a cheese board you could have for pudding! Sandham's crumbly Lancashire and St.Helen's Farm goat's cheese, served with
celery, savoury biscuits and red onion chutney 7.75 (V) - just ask for no biscuits!

Personally, I'd have the baked camembert to myself and ask them to give me extra celery instead of the bread as a main course Blush and I'd order pork crackling sticks from the starters menu as a side dish...

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 11:04

Jim - I forgot to add I am not a big cheese eater! I like halloumi and the odd bit of cheese on pizza but not much else.

JiminnyCricket · 21/07/2017 11:07

bibs in that case I'd probably have the ham and egg without the chips Grin

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 11:07

Old - I think that's the point, i am sick of salad after eating it daily for 3 months.

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 11:09

Thanks jim, I know I sound whiny and ungrateful, I need a kick up the arse boost!

JiminnyCricket · 21/07/2017 11:11

Bibs we all do sometimes :)

Can I ask why you're eating so much salad though? why are you eating it daily? Are you running out of lunch ideas other than a salad?

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 11:15

I eat salad cause I like it LOL. But I am getting sick of it, I do need to change things up! I am full today from breakfast still so wont have lunch till later - any ideas what to have?

I do like this diet WOE so don't want to give it up.

NigellasGuest · 21/07/2017 11:44

Wow BIWI - Bordeaux! That's one beautiful city!

Does anyone have any ideas for LC smoothies? Google is giving me American ones with weird protein powders I've never heard of ....

prettybird · 21/07/2017 11:48

Would FF yoghurt, raspberries/strawberries/blueberries and cream to "thin" work?

prettybird · 21/07/2017 11:55

Bibs - if you're not wanting salad (as I'd gave chosen the chicken Caesar salad and asked for no croutons), then why not ask for the ham and eggs but with some cavolo nero rather than the chips.

Or, if you've otherwise followed this WOE today, have the chicken Kiev but without the mash. The breadcrumb coating shouldn't be too much of an issue - especially if you have lots of water. And all that lovely garlic butter inside should help satiate you Smile

NigellasGuest · 21/07/2017 11:59

Thanks PrettyBird - I was thinking berries, cream and Total yogurt but wondering if there's anything more interesting to add!

JiminnyCricket · 21/07/2017 11:59

Are you near a super market? the chicken off the hot counter is a good go-to lunch, or you could get a chicken and spread it with tomato puree, stick some chorizo on it and top with cheese - chicken pizza!

OldBooks · 21/07/2017 12:02

bibs ask for lots of lovely veg instead of salad? I do know what you mean though, I did say to DH yesterday that I couldn't eat another cheese omelette!

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 12:06

Thanks Jim, pretty and old for taking the time out to help me! I'm sure I'll be ok, just needed a moan.

Not hungry yet which helps!

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 12:09

Old - it does get a bit samey doesn't it? But I do love the food so will KOKO.

prettybird · 21/07/2017 12:23

Bibs - you could add in some cocoa if you like chocolate. What about some low carb peanut butter if you want to up the protein?

prettybird · 21/07/2017 12:24

Sorry - that should have been addressed to Nigellasguest not bibs Blush

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 13:19

Renewed motivation - went and tried on new clothes and don't look hideous! Go me!

ragz134 · 21/07/2017 13:29

ilovecherries I noticed my camel toe had gone the other day, when I wore a pair of trousers that usually cause that issue. Great NSV!
I ordered new work trousers in a 14 as my 16s are too big and I had to send the 14 back as they weren't any smaller... That, or I've shrunk the 16s. They are stretchy, but still pleased to be reordering a 12!

OldBooks · 21/07/2017 13:37

bibs no probs! I think it gets samey if you let it, it's so easy to fall into a rut because you can't make/don't have time to experiment with recipes. I know I have fallbacks for busy days that are quick and easy!

OldBooks · 21/07/2017 13:51

Oh and speaking of quick and easy here's a fsve of mine. Microwave bag of brocc and cauli. Once microwaved put in oven liberally covered in fat and cheese. Leave to get crispy.

Bibs2014 · 21/07/2017 13:54

My quick and easy is chorizo and halloumi salad!
