Morning all

Flowers

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once more

So the finish line is almost in sight. I see from the last thread that some of you have been struggling to stay on track - just three more weeks to go, so stay focused.

That 'it's only one piece of bread/one glass of beer' moment really isn't worth it. Been there, got the t-shirt.

If you're bored with the food - there are two things that could help you. Firstly, think back to the last time you were doing a low calorie/low fat diet - how awful was it to have to scavenge the shelves looking for something low calorie enough, and how often were you eating food that didn't actually taste that nice, but delivered only on the basis of being low calorie? Rice cakes that might as well be polystyrene ceiling tiles, for example!

And then go and read the recipe thread for some inspiration, and find something new to cook. There's nothing on there that's difficult to do.

I'd also say that I see a lot of you are trying to recreate things that are high carb - pizza or bread, for example. These things are very unlikely to be the same, or as nice, as the high carb versions. And all the time you're trying to recreate something you're missing, you're just reminding yourself that you're missing something!

So try not to do this, but focus on things that are beautifully low carb and that you can enjoy for their own taste and benefits.

Here's to a successful week for us all.

Clear I like the top and trousers outfit. I think it'll be more comfortable for a whole day. It looks cool and floaty and it is something I would wear (that may put you off)Smile. Why does everyone here have such shapely arms? Mine are like Christmas hams Envy. It's not fair .

Well, saw 211lb Saturday meaning almost out of obese bmi and into Fatty. But 55 mile bike ride 7 litres of water and a ice cream ( lowest carb in the gas station 40 miles from nowhere) in 31c was 216 this morning. Fortunately like some others, I weigh almost daily and have learnt water retention, carbytwatdom, Can rocket a weigh number up.

But NSV -- loose bike shorts non-gaping shirts, pockets in trousers are flat or actually loose. Means woe is still working. Just gotta drain the glycol /water store.

C4 Nowhere as bad as you but I have backstabbers trying to bully an alienate me. I was amazingly, over the top sickly nice to them.
Mainly, coz it pissed them off but in the end it just got 2nd nature and they didn't bother me. Which I think upset them more as seeing a emotional response from their behavior and hate was what they are after.
You have yourself and DH to worry about, long term. So hug him and enjoy him because the warts will eventually be off and leaving just you and your DH to cuddle and chat about the rabbits and garden.

Have a great day and Namaste Bitches

With the shirt, I would put the Breton dress first and the trousers last.

Thank you all for your opinions! I'm going to try different bras as well, there's a real fitting problem with the tops on two of the looks and I don't want to be spilling out in any direction. #flippingtits 😡

Believe me, my goal weightbwardrobe is significantly different from what I'm wearing these days. Needs must, etc. KOKO.

ClearEyesFullHearts - I like the first option best, but I would put a belt with it to pull the waist in a little. It doesn't have to be tight, just to give a bit of shape.

But, to be honest, you look great in all three options!

C4 - I would like to read your post - either put it up here or pm me...? (Sorry, I know you don't really know me so you don't have to, I'm just concerned.)

You are amazing. As is your daughter. Congratulations to her! I hope you find something to wear that you feel amazing in, and have a wonderful day with her.

How are your rabbits? I think you've posted photos of them before. I'll try and get some of mine up here later. My four wee ones turned one a few weeks ago - between them and their mother they keep me entertained! I hope you get the same from yours.

C4 I'm so glad you've had some tea. I'm a huge tea lover and in my opinion it can work wonders for the soul. It is of course entirely up to you whether you repost, I read it last night but if you do, I think you might find that you get many more helpful and supportive replies from those who missed it.

C4 your PA sounds ace and your baby girl has done so well.

Starsky well done for normal BMI, what an achievement!

Clear 4lb is amazing, what were you doing to get that loss? I like the green & navy maxi without the shirt but the trousers with the shirt. No help, sorry.

OldBooks what Parkrun were you doing? PM me if you like. I want to start going, I'm registered and everything, but I'm such a wuss that I don't want to do it on my own.

Today has been weird, food wise. Didn't plan properly, so ended up eating random stuff & not enough veg.
B - scrambled eggs & ham (finished the chorizo and not buying any more as we're away at the end of the week and go on holiday on monday)
L - some 20% fat beef mince, paprika, garlic, avocado & a random stalk of celery
D - bought another tray of cooked chicken thighs & salad to work, so will be that with mayo.

C4. Congratulations to your DD, it's going to be a very proud moment for you. RE Venlafaxine, that's what I was taking and weaned off it over the course of three months this time. It really wasn't as bad as I expected it to be especially as I was in maximum dose. The first time I took it many years ago I stopped taking it without weaning (as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test) and don't remember any withdrawals that time.

Oh god, there's a Cambridge dieter sitting next to me at work and it's bloody killing me.

She never bloody shuts up about how it's "the only way to get into keeeeenosis"... i think she means ketosis Hmm and how slowing your metabolism down means you can survive on less food and therefore lose weight without being hungry... WTF. Her 'coach' has told her this apparently... that's not even possible! your metabolism is responsible for fat burn, so by slowing it it just means you have to eat less food otherwise you gain weight Confused

She's eating 800 calories a day. A DAY. It's horrific.

AAAARGH i just want to pour double cream into her shake... i have some in the work fridge..

She's been trying to get me on it all day by telling me how much weight she's lost.. she's dropped 4 stone in 4 months Shock.. she's about the size I am now so that's definitely possible but she's given up food all together, just eats the cambridge 'packs'.. what on earth is that about??

I tried to chat to her about LCHF and talked about the fact I've been in ketosis now for 5(ish) months.. she's adamant I can't possibly be in ketosis because you can't be without the 'stuff they put in the cambridge packs'... ARGH. She genuinely thinks they put in a chemical that puts you in ketosis.. how does this even happen??

It's like she's honed in on me because she can see a fellow fat person and assumes I'll want to know all about her incredible diet and wont be told there's another way Hmm

ARGH.

Clear 4lb is amazing, what were you doing to get that loss?

Hippa, alcohol. Even though I was carb friendly with the booze (either clear spirits with no carbs or white wine at 2-3 carbs) my body was burning the alcohol before the fat, as it does.

That's my theory, anyway.

Shock for normal BMI. That's bloody great.

Deffo the trousers. They look lovely. Have fun.

Star for C4s graduating DD. Amazing achievement.

Jim. Please don't waste your double cream on the Cambridge twat. Just be ready with lchf wisdom this time next year when she has put her 4 stone plus more back on.

I've taken some diazepam with the blessing of my respiratory consultant, it can depress respiratory system. I need it for contracture spasms but also take it for anxiety. I can't leave the safety of my house without it. I'm feeling much better still haven't got out of bed and haven't eaten yet. I'm trying to dig deep and find the real me under the sadness so I'm going through the new thread and giving back to my namaste bitches.
I haven't weighed because I don't want to risk any more sadness. I'm going to reply individually to everyone but won't be able to do it all in one post.

PA is getting in more help so that she can devote more time to helping me with my recovery and training for GNR2019 and I can get my home back to how it should look with someone to do all the cleaning and ironing and some extra support for me so that I have help getting up and dressed on the days she's not here.

BIWI thank you for the thread and the kindness you've shown me.

Hippy congrats on the loss and the pb, run for me, I used to love running, I can't do it anymore but thinking of someone mentally taking me on a run cheers me up. Do you listen to music while you run?

Littlebillie I once lost 14lbs really quickly by popping out my third baby, he weighed 11lbs15oz and the placenta was enormous. That was easy, you did it the hard way respect lady.

Duckies dig deep, a loss is a loss and if weighing every day is right for you then do it. Years ago when I did Atkins the advice was to weigh every day and measure twice a week because it gave a trend.

Oldbooks cook some chicken to keep in the fridge, make some sauces, my favourite is cream cheese, cream & fresh herbs. Courgettes are at their best right now, spiralise them, pop in some butter with lots of pepper. 10 minute dinner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and friendship you've shown me. I will pm you

Cherripi wow you're an incredible loser. Smile

Swlondon well done have a stick of celery on me.

I think DH has been doing some thinking and talking, skid has just come into the bedroom and asked if I would like a cup of tea and is there anything else he can get me. I love him to bits, he was 2 when I moved in with DH and I miss him so much.

I might even get out of bed and go and visit my bunnies when I come off the ventilator.

She is an incredible young lady, it's taken her five years to complete her chemistry degree because she has been very very ill. She has an autoimmune condition and is the person who created from scratch my beautiful garden

I remember seeing pics of your beautiful garden! I think it was way back in Week 1 or possibly Week 2. I was well jealous! Smile
And yes, post your post again.
I did read it, but I will gladly read it again.

I love the turquoise dress cleareyes. But they're all lovely outfits. You don't need the shirt.

I'm making fathead pizza tonight!! First time making it. Quite exciting. I've had really overwhelming feelings this weekend about binging. My brain has been a sneaky fucker 'hey as a reward for not binging, can i have some ice cream now?' Grin yeah sure, brain. Nice try.

Anyway i feel so proud of not having done so. It's taken every tool I have. I've really fought it. I'm not quite out of the woods yet but it really feels amazing not to have given in. Like i'm the one in charge.

Clear, how about a little denim jacket, or something similar (very lightweight) to go with the first, or last dress?
I've seen people wearing little denim jackets with long dresses and it looks really good.

Photos of my lot just because!

A visit to see the bunnies sounds like a great plan. No doubt they will tell you they haven't been fed in ever such a long time (i.e. Forever)! Or is it only my lot that are permanently on the scrounge?

Glad to hear DH has had a word with skids. Hopefully turnaround in behaviour will continue.
