Morning campers!

Here's the spreadsheet

Some good losses reported already this morning!

Four weeks left, so we could still see a good half stone disappear if we're vigilant.

The hot weather looks like it's disappearing this week, so hopefully anyone still struggling with water retention should find some relief.

But good luck to us all

Ugh my tonsils are nasty and I feel rotten. Unlikely to be tonsillitis as I would feel much worse but annoying.

HemanOrSheRa · 26/06/2017 17:22

Thanks Stunt. It was only 2 slices from a 400g small loaf. I just had to have something. I'm currently sat in the car feeling sorry for myself while DS is in his activity. I usually walk the dog and then go and watch the last 20 mins or so. No way I can today. Bleugh. Still, DS is happy - I've promised him Maccy D's on the way home as I can't face cooking for him.

I'll do Dry Bootcamp with you Clear. I did have a couple of wines over the weekend. In fact I'm going to not going to have any more booze until we go on holiday on 14th August. So there Grin.

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 26/06/2017 17:23

StuntNun did you weigh after the epic poo? 'cause that and the water in the middle of the night was probably more than 2lb.

YOLO glad I'm not the only one finding weighing multiple times a week/day interesting. seeing big ups and downs in a single day is a good indicator of water retention and as long as I see a lower number, sometime during the week I'm happy.

CaptainBraandPants · 26/06/2017 17:25

Adalind and wombat thanks for the reality check. You are right and I know that. Feeling better about it tonight.
C4 you definitely look slimmer in the second picture. You also have a waist. I am always envious of people with a waist.
cabbage it is hard when we don't get the results we want. Have you posted your food so BIWI can critique it? Flowers
OldBooks I haven't been on the spreadsheet since day one. I'll go on later to put in this mornings loss, but it is easy to avoid.
Jiminny hope your Dad is ok. Flowers What are you going to buy with your £20 £5? Grin
Welcome ninnando
Heman toast when you are vomiting is fine. Hope you feel better soon.

Having a good day after my despondent start. Got some mince which I am definitely not going to eat raw so stuffed cabbage casserole on the menu for tonight.
DS1 is doing work experience with me this week, he has now realised that work is actually hard! Grin He also has new found respect for nurses after being on a ward with one this afternoon. He forgot to bring his packed lunch this morning and now realises why I always take a packed lunch after seeing how expensive and not particularly nice the food in the hospital shop was.

CaptainBraandPants · 26/06/2017 17:26

Clear I'll do dry BC, too. Although, tbh, I don't drink much. I had drinks last weekend when we were in London, but I think that is the only time I have drank this BC.

SayrraT · 26/06/2017 17:29

goodbad you've got a lot of dairy in there, at each meal, try without (or just less) and see how that goes.

My tonsils are also sore and swollen Smile

Asmoto · 26/06/2017 17:34

2lb off for me this week which makes a stone Smile. Still a long way off a healthy BMI but really pleased nonetheless.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 26/06/2017 17:45

Stunt say what now? How did you get scurvy?!

Clear I'll do dry bootcamp with you

cabbage67 · 26/06/2017 17:48

Thanks Captain I have listed food for BIWI or others to critique

Yesterdays food:
B: one fried egg, 2 rashers bacon and fried mushrooms (in butter)
L: courgetti with some pesto stirred through and a sprinkling of parmesan
D: roast lamb, roast celeriac, baby corn, cabbage with butter

Today:

B: Bullet proof coffee
L: cod fillet with some pesto stirred through and 4 baby toms, sprinkling of parmesan. Spinach thrown in and some salad
D: bolognaise made with one 1 tin of toms between four of us. Courgetti cooked in butter

3-4 litres water both days

shittymctwatface · 26/06/2017 18:03

What's bullet proof coffee like? And does it make your bowls explode?!!

ninnando · 26/06/2017 18:05

wombattoo I've found it the easiest diet I have ever done. I lost 4 lbs the first week and 3 last week. I am now about to enter the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 but I have read everyone's posts so I am prepared for it to slow down.

This thread has been amazing, inspirational and motivating. You are all so encouraging.

AdalindSchade · 26/06/2017 18:07

Bulletproof coffee is fine. It tastes like creamy coffee with a slightly different texture and smell. It's not bad. And no bowel explosion!

wombattoo · 26/06/2017 18:16

nin Wow. 7lb in 2 weeks is fantastic. Well done. I'm sure you'll get through the next few weeks. Good luck

OldBooks · 26/06/2017 18:17

Here's my slow cooked beef mince (fried off with shallots and garlic before putting into slow cooker) layered with slices of aubergine and courgette. I can't remember who suggested putting stock over it (C4?) But I mixed a little marigold stock with creme fraiche and cheddar cheese and poured it over. And when I licked the spoon it was delicious. Is marigold stock mixed with crème fraiche and drunk a thing? Because it should be

Naschkatze · 26/06/2017 18:18

Clear I'll happily join you for Dry Bootcamp but I don't think I'm your target audience since I don't really drink anyway and even less while breastfeeding Grin I can offer moral support!

cabbage67 · 26/06/2017 18:19

Sadly no bowel explosion with the coffee.

Who mentioned earlier they did have an explosion, and was it flax seed bread?

Naschkatze · 26/06/2017 18:20

As an example, DH bought me two mini bottles (one prosecco, one rose) with lots of pregnancy banned treats after DS was born. They are both still in the fridge!

StuntNun · 26/06/2017 18:33

Hippa apparently you can develop scurvy from a sudden drop in vitamin C intake, as well as from a vitamin C deficiency. One Christmas I ran out of my hideously expensive breastfeeding vitamins and I was too skint to buy more. It was the combination of breastfeeding, suddenly stopping the vitamins, and the fact that I don't eat a lot of fruit on this WOE that triggered scurvy. It was DH that realised it was scurvy when I started to develop bruises everywhere, was tired all the time, and my gums started bleeding. Fortunately, it didn't take very long to resolve once I started taking vitamin C again.

Shitty, bulletproof coffee doesn't make your bowels explode although it might make you feel queasy if you add too much fat at first. It does taste lovely though, like a creamy latte.

Asmoto · 26/06/2017 18:36

C4 Your stomach has shrunk noticeably between the two pictures. You've got a lovely figure, you seem to curve in and out in all the right places.

ClearEyesFullHearts · 26/06/2017 18:41

Thanks to HemanOrSheRa and CaptainBraand and Hippa and Naschkatze for joining the DRY rest of BOOTCAMP initiative.

It doesn't matter that two of you aren't big drinkers (not to imply the other two are), was just looking for some company. Would have gone dry anyway, tbh, as BIWI's well-timesd reminder struck a chord.

I love having a lovely cold vodka/soda on a sunny weekend afternoon. But at the moment it's probably stalling my weight loss.

I will have plenty of time to enjoy a drink when I'm healthy and not obese. Wink

Anyone else?

dustmotesinthesun · 26/06/2017 18:41

Shock you got scurvy stunt? Blimey

cathyandclare · 26/06/2017 19:10

Scurvy?!?
The BBQ is fired and ready, love low carbing in Summer.
B: Fried egg and mushrooms
L: Oopsie roll with butter and marmite (weird I know)
D: Spicy chicken kebabs, cauliflower fried rice with chorizo and peppers, cucumber and creme fraiche salad and caesar salad

PlymouthMaid1 · 26/06/2017 19:20

I like the spreadsheet as it makes me feel accountable even though I don't add weight every week always, only when I have lost ha ha. I weigh every morning and can't believe the fluctuations. I should ignore the scales and focus on measurements as they are changing especially around the waist and hips.

PlymouthMaid1 · 26/06/2017 19:27

Very glad it is nothing worse for your Dad Jimminy though its still nasty.

ilovecherries · 26/06/2017 19:30

We've arrived! It's gorgeous. Already been in the pool (topless!!) I seem to have missed out on the 'wear the sodding bikini' stage completely. It IS a private pool, with nearest neighbours about a mile away, but even so...Did a quick smash and grab in the supermarket till we get organised tomorrow. Food today:
Breakfast: fasting
Lunch: couple of salami slices, some Serrano ham, and a babybel, eaten in the car
Dinner: BBQ is on, I will be having a lamb chop, small pork escalope and a large salad.
Snacks and alcohol : none
Water: non- stop.
