Morning campers!

Here's the spreadsheet

Some good losses reported already this morning!

Four weeks left, so we could still see a good half stone disappear if we're vigilant.

The hot weather looks like it's disappearing this week, so hopefully anyone still struggling with water retention should find some relief.

But good luck to us all

Yep, dontcha know medieval diseases are all the rage? I'll probably get leprosy next just to show off. Just to reassure though, it was due to a sudden drop in vitamin C intake while breastfeeding rather than because I wasn't getting enough vitamin C and became deficient. It's probably something complicated to do with the way vitamin metabolism pathways all feed into each other.

Nothing beats a skinny dip cherries Grin

Cleareyes I will offer moral support, like Nasch I don't drink so it won't be hard but will wave my no drinkies pom poms in your support.

I am ok with ignoring the spreadsheet for myself. I didn't express it properly I think. It's the weekly weigh in that's worrying me, as I think it can set people back. Have the spreadsheet, have people use it as much or as little as they like, have people continue to post saying oh no, I've stalled, analyse my food please, that's all great. But I think with so many of us stopping or reducing weighing, and acknowledgement of how problematic weekly weighing can be at giving an accurate picture, it feels strange to me to structure BC around a weekly weigh in. Anyway as said it is just idle musings!

C4pinkwheels · 26/06/2017 20:14

Ok food today for the brains to pink over

B cup of tea with almond milk

L 2 egg omelette with courgette, mushroom and dry cure bacon. Coffee with cream

Afternoon coffee with cream

D half a chicken breast with cream cheese, with courgette and asparagus all topped with butter

Water 2.5L so far - I drink a lot so it's around 4 most days.

C4pinkwheels · 26/06/2017 20:47

Or even pick over

MOIST · 26/06/2017 20:48

B. Chicken thigh. Cream coffee
L. Pork, cauliflower cheese, fried Parmesan courgettes
S. Yogurt and cream
D. Cheese and ham omelet.

2 cups of tea with milk Shock

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 26/06/2017 20:52

argh why am I so hungry today? It's not munchies, it's genuine hunger. Bought a continental cheese & ham platter & also got tex mex pepperamis, would it be so bad to eat more now? I've drank loads of water & had coffees trying to hold out but it's no good. I may be ovulating, if that could be a reason?

JiminnyCricket · 26/06/2017 21:10

Just got home Shock

Went to the gym and then to visit Dad, hospital is just around the corner so it worked out well. The daft bugger is in a right state. His gallbladder has caused pancreatitis so he's going to be in hospital for a fair while.

Pants.

BIWI · 26/06/2017 21:15

Still working - and have another hour or so to go, so haven't had a chance to catch up with you all. Sorry Sad

jiminy that's rotten. Poor dad.

SayrraT · 26/06/2017 21:18

Your poor dad Jiminy Sad

NamelessEnsign · 26/06/2017 21:58

Your poor dad jimminy.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the people who mentioned the Lakeland yoghurt maker weeks ago. I just bought it at the sale price (£10!) and in 12 hours we made a litre of delicious yoghurt! We go through about 6 500g tubs a week so we're hoping this will really save us some money, and we have solar panels so low energy electrics are almost free in summer! It will also massively cut our recycling and I'm hoping to wean the kids off the nasty sugary yoghurts that DH has been buying of late. They were both weaned on Greek yoghurt but through sheer laziness ended up with the little pots which are easier for packed lunches.

Anyway they are reduced until the end of June and you can use unsweetened UHT soya or oat milk as well as dairy to make awesome yoghurt!

littlebillie · 26/06/2017 22:12

Cooked breakfast at a hotel tomorrow morning! I'm looking forward to my bacon egg sausage and mushrooms!! I normally nibble on toast and then feel guilty after!

nekobus · 26/06/2017 22:26

Checking into new thread! Not lost this week but I'm ok with that. Off to hospital to get my cast off tomorrow so maybe a bonus pound it two off???

Jiminny sorry to hear about your dad FlowersFlowers

C4 fab photos - you can definitely see the difference and 7 pounds in 6 weeks is pretty good.

Lovely to read about everyone's losses and NSVs and Flowers for those who have sts or put on, koko as they say.

Today:
B - tea with soya. Creamy coffee
L - (late 3-ish!) salad of leaves, avocado, olives chorizo
D - pulled pork, lettuce, cheese, jalapeños etc. Lovely 😊 made in my new instant pot with a LC spice rub.

I'd love to try a dry rest of BC cleareyes Booze is my downfall even if I stick to LC drinks. Except for the pimms. Blush

Mandelinka · 26/06/2017 22:30

Oh no jiminny, hope your dad recovers well. My mum had her gallbladder taken out about 5 years ago. She is suppose to stick to special diet but ignores it completely Hmm
c4 you have really good legs! And there is def difference in the before and after pix

Food:
B: fasting and shredding so only Marigold and water
L: was a picnic in the park, shared with my DS. Cucumber, carrots, pepper, kohlrabi, baby bells
D: wasn't really hungry. Most of the afternoon was spent prepping food for the next few days, so had small portions of: egg salad, coleslaw, pork belly strips, cauliflower with egg.
S: creamy coffee with 2 bits of dark chocolate ( had this late in the evening as the whole day ended up being busy and stressful, I was really looking forward to an easy afternoon with coffee and Netflix. No such luck ). Ff Greek with maybe too many strawberries.
Water. Not great. About 2 l. Still working on it.

I have a really yummy recipe for cauliflower if anybody is interested. It is sort of traditional dish from my country.
Boil 1/2 head of cauliflower florets until soft.
Drain the water and break down the florets. Add some salt, garlic salt, pepper. Grate some cheddar or Parmesan ( whatever is in the fridge). Now turn the stove back on and break in 2-3 eggs and scramble it all together. Sprinkle sime more pepper or parsley on top if you have.

starsky22 · 26/06/2017 22:38

Sorry to hear that Jiminy but glad you got to see him

C4 I can't really help as only been doing this a week, but hoping someone will be along soon to give advice

Today:
B 2 sausages
L chicken, salad & mayo in an egg wrap
D chicken leg, broccoli, cabbage and 2 carrots

Missing my coffee shop frappe latte today, but think that's more out of habit rather than cravings.

OldBooks · 26/06/2017 22:43

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 27/06/2017 00:20

readyforno2 Do the best you can but enjoy yourself. I was away for a week and gained 5lb earlier but back into boot camp as soon as I got back and whoosh lost 8lb since.
Was 207 earlier this year went away on holiday for 3 weeks put on 22lb. Lost some put on that 5lb now 213lb.
So enjoy, be sensible and you will lose the weight but keep the memories of your holidays for years to come.

Have Fun.

YoLoZammo · 27/06/2017 00:34

dustmotes sorry to hear about your DB and SIL. Sometimes people are just judgmental and it's horrible.

jim glad to hear your dad was diagnosed so quickly (by real doctors as well as you) and well done for the bet!

C4 I look at your photos and I don't see an overweight person. You look fine as your are! Shapely pins too.

I'm still catching up with the rest of the thread.

YoLoZammo · 27/06/2017 00:53

Now I've seen that your dad has complications Jim . Hope he recovers quickly after the surgery.

Cherrypi · 27/06/2017 06:34

I'm in the 12s! Felt fat go soft last night and this morning I lost 1.5lb to sneak into the 12s. Yay.

No porridge substitute ideas anyone? Will have to go without.

SayrraT · 27/06/2017 06:54

Coconut porridge I think it's on the recipe thread. Have you looked there?

Can't tell you quantities as I just use a wee scoop.

Desiccated coconut
Ground almonds
Coconut milk

There are lots of chia porridge recipes online as well.

OldBooks · 27/06/2017 06:59

Urgh one of those mornings where I wish I liked coffee. You all seem to guzzle it by the bucketload! After a rubbish night and early start I usually have something sugary to get me going Confused will increasing my fat give me the energy boost to wake me up so I can vaguely function at work?!?

AdalindSchade · 27/06/2017 07:08

Wooooooooo
So I had another date with the guy last night and had lots of snogging

AND I seem to have had a whoosh! I'm not going to rely on it but I got on the scales today and I'm 3lb down from yesterday/last week Grin
