I know! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Wink

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation!

Remember, week 4 is, like week 3, a time when weight loss tends to be pretty slow, if not non-existent. KOKO and persevere, and things will get going again soon.

But not if you cheat! Whilst many of you have been very honest about your transgressions, just remember that this WOE is not a very forgiving one. It's not like a calorie-controlled diet, where you can compensate for one 'bad' day with a 'good' one. As some of you have already found out the hard way!

Adalind I take psyllium husks fiber capsules - 2 every morning, and they seem to keep things going. On the odd occasion I've forgotten them, it is obvious that I need them, even with plenty of green veg & water! Got them on Amazon.

dustmotesinthesun · 15/06/2017 08:57

Well done Jiminny!! That must have been quite a moment. Your enthusiasm is infectious

Lovely sunny day here and feeling positive about my meals ahead

littlebillie · 15/06/2017 09:00

Well done Jimmy

AdalindSchade · 15/06/2017 09:04

Thanks knotty

C4pinkwheels · 15/06/2017 09:14

Jimminy - well done, you are amazing and I for one can't wait to see you in your wedding dress.

I'm over my negative outburst earlier this week, thank you for pulling me through. I have made a huge leap this week and ventured back into my studio/workroom where pre op I spent a large part of every day. I have done nothing creative since my operation and have felt as if my creativity had been surgically removed.
I'm slightly regretting letting the grandchildren have access to my workspace while I was out of action and although they haven't touched anything they shouldn't have their limited tidying ability is all too obvious. I need to have a really good cleaning session but it felt good to be back in there.
I'm supposed to be participating in an open studio event in September but I'm not going to get stressed about it and may drop out and do 2018 instead.

Today is going to be another first and I'm going to collect two grandchildren from school and take them for a milkshake. It will be my first solo trip out.

My food today

Brunch - omelette with cheese, mushroom, ham and spinach.
Snack- pork scratchings
D: mince with shallots, cauliflower and green veg.

cathyandclare · 15/06/2017 09:20

Well done Jimmy
Thanks to everyone for all the fantastic starter suggestions, it's so easy to get into a food rut, get bored and then start cheating, so I'm going to add them all to my repertoire, in fact DH and I will have asparagus and parmesan (with plenty of butter) for supper tonight- thanks BIWI!

I've decided to do the prawn skewers, they look gorgeous.

Daisy I've got less than a stone to lose too and it is a little slower. After the first 5lb I find that I have to think about quantities too, my body's calorie needs are something pathetic like 1200. I seem to be able to have more, and still lose, on LCHF, but I just can't have limitless cream, cheese and nuts. The good thing is, when I've been strict for a couple of weeks and am in proper ketosis, I am less hungry. I also find HITT helps. I did get down and maintained for 4 years on LCHF- but carb creep means I put on a bit, back on it now.

....Still got 6lb to lose though, so feel free to ignore my ramblings!

ChesterDrawers · 15/06/2017 09:44

Morning all,

Think the sunshine has given lots of us a bit of positivity back Smile

Well done on your 15 Jim, you’re going to look amazing on your wedding day.

I haven’t weighed since Monday but am definitely feeling smaller. Someone asked me if I’d had my hair done yesterday when I hadn’t which I find usually means they can seem something is different about you but they’re not sure what. I’ll take it as a sign that things are changing anyway Grin

Today’s plan is not actually much of a plan, disorganised this morning:
B: Left over cold sausage
L: Not got anything with me so hoping I have time to nip out, but doubtful
D: Prawns in tomato sauce with courgetti

CaptainBraandPants · 15/06/2017 09:50

Phew! finally caught up on the thread!
little It may be, but you will get natural fluctuations anyway. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of water.
MOIST hope you feel better soon. Is some of this post beer? I'm sure BIWI won't want to say "I told you so" but she did Grin
Well done Jiminny, onward and downwards.
Interesting article YoLo (I'm old enough to get you username Grin). There is a similar diet doctor article which i read when i need to stay on track.
Adalind magnesium tablets can be helpful and I find the flax bread usually does the trick, too.
Sayrra yep, me too. but we are both back here again and won't let a small blip blight our progress. Flowers
C4 glad you have got your mojo back. Good luck with the solo trip. Can I be nosy, what do you create in your studio? I am very envious of creative people as I am not.

So, caught up eventually.
Had a crap day Tuesday - in fact, it wasn't a whole day but about 4 hours of carby twattiness. Looking through the thread, a lot of people seemed to struggle on Tuesday, which is odd. I don't think I have ever seen so many being so negative on the same day. But well done to us all for pulling through it. Flowers
Straight back on it afterwards - I even went straight into a 20 hour fast. Yesterday was good food wise and feeling positive again.

food yesterday:
B: water
L: leftover cauli and broccoli gratin with sausages
D: fry up of bacon, mushrooms and flax bread with scrambled eggs. DH had some of the fried flax bread and he loved it, i may persuade him to go full on LC yet!

Today:
B: black coffee
L: broccoli and stilton soup with flax bread and loads of butter
D: chicken curry with cauli rice. may try that naan recipe.

My trousers are definitely getting looser. i'm in that awkward phase where one size is too big, but the next down too samall. getting there, though. Smile.

Sorry for the epic post, have two days worth to ramble on about.

styledilemma · 15/06/2017 10:17

I feel dreadful. Think it's my sinuses again.

Moist have you tried cutting out cheese and cream for a while to see if that helps?
Cheese and cream can be mucous producing in some people.
I know I often feel a bit 'claggy' (can't think of another word) after eating too much cream.

styledilemma · 15/06/2017 10:24

I can't believe we will soon be into Week 5! Shock

Usually diets drag, but this one seems to be flying by.
Maybe because it's a woe more than a 'diet'.

I'm so pleased I found this place.

I now have my waist back and I can see a definite improvement in my overall shape, even though the scales haven't moved too much this week I had a sneaky peak

Thanks once again to the people who've worked hard to set up this thread and spreadsheet, and to everyone who's given such wonderful advice and support. Flowers

Veryflummoxed · 15/06/2017 10:25

So pleased for you C4 those seem like major moves forward.

dustmotesinthesun · 15/06/2017 10:59

Captain I seem to have spent most of my life between sizes! It's infuriating. I am better at the moment - am a clear 14 when I've spent years being between a 16 and an 18 or a 14 and a 16. Hoping for lots of lovely weight loss though and then I won't care about my 14's being baggy Grin

CodLiverOil556 · 15/06/2017 11:04

Day 4 of insanity done and also 5km run/walk. Feeling great and almost into the 10 stone bracket (haven't been here since having DS over 7 years ago!)

Thought I'd try on some clothes that I stashed away...I got into a European 38 which is a small 12 Smile happy dances all round.

People are also starting to notice too and keep asking how I'm doing it especially when they see me spooning great lumps of cream in my coffee, can't quite believe I've finally found a woe that's right for me.

Really looking forward to the end of boot camp and seeing where I am and also my husband coming back from tour and seeing where half of his wife has gone Grin

KOKO fellow boot campers

WaaWaaWaaa · 15/06/2017 11:28

Well done everyone on the noticeable differences you are seeing. kinda cant wait to get back off holiday to do it again! (shameful I'm not really wishing my holiday away though :) )

B- Creamy coffee
L - Chicken salad
D - Gammon Steaks, mushrooms... and summat.

Right KOKO everyone have a good day X

Naschkatze · 15/06/2017 11:52

Hope you feel better soon Moist.
I'm glad lots of people are feeling more positive.

My day has gone to pot already... was up all night with DS as he's not well. I've had a grand total of 3 1/2 hours sleep and I'm not hungry, oddly.
B - at 4am! leftover fried halloumi, Greek yoghurt and one dark chocolate truffle. Hmm
S - creamy coffee
L - will probably be salad again, with feta, avocado and maybe a boiled egg.
D - Burger, courgette 'chips', roasted broccoli and coleslaw. If I fancy it, a few strawberries and cream for pudding.

I need to drink loads of water because it will make me feel better about the cake yesterday.

MOIST · 15/06/2017 12:43

Not sure if my dreadfulness is post beer or sinus hang over from my evil cold (im on about day 4760 of it). Or something else. I'm nauseous and pukey which doesn't fit. Almost migraine-ish but not.
I was going to avoid the dairy but then didn't. So will give that a bash.

Daisy62 · 15/06/2017 12:44

Thanks kleptronic and cathyandclare, for the motivation. I feel better today and will keep on going. Had raspberries with my Greek yogurt for breakfast, and it was like an out of body experience - amazingly tasty, have missed fruit so much. Well done everyone, for wrestling with problems and still being here!

ScoobyDoosTinklyLaugh · 15/06/2017 12:48

Just had a delicious steak with spinach, and cheesy mushrooms. So, so tasty. I'm eating alot less at the moment.

C4 what sort of work do you normally do in your studio? I'm a painter but also quite crafty so do a few bits. I rent a studio and I love it but its an absolute bombsite.

ilovecherries · 15/06/2017 13:32

Mmmmm. Just had lettuce wraps with smashed avocado, feta, chilli and onion.

nekobus · 15/06/2017 13:40

Jim Fantastic result on the scales! You are doing so well, can't wait to see you in your wedding dress Smile

C4 good luck with your solo trip out today, so pleased you are feeling brighter and getting into your studio.

I'm starting afresh today after I caved and had another slice of DH birthday cake last night. Apart from that all LC so haven't gone completely off the rails but going to regret 🎂

I've got sour cherry tea bags in a 2L bottle of fizzy water so will report back (I'm hoping it'll taste like a sugar-free cherry cokeWink)

Yesterday:
B - chicken breast slices, chorizo, coleslaw
L - leftover ham and broccoli, melted babybel,
D - courgetti carbonara - ham, shallots, in sauce made with cream, sour cream and cream cheese with a spoon of dijon
S - sorry about the cake BIWI babybel, chorizo slices
All my water plus 2 creamy coffees

Coconut flour arrived yesterday so I will attempt a few recipes seen on here - pancakes first I think.

wombattoo · 15/06/2017 13:42

Loving the positivity today Thanks

MOIST Tolerance for alcohol is much lower when low carbing voice of bitter experience Grin Hope you feel better soon Thanks

Jim How fantastic you must feel to get down in the 14's. Well done Star

C4 I'm glad to hear you have regained your mojo.

wombattoo · 15/06/2017 13:43

Oh, C4 I hope your solo trip goes well. Don't overdo it.

JiminnyCricket · 15/06/2017 13:50

My company provide work place yoga twice a week for an hour. I've always fancied it but never felt confident enough to go because of all the fat wobbling.

I have generalised anxiety disorder and Ive been struggling all morning because of pre-mentioned work re-shuffle.

Decided at 10 past 12 "fuck it. Namaste, bitches." and took myself off for an hour of yoga Grin mostly to avoid my inbox

Now, I'm a humanist and the least "woo" person you will ever meet, so the idea and proclaimed benefits of meditation etc makes my sciencey brain hurt but...

I LOVED IT.

Now I'm in an excellent mood, properly chilled out and feel like I've had a sleep. I'm also apparently "suprisingly bendy" according to my vegan colleague Grin (I've mentioned her before, we have a fun relationship now I'm surviving largely on animal products!)

So yeah, yoga is now a thing that i do. Thinner me apears to be much more open to trying new things Grin

Mandelinka · 15/06/2017 14:09

Hello everyone
Lovely to read all the positive posts today Grin
I too had a sneak peek at the scales and it's now day 15 with the same reading.
I haven't been very regular either which is not like me.... 😖

SayrraT · 15/06/2017 14:09

Feeling much less awful now that the day has gone on. Just back from badminton so that always helps me feel good.

Glad that you tried (and enjoyed yoga jim). My work is great, we have lunchtime badminton, pilates, basketball, running, cycling either free or very cheap. We also have discounts on massage (therapist comes weekly) and chiropody as well. I feel really good if I exercise at lunch time.
