My goodness Smile I don't think we've ever had a second thread in week 2!

Anyway, the last thread is full, so let's carry on the chatting here until the new thread on Monday!

I've been feeling quite hungry today but not really knowing what I fancy. Don't know why. And tired. I've been getting a good 8 hours sleep recently but last night I didn't. I had to have a nap this afternoon, I woke up 2 hours later, confused and muzzy headed Blush.

Food for today:

Late breakfast: omelette filled with spinach and mushrooms sautéed in butter, grated cheese and a drizzle of cream. Creamy coffee.

Picky late lunch: last very small portion of Moussaka, some ham.

Dinner: roast chicken, roasted celeriac, cauliflower/broccoli cheese, savoy cabbage sautéed in butter with caraway seeds, a ladle of gravy. This has appeared to hit the spot!

Water: I've had two 1l bottles and several glasses whilst cooking the roast. Still going with that.

RedBeanie · 04/06/2017 20:54

Oops... I've just realised that I probably shouldn't be eating tomatoes and onions, is that right?

L238 · 04/06/2017 20:58

Just made gorgeous homemade mayo using this method. Super easy and a lovely thick consistency. Will stick on the recipe thread too

Too much coffee today, but otherwise good. Work was quiet, so that's good.
B: creamy coffee x3
L: cheese Blush
D: roast beef, mashed cauli, buttered leeks and broccoli
S: two heaped teaspoons of peanut butter. Now that BC lite is almost here, can I recommend this peanut butter 7.4g carbs/100g, so only eat sparingly, but it is bloody gorgeous.
Good luck fro those who are weighing tomorrow. Flowers

CaptainBraandPants · 04/06/2017 21:04

Red swap shallots for onions in recipes as they are less carby. Tomatoes are ok in small quantities.
L238 yes, it's great, isn't it? So quick, easy and low carb.

Yorkshirebornandbred · 04/06/2017 21:35

Breakfast today was celery with brie, lunch bacon, fried egg, fried mushrooms and 2 low carb sausages, dinner was leftovers from yesterday's chilli with cabbage fried in butter. Snacks were 3 coffees with cream and a bag of pork scratchings.

nekobus · 04/06/2017 21:38

Catching up with thread, I'm so behind!

Thank you for the photos guys! Love the bunnies, doggies, tortoise, horse (beautiful pic!) and your burnaby waawaa 😂

Today was good for a weekend day (when I usually go off the rails) especially as it included a 4th birthday party picnic.

B - total ff, cream, vanilla powder and cinnamon, flax meal
L - celery dipped in pate, olives, cucumber, Boursin, mozzarella balls with basil and tomatoes (might have been a bit carby)
D - butter chicken in my new instant pot - success! With cauli rice.
S - 2 exploded babybels
At least 3L water and coffee & cream, tea with soya. Want to try fruit tea bag in fizzy water.

BIWI · 04/06/2017 21:39

How are you doing with the water, @Yorkshirebornandbred? Your last few posts seem to have been scrupulous in not mentioning that! Wink

Sorry meant to say kittens that's awful hope you are ok. Some people 😡

ChesterDrawers · 04/06/2017 21:41

Survived my BBQ with my LC food so was very proud of myself. Can't say the same about the booze though Blush Today I've been a bit hungover, very tired and not all that hungry.

B: bacon, left over sausage, mushrooms
Very late L: two left over chicken and beef kebabs, cheese chunk, almond milk iced coffee
D: bbq leftovers - minute steak, coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, courgette salad

Kind of hungry now but too late to eat. Not drank enough water either.

SayrraT · 04/06/2017 21:42

Argh! Ffs I've tried to post this 3 times.

This stuff is good, don't eat too much.

What I wrote in my previous posts before I got annoyed was that the cocoa, hazelnut butter is good but 14.5g carbs per 100g but as long as you don't eat a full jar it should be ok for occasional use on bclite.

Along with my favourite dessert (which I had tonight) a chopped up strawberry, mascarpone and a wee sprinkle of grated dark chocolate. Yum!

Mandelinka · 04/06/2017 22:00

Ok day. Done lot of walking in the park with DH and DS, feeling tired

B: fried bacon, egg, mushrooms, shallots and half tomato
L: chunk of lamb and chicken ( leftovers), salad, egg salad
D: wasn't really hungry, tiny portion of tomorrow's bolognese ( beef, celery, cauliflower, mushroom and small amount of arabiata. Will add courgette to it tomorrow
S: 5 raspberries ( were going off ) and cream, cream coffee
Very angry with myself, had 2 digestives while watching Netflix Angry Had to walk it off for 1 hr in the park. Shame on me Sad

Water/tea 2.5 l

Flibbertyjibbit · 04/06/2017 22:09

oooo that looks nice SarryaT - does it taste like nutella?

SayrraT · 04/06/2017 22:16

I've never had Nutella so I don't know! It's delicious though Grin

WaaWaaWaaa · 04/06/2017 22:19

Ooooh SayyraT -. (((drools))) looks lovely. My only real food bad thought all week was today and I just fancied some chocolate! Don't think I will on BC lite either as another poster said I have an on switch and an off switch.

Right I'm in bed! Very excited to weigh in tomorrow. The ONLY time I've lost this amount of weight in a week was on the Cambridge (very bloody miserable and hungry only 600 calories max) diet! So I've come to bed so it can happen sooner!!! That's mad right? 😂😄

Mandelinka · 04/06/2017 22:26

That's our Thomas

Grin waawaa like a kid at Christmas! Morning will be here soon enough.

Yorkshirebornandbred · 04/06/2017 23:08

Lol BIWI .. I'm trying .. really trying, can manage 1.5 to 2l but struggle to get over that. I'm trying though ... Blush

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 04/06/2017 23:12

SayrraT how can you never have tried Nutella!!

Just putting here that I don't think I'll be weighing until the end of bootcamp, I'm getting a bit obsessive as AF is STILL overdue and nothing is changing, so I'm knocking it on the head for a bit.

OldBooks · 04/06/2017 23:22

Mandelinka we have a black and white boy too

Sayrra get away, Nutella is the most delicious thing known to man

AdalindSchade · 05/06/2017 02:15

Yorkshire what is it that's stopping you?
Drink a pint before breakfast and fill up a 500ml bottle. It's easy to drink that bottle 3 times during the day, set regular points that fit in with whatever you're doing. Then a pint with dinner and a pint after. 3l easy.

Veryflummoxed · 05/06/2017 06:57

When I started bootcamp I expected to feel carb deprived, I'm not. I'm feeling pet deprived instead Grin loving the pics though.

StuntNun · 05/06/2017 07:05

Here's the thread on intermittent fasting for anyone that wants to find out more.
