I don't think that BIWI has managed to post a new thread so I'll do this one.

I don't have the wise words of BIWI so I'll just say that by now you should be more in the swing of lcing so just keep it up and remember, only 1 week until bclite.

Hopefully you all have a successful weigh-in but if not, don't be disheartened. Post for some help and we will do our best.

I'm still angry. I want wine but am working tomorrow so have resisted. Instead I had a teaspoon of peanut butter. Bollox.

lurknolinger · 01/06/2017 21:47

On the subject of cheese sauce (I know that topic feels like days ago) top tip I picked up from a previous BC if you want a nice thick 'coating' sauce just use cream and grated cheese, but add some mozerella which thickens it . . Voila

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 21:55

I was good.
Went to the pub and only had soda, lime and ice.

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 21:56

Why do my babybels keep sticking? I need a chisel to get them out of the pot.
Whats the secret to the perfect exploding babybell?
The first one I made was perfect, then it was all downhill.

nekobus · 01/06/2017 21:57

Congrats moist GrinI swear I had one of those today. Hoping for some good results on the scales I honestly think I've got rid of a few pounds

DH made some lovely creamed leeks tonight to go with steak, garlic mushrooms (big mushrooms baked in oven with lashings of garlic butter) just leeks cooked in butter and wine with cream and some grated cheese.

lurknolinger · 01/06/2017 22:01

Style well done you. I would have found that hard too.

SayrraT · 01/06/2017 22:02

styled to get it out of the pot? How are you doing your baby bel?

Dinner tonight was very summery: courgetti and cherry toms stir fried in garlic olive oil and butter with mozzarella. Lovely.

Also, on toilet habits... I am definitely less regular but I have noticed that every few days I get stomach cramps/an uncontrollable urge to go to the loo, and it's like having diarrhoea... Blush

cabbage67 · 01/06/2017 22:13

Has anyone tried Bare Naked Noodles?

I know it might be an obvious question, but is there any reasons why I couldn't have them?

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 22:13

I forgot to mention nekobus the Instant Pot is brilliant for cooking hard boiled eggs. You can cook them straight from the fridge. I do mine for 6 mins. You'll probably see that on the FB page though Grin.

styledilemma · 01/06/2017 22:16

sayra I put one in a little ramekin and microwave it on high for 2 minutes. They are turning out like concrete.
I've tried to find the recipe with no luck. Confused
The recipe thread, is it in alphabetical order? How do we find something in particular?

JiminnyCricket · 01/06/2017 22:19

The size 16 Grin

Ignore my messy bedroom, I've been building the vanity on the left!

Lovely dress Jimminy. It looks great on you.
What shoes are you going to wear with it?

nekobus · 01/06/2017 22:25

Very nice Jim!

Thanks heman I eat a lot of
hb eggs so that's really helpful. Just found this butter chicken instant pot recipe, we love butter chicken in his house.

BIWI · 01/06/2017 22:29

Bare Naked Noodles are perfect!

They're also known as shirataki noodles (they're made with a Japanese vegetable called the yam. No relation to the vegetable that you might know as a yam.

Look on the recipe thread as there a few recipes on there for using them.

They're brilliant in stir-fries or Asian-type soups. They will work instead of spaghetti, but they're not quite as good as the texture is a bit tougher.

Asmoto · 01/06/2017 22:31

Looks fab, Jimminy and a fairly loose fit - you'll be in a 14 before you know it!

JiminnyCricket · 01/06/2017 22:31

styledilemma depends on the weather! If it's warm I'll wear skin coloured tights and tan sandals, if it's cool I'll wear black tights and black under ankle boots :)

OldBooks · 01/06/2017 22:34

Very pleased today. Ingrained behaviours are changing. Had a very long very stressful meeting that went way over my usual lunchtime. Usually I would be ravenous but I was only mildly hungry. And despite feeling stressed I didn't fall face first into cake. I had a fair amount of double cream though Then as soon as I got home it was DDs bedtime - the baby kept waking up screaming and the preschooler took that as chance to fart around. I didn't get to eat till 9 - and I wasn't really hungry

This is so bizarre. I feel like the other shoe is going to drop soon. How can I go from being obsessed with food, hungry all the time, etc to just having an avocado (with oil and creme fraiche) for tea and not wanting more???

AdalindSchade · 01/06/2017 22:34

You need to cut the babybel into bits. 4/6 pieces and I put them in a silicone bake tray. 1 minute and they were lush. I then tried exploded Edam and leerdammer and both worked ok but not as good as babybel

Patapouf · 01/06/2017 22:43

Well done Jim! I know what you mean about needing new bras but I'm so reluctant to splash out on expensive naice ones if they are going to continue to shrink!

ChesterDrawers · 01/06/2017 22:45

Style I do mine on a slightly oiled plate, just rub a bit of olive oil or sometimes I use frylite (I have some left over in the cupboard - not for everyday use). You still need to prise it off a bit but no chisel necessary.

BIWI · 01/06/2017 22:54

Sorry I haven't had time to respond to everyone's posts or questions. Presentation is now finished (I think Hmm), so have more time to devote to Bootcamp from now Smile

One thing I did notice, though, was a few questions about what happens after Bootcamp.

It all depends on what you've achieved by then! If you've reached your target, then it's about how to maintain that. And that's something that can/does prove difficult for many of us. It's a tricky thing to find the 'sweet spot' in terms of the daily amount of carbs your body can tolerate, as well as resisting the lure of whatever your weakness is - be that cake or chocolate or wine. You're fucked if it's all three!

But one thing is for sure - you can't go back to eating like you were before, because that was made you fat.

If, at the end of the 10 weeks of Bootcamp you haven't reached your target - don't panic Smile We always carry on chatting, until the next Bootcamp starts. So there's always support here and people to talk to and ask any questions.

This time around, we finish around the end of July - the final Bootcamp of the year usually starts around mid-October.

cabbage67 · 01/06/2017 23:04

BIWI Thanks for that, I knew you'd have the answer. I'll have a look on the recipe thread. :)

HemanOrSheRa · 01/06/2017 23:33

Ooh that looks lovely neko. I might give that a go next week. It looks really easy too!

JustRosieHere · 02/06/2017 00:12

I had a raging headache all day after cutting back the carbs since Monday. 10.30 boom it's gone and now I'm wide awake.

Which cream do you use in coffee? Only ever put milk in mine.
