I don't think that BIWI has managed to post a new thread so I'll do this one.

I don't have the wise words of BIWI so I'll just say that by now you should be more in the swing of lcing so just keep it up and remember, only 1 week until bclite.

Hopefully you all have a successful weigh-in but if not, don't be disheartened. Post for some help and we will do our best.

Cabbage I once had my yogurt with a liberal sprinkling of paprika. That was an unusual breakfast to say the least.

HemanOrSheRa · 30/05/2017 23:21

cabbage I like tomato, mozzarella and avocado with a splash of olive oil, salt and pepper for breakfast. A sprinkle of basil if you've got any too. I have half of each sliced on a plate. I try and leave some avocado to mash into the oil at the end.

YoLoZammo · 31/05/2017 01:00

oh my lord. The eggs are having repercussions. Let's just say Donald J Trump and arsehole belong in the same sentenceShock .I nearly knocked myself out with the noxious napalm. Someone should have Warned Me !!!

herecomesthsun · 31/05/2017 01:10

I often have eggs for breakfast and have taken to frying up 2 or 3 of those big flat mushrooms in butter if I feel peckish.

I need a bigger repertoire of veg based snacks I think, to distract me from summer berries and dairy.

OldBooks · 31/05/2017 06:32

NSV here this morning, feeling looser around the waist so measured and another inch and a half off!

NigellasGuest · 31/05/2017 06:39

OldBooks - fabulous! See - you are going to be slim! Forget the scales and go by your clothes- it's the way forward. (and at some point have a cheeky weigh in and be pleasantly surprised) ;)

Mandelinka · 31/05/2017 06:51

Morning everybody

B: smoked salmon mashed with creamy cheese, celery sticks, green tea
L: omelette with mushrooms, cheese, radish, red pepper, parsley and scallions
D: hmmm

littlebillie · 31/05/2017 07:09

I have got up and I feel very tired I have slept well but feel meh

OldBooks · 31/05/2017 07:10

Nigellas I think you are right re the scales. I don't have any 'thin' clothes hiding in the loft so I might pop into some charity shops and get a few things in the next size down to be markers Smile

NigellasGuest · 31/05/2017 07:24

Yes get up into the loft! Or just observe how your current clothes get looser Smile
Also I find that losing just a bit from my middle alters my posture and I am able to draw in my ab muscles whenever I think about it, just tighten them whilst drawing back towards the backbone, and relax my shoulders back. If I do it naked looking in the mirror I can see a big improvement and i think I start to adopt that posture more throughout the day

NigellasGuest · 31/05/2017 07:24

Whoops sorry you said there's nothing in the loft Blush

littlebillie · 31/05/2017 07:26

Just been watching a video about LiCHF and it made me realise that there is no 'diet industry' if this is promoted the whole LF market must be huge!

Fortunatepiggy · 31/05/2017 07:29

Tried on some dresses tonight that I haven't been able to wear since before my ds was born.... and they fit! ( he is now 4!) I am very happy!

littlebillie · 31/05/2017 07:30

Just jumped on the scales which I know I shouldn't but I'm below 200lbs first time in years 😃🌈

ChesterDrawers · 31/05/2017 07:32

Morning all,

Slept a lot better last night, so feeling quite perky today. According to my Fitbit, I hardly ever have any deep sleep so sure that's why I always feel so whacked.

I'm also feeling really anxious at the moment, which isn't helping the sleep. I suffer from it from time to time and do have meds but I try not to take them unless in feeling really bad. LC usually helps so I just need to KOKO.

Today's plan:
B: eggs, mushrooms in butter
L: halloumi salad, olive oil
D: avocado pasta sauce with bacon and mushrooms, Courgetti

SayrraT · 31/05/2017 07:58

Measuring is the way to go. I am a daily or couple of times a week weigher but it doesn't upset me if I gain.

At the end of every month I do a wee tally up of weight loss and set my next months goal.

May Aim: 222 lbs
May start: 226 lbs (had been on holiday so this was a gain from April)
May End: 218 lbs
May Loss: 8 lbs

Total Loss: 25 lbs (1.19 lb/week)

June Aim: 214 lbs

Measurements (inches lost since February)
Bust: -1 inch
Under bust: -1 inch
Waist: -3.5 inches
Hips: -3 inches

Morning all Grin

More painting today, nothing more exciting going on. On the other hand, it will be exciting when we can empty these flippin boxes and get everything out from under the bed!

Nurse appt went ok. My blood pressure is high but I'm going on a new trial they're having. They register you and give you a bp moniter to use at home regularly. You just text your results and the surgery collates everything. I won't be started for 2 weeks and my bp was lower than 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping they'll eventually decide I don't need more intervention.

Brunch will be big mushrooms, spinach, bacon and eggs
Dinner Cabbage casserole from diet doctor - yum
Snack if needed total yoghurt and some raspberries (I'm on week 16)

Have a lovely day all and Flowers to those having a rough time x

littlebillie · 31/05/2017 08:00

What do we eat after boot camp?

ilovecherries · 31/05/2017 08:04

littlebillie, that's fantastic! My next aim is to be back in the 100+ club soon. Yesterday I passed 15 stone and I was delighted. Was so happy to see 14 stone 13.5 on the scales, it's a long time since I saw that. So I'm changing the scales back to lbs now so I can see 199 appear, and when it does, will change them back to stones again to see the magic 13 stone something appear.

AdalindSchade · 31/05/2017 08:06

I've never done it but I think the idea is that you stay broadly low carb but can introduce more carbs gradually until you see what you can eat to maintain your weight.

RedBeanie · 31/05/2017 08:11

You are all so inspiring! I'm thinking of delving into the LC way, but struggling to get my head around how you cope without snacks and desserts, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

I posted here but I guess no traffic!

I think you're all fantastic, I wish I had the motivation to join ...

WaaWaaWaaa · 31/05/2017 08:14

Morning guys - I've joined officially. No point in being lilly livered about it. I think I've even managed to put myself on the spreadsheet. Now lets see what we can shave off me before holiday. Thanks guys.

Bella - Good work on the lower BP!

HemanOrSheRa · 31/05/2017 08:18

Morning!

I am so glad you said that about your posture and stomach Nigellas. I can do exactly the same, I thought I might be imagining it!

ilovecherries · 31/05/2017 08:26

RedBeanie, why not just jump in and give it a go? It's lovely here, so it's your best opportunity for support, and you might surprise yourself. I don't have a sweet tooth, so didn't have that to contend with, but I was a total carb fiend. Bread, rice, pasta, potatoes etc etc. I won't lie, my first 5 days were hellish - I felt awful, but suddenly it was like a switch was thrown, and since Sunday I've felt fantastic.

WaaWaa go you!

LittleBillie, I don't really see there being an 'after boot camp' for me, but I've still got a lot of weight to lose. In my dreams, 5 stone, in reality, maybe 3.5. But either way, I'm in it for a long haul, so I expect I will just keep on doing it.

ilovecherries · 31/05/2017 08:27

bella, that's a great NSV.
