Evening all!

I'm starting this thread now as I have to leave early for work tomorrow. and I know how keen you'll all be to weigh-in first thing, so won't want to wait until I can get round to getting it up and running Grin

Here's the link to the lovely shiny new Spreadsheet of Fabulousness ]] for which many thanks, SayrraT.

Your name should be on it, but if it isn't, just add it at the bottom. Don't try and re-alphabetise the list - Sayrra or Wombattoo will do that later.

And don't touch the blue cells!!!

Quick Question :- How do you ladies keep 'regular' Blush

lovelycuppateas · 22/05/2017 08:01

Did bootcamp last year, lost lots of weight and felt great, then life happened - emergency abdominal surgery and six weeks of sick leave followed by a really stressful time at work and with kids meant that my good habits went out of the window and I've gained about 10lbs! Am looking forward to starting again. So, today -
egg, bacon lardons and mushrooms for breakfast w black coffee
roast pork (leftovers from yesterday) salad for lunch
aubergine and halloumi bake with spinach for dinner
And must remember to drink lots of water.
Good luck everyone! May we all feel fabulous this summer...

lovelycuppateas · 22/05/2017 08:02

Just saw how to keep regular! Drinking LOTS of water really helps with this. I also took magnesium for a while last time, and found that helpful too.

MaryThorne · 22/05/2017 08:05

Morning all! Thanks @BIWI and @SayrraT.

Really glad to be getting back to LCHF. My first Bootcamp was last May and I did low carb until February and was the slimmest I'd been in 20 years. I got pregnant then and all I wanted to eat was very carb heavy stuff (even the thought of eating LCHF made me feel sick). Sadly I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and have eaten lots of cake since then! I've put on over a stone since February ShockConfusedNow I feel like eating low carb again, I'm hoping it'll

MaryThorne · 22/05/2017 08:06

Posted too soon!

... hoping it'll help me recover and start to feel like myself again.

Good luck everyone SmileFlowers

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 22/05/2017 08:08

MaryThorne Flowers Sorry to hear about the mc. I've been there myself more than once.

craftypuss council pop we call it!

MaryThorne · 22/05/2017 08:08

@DevilsDumplings lots of water and plenty of fat. You may find initially your digestion is a bit out of kilter but that's perfectly normal as it adjusts to a different way of eating (WOE). Smile

IllBeAtTheBarIfYouNeedMe · 22/05/2017 08:09

Good morning everyone

First time with bc but low carbed last year and lost 7st. Still have a few more to go and what I've put back on since Christmas so giving this a try as I need to be back on the wagon. I have a marathon in October so this boot camp until the summer holidays, marathon nutrition until the run and then back on it for my wedding in February. I can't do the spreadsheet on my phone so I'll add to it on the pc later.

Today I'll be doing a 5 mile run

B- boiled eggs and green tea
L- avocado salad
D- Shepards pie (with celeriac topping) and vegetables

Must remember to drink my water. I've always been shit at that.

MaryThorne · 22/05/2017 08:10

Thanks hippadoppaloppa Smile

MOIST · 22/05/2017 08:11

Is it lbs or kg on the spreadsheet?

wombattoo · 22/05/2017 08:12

Morning everyone.
If you are having trouble inputting your weight on the spreadsheet, post it on the thread and I will update it. I'm not around through the day but I will read every post on an evening to make sure I don't miss anyone.

wombattoo · 22/05/2017 08:13

MOIST · 22/05/2017 08:13

Thanks. It's a lot Blush

ragz134 · 22/05/2017 08:13

Morning all, great to see many raring to go!

I have been LC since Jan 1st, lost almost 2 stone, only 9lb on last BC as I stalled for 6 weeks, but it is moving again now and I'm aiming for 10lbs on this one. I have about 2 stone to go, so I am halfway through and obviously this half will take a lot longer!

Boiled egg for breakfast
Leftover mince and courgette bake for lunch
Chicken and veg for dinner

Black coffee. Water water water.

Good luck everyone.

AdalindSchade · 22/05/2017 08:17

Right!
Lost 1.5lbs since last weekend. I have 6lbs to get out of obese and into overweight. I lost 9lbs since xmas doing calorie counting but I was skipping meals and using my calories on crap so need an attitude adjustment.
I have thrown in the towel on LC before because sugar is my addiction but I have cut it back to just 2 squares of 81% chocolate a day and from today I'm going to have none.
Had 2 eggs fried in butter, a pint of water and a cup of coffee with cream.
Lunch is salad with 1/4 pack feta and 2 boiled eggs, with cheddar and yoghurt to snack (I know)
Dinner will be cauliflower mash and fried tofu.

MaryThorne · 22/05/2017 08:20

Breakfast: fried egg x2, bacon x2, field mushroom, fried tomatoes x2, (all fried in butter and olive oil), coffee with double cream

I'm finding not counting carbs very liberating. I moved onto very strict LCHF after I did Bootcamp previously (counting carbs religiously) and I'm reminded why I found Bootcamp rules so good Grin - much more straightforward.

DevilsDumplings · 22/05/2017 08:22

Thank you Mary' & Lovely' ... love water and full fat yoghurt so fingers crossed.

Pengweng · 22/05/2017 08:22

Weighed in and have food ready to go.

Breakfast was total yoghurt
Lunch will be mini peppers stuffed with cream cheese and salad leaves
Dinner will be roasted cauliflower and broc (lots of olive oil) and salmon fried in butter to get the skin nice and crispy.

Have a bag of pork scratchings in my bag incase the kids at work drive me crazy and i need a snack.

Need to hard boil some eggs tonight for breakfast tomorrow as i fell asleep early which is why breakfast was just yoghurt.

Good luck everyone. xx

DevilsDumplings · 22/05/2017 08:26

Peng' Pork scratchings, I'm in Grin

Bibs2014 · 22/05/2017 08:28

Weighed in at 10st 13.

Menu

Pancetta omelette
Chicken rendang skewers and salad
Roast beef and veg
Coffee with cream 😋

HemanOrSheRa · 22/05/2017 08:29

Morning! I did most of the pre summer (I think) BC in 2015 and lost some weight. More surprisingly my body shape changed quite a bit. Everything was fine until my Dad died in Jan 2016. Since then I have stopped exercising altogether (I was running 3 x week), lost the plot with eating and drinking and piled on weight. About 3 stone. I am enormous Sad.

I won't be weighing in weekly as I have found with every 'diet' and previous BC that I get completely obsessed with it and do very odd things. I have weighed on my wonky scales this morning though and I am 13st 12lb Shock. I'm only 5ft 2 so look like a bloody weeble. I will take photos later when I am on my own.

B - 2 hard boiled eggs
L - chicken, salad with lemon and basil mayo
D - DS is making spag bol at school so it'll be that with courgetti and cheese. Probably a side salad with dressing too.
W - 3 litres.

Good luck everyone Smile!

ilovecherries · 22/05/2017 08:31

Hi everyone, glad to be here. I've had a shit 5 years or so health wise, putting on about a stone a year in that time, due to a combo of a nasty accident that put me on crutches for nearly three years, hashimoto's disease culminating in a thyroidectomy, all served with the delights of menopause and some serious comfort eating. I'm pretty much well now though, and having made serious efforts to get back to a happy place emotionally, it now feels time to tackle the physical. I'm off on holiday in 5 weeks, so I'm hoping by then to have established some better habits that will keep me on track while I'm away, and I decided that in any case, there would never be an ideal time to start, there would always been some event or another happening, and I just needed to start already. So here I am! I would love to lose 56 lbs before a big birthday next Valentine's Day.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 22/05/2017 08:34

Morning!

This will be my second bootcamp - did one this time last year. I don't have much to lose at all. The same 7lb I'm trying to shift to feel at my optimum. I have been suffering from terrible bloating recently which makes me look about 5 months pregnant. I know bootcamp will help with that as I won't be allowing carb creep and the odd slice of cake/bread!

I'm not too worried about what the scales say but I do want to try and lose as much of the fat around my middle as possible.

Today's meals:
Greek yoghurt and chai tea
Tuna mayonnaise with little gem lettuce
Mushroom and spinach omelette.

Good luck everyone. Smile

OldBooks · 22/05/2017 08:36

Morning everyone! This is my first Bootcamp but I have been easing in over the last 3 weeks, mostly following BC rules except for a few carby moments due to stress/tiredness/poor planning. Over the 3 weeks the scales have fluctuated, had a starting weight of 16.5st, then went down as low as 15.11 then back up to 16.1 and this morning 15.13. But I measured this morning and I have lost 2" off my waist, half an inch off arms and underbust, and 1" off bust. So that's a positive start to the BC and a downward trend I want to see more of!

Today I am tucking into no crust quiche which will be breakfast and lunch. Tea probably halloumi and courgettes. Aiming not to snack, have my pint mug for herbal tea and my pint water bottle ready to go.

I am at home with the DC today which is usually a low step day, sometimes only 3000, so will aim to reach 6-7000 today if not more.

Good luck everyone!
