Evening all!

I'm starting this thread now as I have to leave early for work tomorrow. and I know how keen you'll all be to weigh-in first thing, so won't want to wait until I can get round to getting it up and running Grin

Here's the link to the lovely shiny new Spreadsheet of Fabulousness ]] for which many thanks, SayrraT.

Your name should be on it, but if it isn't, just add it at the bottom. Don't try and re-alphabetise the list - Sayrra or Wombattoo will do that later.

And don't touch the blue cells!!!

I've just checked MFP for French beans / green beans, using ocado as the version (hence definitely gives you the net carbs rather than the default result which would be a US figure which includes the fibre too) and it says 3.2g carb per 100g, hence to me it squeezes into the 'ok just don't go overboard and mainline them' category

imustbepatient · 24/05/2017 17:31

Ps I used the scanner function on my pack of Ocado organic green beans that I have in the fridge, hence I'm as sure as I can be with MFP that it is right!

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 17:44

dustmotes I know exactly what you mean. I'm love to lose 5 stone but that might be unrealistic post menopause. But I know that 2.5 stone ago I felt 100% better than I do now.

wombattoo · 24/05/2017 17:45

Evening everyone.

I'm glad I don't like beans! Grin

Sayrra You look amazing in your photo shoot. Go you!
secretsignal I've added you to the bottom of the s/s

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 17:52

I think we should just assume that beans are in the ok in moderation category? BIWI?! Grin

GetReady · 24/05/2017 17:53

Dustmotes - sun=hiss. :-(

But, hopefully not for long!

HemanOrSheRa · 24/05/2017 18:05

Heehee! Beangate Grin.

I feel exactly the same dustmotes. I was so uncomfortable in work this afternoon. I have to wear a stupid button fronted polycotton blouse. I was sweating and so hot. Mind you my second tummy is a little smaller so at least the buttons have stopped popping open Blush.

Veryflummoxed · 24/05/2017 18:08

Well here's my dinner and guess what it contained, beansGrinthe French sort which in our house are known as squeaky beans and not runner beans which are my favourite. It also had red peppers and tomatoes which I usually try to avoid but I listened to Dr M today talking about the gut flora and coloured vegetables so in moderation I'm sure they did me good. By the way the picture shows the serving dish not my portionSmile
B was chicken breast and wing with HM coleslaw (white cabbage, celeriac, shallots)
L ff Greek yogurt

Black and mint tea and I'm on target for my water quota. I feel pleased with myself.

Doing well on the eating front, and drinking the water, but had terrible night...couldn't settle, banging headache, hungry and only got 4.5 hours sleep. Had to get up for some food in the night (Babybel and a few spoonfuls of greek yogurt). Will try an earlier bedtime tonight, and a calmer run-up to it. Am missing pulses and nuts as a vegetarian (too much cheese makes me gain weight, and although I eat eggs, I don't always fancy them) but have just realised that I could have some nuts on veggie bootcamp, so had nut butters on celery with mixed salad for lunch.

styledilemma · 24/05/2017 18:11

Damn. My addiction to Gouda slices with PNB is an issue.

MOIST, I love Gouda cheese as well. I believe they have a high content of K2 in them. I've never tried them with peanut butter!

littlebillie · 24/05/2017 18:44

Just had this on courgetti bliss 👍

MOIST · 24/05/2017 18:45

Don't do it style. You'll get hooked.

2 slices Gouda. PNB sandwiched in the middle. Grin this is why I am very fat. Or maybe not....... maybe it's because I wash down my Gouda PNB sandwiches with bottles of red?

dustmotesinthesun · 24/05/2017 19:02

Relieved it's not just me struggling in the heat.

So a bit random but as this bootcamp is just starting up I wondered if anyone wanted to join me in committing to a cold water shower daily. Have been reading up on the benefits. I have tried before and it always makes me feel great, i just slip out of having them each winter. They supposedly help with weight loss and your mental health. Coming out of one you literally feel euphoric and zingy. Info here

Not offended if no one wants to but think i will commit for the duration of the bootcamp and see what changes I feel.

ImALurkerNotAFighter · 24/05/2017 19:16

Can anyone tell me which is the low carb vanilla powder from waitrose?
The scales tell me I've lost 2.2 pounds in 2 days, and its TOTM and I'm on nights, which are usually a carb fest! Shock

styledilemma · 24/05/2017 19:25

dustmotes, I'm up for it!

StuntNun · 24/05/2017 19:32

Lurker I use this one. It's expensive but you only need a touch of it in your yogurt, probably not even an eighth of a teaspoon.

ImALurkerNotAFighter · 24/05/2017 19:42

Cheers stunt!

dementedma · 24/05/2017 19:50

Hats off to those who are managing this. Have been so fucking hungry have had two slices of toast so back to square one.Sad
Will start again tomorrow

Billionnairewannabe · 24/05/2017 19:52

Evening all - day 3. Was too busy to post yesterday but I'm still on track. Felt a bit (carb) hungry midday yesterday but managed to push through it with LCHF and today's gone well with no (carb) hunger pangs.
B - cheese omelette bacon and mushrooms
L - chicken, celeriac
D - Smoked salmon, lettuce, avocado.
Done 2.5 l water so will do 3 by bedtime. Things that keep me on track are a. posting on here b. drinking water. KOKO everyone.
Dustmotes - I may try the cold shower tomorrow, not sure about every day though! I'll read your link.

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 19:54

Can't make the bread tonight - went to get the ingredients out of the fridge only to then crack an egg to find that DP has hard boiled them all Angry

wombattoo · 24/05/2017 20:04

@dementedma Why are you hungry? You should not be hungry on this woe. Do you want to post what you are eating?

AdalindSchade · 24/05/2017 20:05

demented if you're hungry why don't you eat a low carb snack? You aren't supposed to deprive yourself.
What else did you eat today before the toast?

dustmotesinthesun · 24/05/2017 20:05

Great style! Woo hoo!!

Billionaire I'm nervous too!! But it will be easier if we keep eachother at it. You won't believe how good you feel in the 10 minutes after it. It's just slight torture getting in Wink

That link said people lost 9 pounds in a year by switching to cold water showers! I want that extra 9 pound loss, plus all the other benefits

ClearEyesFullHearts · 24/05/2017 20:05

Hope you at least ate it for a snack, Jiminny. Wink

ClearEyesFullHearts · 24/05/2017 20:06

That link said people lost 9 pounds in a year by switching to cold water showers!

Must be the additional exercise from all that shivering.
