Evening all!

I'm starting this thread now as I have to leave early for work tomorrow. and I know how keen you'll all be to weigh-in first thing, so won't want to wait until I can get round to getting it up and running Grin

Here's the link to the lovely shiny new Spreadsheet of Fabulousness ]] for which many thanks, SayrraT.

Your name should be on it, but if it isn't, just add it at the bottom. Don't try and re-alphabetise the list - Sayrra or Wombattoo will do that later.

And don't touch the blue cells!!!

Loving everyone's posts, it really helps to keep enthused and focused by reading through them all!

Food for me today is

B two buttered ham and cheese roll ups and black coffee
L salad with avocado, prawns, mozzarella and a couple of cherry tomatoes with olive oil and apple cider vinegar dressing
D I think I'll have tuna mayo with salad and some pork scratchings. I wa thinking of having an omelette but the glorious weather is making me feel like non stop salads!

I'm comfortably on my way to my three litres of water plus I've just had the marigold organic bouillon again to keep my electrolytes up.

Re the green beans discussion above, I'd thought that, like tomatoes, they are ok occasionally in small amounts, but I will go and read the spreadsheet again!

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 16:52

The green runnners being basical long fibrous tubular things.

AdalindSchade · 24/05/2017 16:54

French beans are what I call green beans. Not runner beans and not broad beans.

imustbepatient · 24/05/2017 16:55

This is what I think of as a green bean / French been

Peanut butter? The no Syrah crunchy one - acceptable or not?

I know almond would be better but it's £££ and I have a jar of whole earth peanut in the cupboard.

MOIST · 24/05/2017 16:58

No sugar

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:00

MOIST not in these 2 weeks, after that in very controlled amounts. If you cant eat it in moderation like me it's out. It also has to be the 100% peanuts stuff, no added anything.

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 17:01

Vegetables under 3g carbs per 100g are the vegetables you should be using. Under 5g per 100g are ok sometimes.

The spreadsheet has other veg on it like peppers which are not ideal but at least with them on there you can see how many carbs are in the portions you want to use.

BTW someone has messed up the veg carb sheet, please do not type in the blue cells!

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:01

The bean question is irrelevent - all veg with bean in the name is 5g carb or more per 100g, so all of them are out :)

MOIST · 24/05/2017 17:01

Damn. My addiction to Gouda slices with PNB is an issue.

Are all the nut butters out then? Could I splash out on some almond?

HemanOrSheRa · 24/05/2017 17:03

I thought green/french/dwarf beans were OK in small amounts Sad. I would weigh them and have 50g or less with other veg.

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 17:05

BTW the veg carb counter has French beans and runner beans, no green beans.

French beans 4.7g/100g
Runner beans 2.3g/100g

HemanOrSheRa · 24/05/2017 17:05

On the spreadsheet it says French beans are 4.7g and runner beans are 2.3g.

HemanOrSheRa · 24/05/2017 17:07

Green beans are French beans

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:07

Heman first 2 weeks of bootcamp you shouldnt need to weigh anything, hence why anything above 5g carb per 100g is off the table.

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:09

Ooooh runner beans might be ok then, green beans are too high though as you should be aiming for the 3g or lower ones ideally. Maybe once or twice a week would be ok though.

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 17:11

That's why I thought the runners were ok because it said 2.3 carbs/100gms.

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 17:12

Jiminy sorry that's wrong

Beans and carbs per 100g

Runner 3.2g
French 3.1g
Broad 5.6g
Baked Wink 12.5g

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 17:12

Those above are from Tesco packets

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:13

cherries yep, my mistake. Runners seem to be ok, I'd still avoid french/ green beans for regular eating though, although occasionally would be ok.

JiminnyCricket · 24/05/2017 17:16

Sayrra aaargh I'm confused, your green bean figure is different to the spreadsheet Confused and MFP (the bean figures I've been using) have them at 6.4g per 100g!

Beangate.

dustmotesinthesun · 24/05/2017 17:19

I've just popped out to the post office and now I'm a bit cross. I hate feeling all fat and hot in the sunshine. I know that even in a month i'll be feeling slimmer and that even slim people feel like beached whales sometimes when it's hot. But I've had so many years of trying to cover up in the heat and melting as a result. So sick of it. I've been feeling slim today and suddenly I feel lile a giant round tomato.

I hate being overweight. Hate it. I am determined that next summer i will be 2 stone down and i won't have this issue.

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 17:21

Lol, beangate indeed.

bellalurgy · 24/05/2017 17:26

Whoever suggested chia tea with almond milk, genius Grin Thanks, it was yum x

antimatter · 24/05/2017 17:28

re green beans - there will be different varieties hence difference in carb content
best to stick to what the individual package says
