Evening all!

I'm starting this thread now as I have to leave early for work tomorrow. and I know how keen you'll all be to weigh-in first thing, so won't want to wait until I can get round to getting it up and running Grin

Here's the link to the lovely shiny new Spreadsheet of Fabulousness ]] for which many thanks, SayrraT.

Your name should be on it, but if it isn't, just add it at the bottom. Don't try and re-alphabetise the list - Sayrra or Wombattoo will do that later.

And don't touch the blue cells!!!

I really really really hate this week. I'm so busy and it's stressing me out.
Keeping on though.

Today breakfast will be (after i get the dts to school) bacon, mushrooms and eggs cooked in butter.

Lunch: Tuna mayo and salad

Dinner: Again not too sure as DH is out but maybe pork chop and a creamy mustard sauce with fried courgettes.

Going away on friday for the weekend and trying to eat all the random things in my fridge.

Tomorrow breakfast will be full fat total yoghurt with some leftover cream mixed in and maybe some vanilla.
Lunch - left over randoms/ eggs of some description
Dinner - Fried halloumi wraps with lots of salad (DH is having normal wraps and I will used big lettuce leaves)

L238 · 24/05/2017 08:32

SayrraT - photos are absolutely amazing! Envious of your core strength

Also 2lb down here but know it's probably just water. Tummy is flatter though. Feeling good so far. Attempting LCHF cream cheese pancakes for breakfast

Have a good day all

OldBooks · 24/05/2017 08:34

Sayrra those photos are fantastic! You must be so pleased with them. My friend keeps asking me to join her at pole fit, maybe I should give it a go!

Bibs2014 · 24/05/2017 08:43

Took me all day and this morning to catch up on the thread Grin

Yesterday's menu

2 x sausages and scrambled egg
Lunch was halloumi, chorizo, salad, olives
Dinner was chicken thigh and drumstick - I know, not any veg but ate this on the go.

secretsignal · 24/05/2017 08:51

Hello all, bit late but can I join too? Have had a big wake up call and feeling v motivated. Have rtft and rules and will add myself to spreadsheet if that's ok.
B: 2 boiled eggs mashed with butter
L: will be prawn and avocado salad with mayo
D: don't know yet. Will look at recipe thread

2 litres of water ready to go

CaptainBraandPants · 24/05/2017 08:53

Good luck achange, hope it goes well. I'm dreadful at interviews, the only reason I got my last job was because no-one else applied. Grin
Nasch hope you feel better soon. Lots of salt, a bovril drink can be a quick and easy way to get it in.
Sayrra you look stunning and supple, very impressed.

Had a stressful start to the day, I turn into a grumpy middle-aged woman when people don't do their jobs as they should. I am also less tolerant before the first coffee of the day, but I've had it now, so slightly happier.

I got on the scales today. No idea what I weigh as I took the batteries out after weighing on Monday, just wanted to do it. GrinThanks Stunt for that suggestion.

Food today:
B: creamy coffee x2
L: frittata with veg and chorito in it
D: cauliflower chicken alfredo
S: olives, if need be. Also, probably an almond milk spicy chai latte.

secretsignal · 24/05/2017 08:54

Oh I can't do it Blush
Can someone add me please? Weighed in this morning at 154.8

CodLiverOil556 · 24/05/2017 08:56

So I've already lost 3lbs since starting on Monday...wow Grin it's not been too bad either

Pengweng · 24/05/2017 09:18

Breakfast changed to smoked salmon and cream cheese after there was some reduced in the shop. has cheered me up a bit Grin

sayraa you look fab!

glenthebattleostrich · 24/05/2017 09:19

Some fab losses on here, well done everyone.

Sayrra those pictures are amazing, you are an inspiration.

No movement on the scales but I fastened my jeans without looking like a hippo doing yoga this morning.

Today's food will be:

B babybell, chai tea with coconut oil and cream
L haloumi fried in coconut oil with big salad, possibly a keto muffin depending how hungry I am.
D homemade burger with cloud bread, cucumber sticks and cheese crisps.

I have jump combat tonight, aiming for 14000 steps today.

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 09:35

Thank you all so much! I am very pleased with the pictures (and myself Grin) especially because I wasn't sure about doing the shoot. Its not much of an exaggeration to say that most of the others doing pole have waists the size of my thigh!

OldBooks you should definitely do it! It's so much fun, and good for you! I warn you though driving after your first class will be hard! You feel muscles you didn't know you had Grin

BIWI · 24/05/2017 09:47

@achangeisgonnacome Good luck!!! With all of us behind you, cheering you on, you should smash it! Grin

@Naschkatze - you're breastfeeding so you need to eat more carbs than that. Have a piece of wholemeal toast (or any toast this morning, as it's a bit 'in extremis').

And also make sure you really are eating plenty of fat, and also getting enough salt. Take care today Flowers

cathyandclare · 24/05/2017 09:49

Fabulous pics Sayrra, were you a dancer before you started pole? There's a class in a village hall near me and i'm tempted but a bit chicken!
Well done on losses everyone, i'm an inveterate daily weigher too, I can't resist. 3lb down here too and already feeling better. I'm travelling today and away with work for a few days so it'll all be a bit challenging-but I feel like I'm in the zone.
B: Toasted oopsie rolls with butter and marmite
L: Something salady from M and S... am going to try the famous chorizo crisps too
S: the hotel does a good chicken caesar salad, so going for that without croutons

Enjoy the sun everyone!

SayrraT · 24/05/2017 09:55

No Cathy no dance background at all, not even when I was a wee kid. Go and give it a try!

Sunborn · 24/05/2017 10:01

I'm sorry about the lack of vegetables! I've been really busy this week, and haven't had time to plan. I only just got to the supermarket today.

So, my day will be:

B: yogurt
L: yogurt (both full fat)
D: salmon fillets, with tomatoes, peppers, and onions.

StuntNun · 24/05/2017 10:06

I hope you're feeling a little better now Nasch. You should be able to tolerate more carbs because you're breastfeeding so you could add in some fruit to keep your carbs a bit higher but from a healthy source.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 24/05/2017 10:09

Right, need to reign in the cheese and processed meats.

B: couple of spoons of Greek yoghurt before I left the house, then 2 boiled eggs, mushrooms with olive oil and a creamy coffee.

L: I am out for lunch today. I've looked at the menu and plan on having steak plus cabbage cooked with bacon.

D: TBC. Maybe smoked haddock with some veg in butter.

bellalurgy · 24/05/2017 10:14

Morning all Grin

Breakfast will be omelette with mushrooms and spinach
Lunch not sure, probably avocado and green salad
Dinner home made chicken and veg soup with a dollop of creme fraiche

Those pics are lovely sayrrat, you must have great muscle tone!

Back later to keep up with the thread x

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 10:29

So today I'm knackered. I haven't slept for the last two nights, and apparently I am exuding some sort of funny smell from my pores :(. Family assures me it's not my breath, it seems to be coming from my skin, even right after a shower. Wtf is that about? Anyway, I'm rigid with The Rules, am (just) managing to drink my 3.5 litres, I honestly couldn't face a drop more. I'm not eating processed food, I'm having lots of fat, lots of green veg cooked in butter and salt at every meal plus also eating avocado, salmon, chicken or eggs at each meal. Usually walk a 5k circuit every morning, just couldn't face it today. I'm not hungry, I'm just totally knackered, partly insomnia, partly just exhausted. I'm totally committed to keeping going, but what's the smell???

TimeIhadaNameChange · 24/05/2017 10:32

Can't believe how differently I feel about food. So much difference in only a week.

Then, my day would have looked something like:

B: two slices of white toast with high salt butter and banana, with a tsp of sugar (tbf the only time I add sugar to something so blatantly),

L: Ham sandwich (no butter) with about 4 or five pieces of fruit

Afternoon snack: 4 rice cakes

Early evening snack: chocolate biscuit or couple more pieces of fruit

Dinner: Something lowish fat but carby. No pudding, save on a Sunday (and poss Monday if leftovers) but would have to fight the craving for something sweet, and possibly a glass of something.

Now it's more like:
B - Total yoghurt
L - either a salad with ham or cheese, pastyless quiche or meatloaf (so far) plus dressing, Total yoghurt and maybe hoummous (though won't eat it all)
D - when I get round to it - something meaty with veg

Have taken cheese to work for snack but don't really eat it, and don't 'need' a snack in the evening either. The thought of food when I'm not hungry almost makes me feel sick, but not really in a bad way, just my stomach telling me it doesn't want anything else just now.

I've not been 100% strict - DP got some very good news yesterday and insisted I had a drink with him, but I only had the one. Other than that, though, I've not deviated since the pizza debacle Sunday. Considering the pile of biscuits currently taunting me in the kitchen, which I see every time I walk in there, and which I haven't touched, I'm impressed with myself.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 24/05/2017 10:33

Sounds like it could be ketosis ilove?

ShastaBeast · 24/05/2017 10:56

Back from the gym and very hot and sweaty. Had a sneaky weigh in and down half a pound. Pork crackling has arrived so I might have a packet for breakfast plus yoghurt. I was reading about how to avoid loose skin and working out with protein helps reduce muscle mass loss when losing weight. As does slow weight loss, but sadly that's the way it's happening for me anyway.

ilovecherries · 24/05/2017 10:59

Do you think so World. I assumed I was days away at least from that, and I only started on Monday after a late decision on Sunday. I've actually nodded off in my chair. Fortunately work for myself, no boss to keep happy :) Or to smell me, I guess!

TheWayOfTheWorld · 24/05/2017 11:15

I'm no expert ilove, just extrapolating as it can definitely cause bad breath. One of the experts will be along soon I'm sure 🙂

WorshipTheGourd · 24/05/2017 11:30

My scales arent accurate, and I'm 15miles from the nearest accurate ones.
slipped a bit y'day when scoffed some delish custard kids were having on plum crumble for pud (but avoided the crumble) but apart from that I've been good.
pounding headache this am so I must keep remembering:
IF YOU SLIP IT'S LIKE STARTING AGAIN! (shouts to self, not others)

Today, couldnt face brekkie but just had brunch of 1 whole (small) avocado, 1 drumstick with skin, lots of leaves, mayo, 3 cherry toms
dinner will be: 2 small pork chops with phillymustard sauce, broccoli, cauli.
