So our last week! Here's the Spreadsheet for its penultimate outing

One more week could see another couple of pounds off.

Fingers crossed, and good luck! Flowers

Sayrra, well done - those are fantastic NSVs

Well the final weigh is in a matter of hours away and I have had the worst case of the munchies I've had in months. I've tried to keep it all to low carb things, but I have done nothing but eat all day which is really frustrating as I was hoping for a strong finish.

Today I've eaten:
Milled Linseed/Chia Seed 'Porridge' with a few strawberries and single cream
2 x Tea with milk
2 x Coffees with Cream
50g of 85% chocolate
Salad with Halloumi, beetroot, coleslaw (shredded Cabbage, Carrot, Onion, Mayo)
3 babybels and a chunk of double gloucester
4 cups of Very Berry Tea
4 large glasses of water
Some rhubarb and blackberries stewed with stevia

And I'm still so desperate for food that I'm just about to make a stir fry with salmon and an entire colander full of veggies (cabbage, shallot, garlic, cauli and a bit of red pepper and carrot for colouring - with oyster and soy sauce).

I know my carbs are creeping back up. I'm going to try to keep them below 50g a day once BC finishes, and I'm up to 48g today already according to MFP. I just hope that the desperate need to eat everything in sight doesn't happen too often in future.

PissPotPourri · 16/04/2017 20:20

Sayrra that is awesome. So good to read such a positive thread. All of us here at the end should be proud, and it's even better to read that people are actually feeling proud. And hesdead, i think possibly the bloated feeling might not be completely down to what you ate. It sounds to me like you dodged some pretty big bullets! You're actually feeling down about a pretty small indescretion.
I've had the carbiest day since starting this BC with both fruit (strawberries) and carrots (in coleslaw). Not feeling too guilty though as i don't think that's the worst thing i could have done on Easter Sunday! DH was also very sensitive and bought this gift for me...

That's a very thoughtful gift PissPotPourri, made chuckle. DH got me a bottle of perfume, DD1 said she wants to give up chocolate next year of it means getting perfume instead!

BIWI · 16/04/2017 20:49

It's not the final weigh-in @greengoose21 - tomorrow is the start of our last week, so we'll have one more weigh in next Monday.

I thought tomorrow was our last too, pleased we have another week left!

greengoose21 · 16/04/2017 20:52

Really Biwi, oh you've made my day? Grin

SayrraT · 16/04/2017 21:02

Grin love that gift!

BIWI · 16/04/2017 21:45

Fab gift! Your DH truly loves you! Grin

I fucked up today. But I'm forgiving myself.

The house has been full of people and full of food. I've been over-exhausted and a particularly toxic relative has sent my stress levels sky high. At the end of the day I have a food addiction and whilst I think 90% of the time it's under control, over-tiredness plus stress results in binging. Coupled with my feeling sorry for myself over my scale gain and I was at high risk of it happening

As binges go, it wasn't bad. Some chocolate (really not lots) and a piece of cake. What made it a binge for me was just the eating emotionally thing and not being in control. It isn't disastrous.

Trying to be really really kind to myself and say, you know what, I'm human. We all slip up sometimes. It could be worse. I've been so strict the last month. What I should have done is stock up on lots of lovely berries and maybe some double cream to make keto mousse so as to have a treat planned out for when the cake tempted me. Or to have had a smaller piece of cake when I first craved it so I didn't feel deprived.

It has been such a stressful day, I just want to get on with tomorrow and get back to making good choices.

thenightsky · 16/04/2017 23:12

Slight balls up. Quarter of a dark choc egg (tesco finest). Rest given away to DH and DS. Have drunk a bottle of dry brut cava though Blush

Rest of day was ok.. Breakfast was creamy coffee. Lunch was broccoli and stilton soup made according to LC recipe thread. Dinner was moussaka made according to recipe thread.

Loads of water on and off all day.

SayrraT · 17/04/2017 07:31

thenight and dog both of your slip ups will be fine I think if you get back on track immediately so don't worry too much.

Food Yesterday

B: coffee with cream, toasted protein roll
L: steak with garlic mushrooms
S: mascarpone with berries and dark chocolate
D: duck breast with kale

Out of interest those of you who are around 150/160 lbs, what size are you (also height?). I'd say that's my aim but obviously I might review it when I get there as a 'healthy' weight is 140 ish I think. At the moment I can't imagine being as small as 160 lbs though I know that it will still be overweight.

PissPotPourri · 17/04/2017 07:39

Morning Sayrra, I don't know if this helps, but I'm 148lb currently. I'm 5ft8 and a size 12.
I think you've done extraordinarily well on this BC and i think you will get to your goal. You sound focused and positive.

SayrraT · 17/04/2017 08:01

Thanks pisspot I really hope I do, the first year I did bc I did well but then 2015/16 happened and live was just stressful and I couldn't deal with managing my weight as well.

This time I am going to do it! I feel positive, life in general is better and I know that I need to stick at it even though bumpy bits.

For me my size is more important than how I look, I think I'm quite fortunate that I don't look as heavy as I am (might be in denial!). I tend to be the same size as I am in stone so I predict that at 12 stone I'd be size 12 which I'd be delighted with Grin

CaptainBraandPants · 17/04/2017 08:03

Great gift Piss Grin
I also thought it was the last weigh in today, so pleased it's not. Although, I was planning on continuing anyway.
Dog and Thenight Flowers Yesterday is over and done with, get your water at the ready and koko.
Sayrra I'm 5'2" and 157.4 lbs as of today as I've finally lost 2lbs this week. Yay! Sorry, got waylaid, but I am a size 14. I find it interesting how different weights for different people equate to the same dress size. For example, when I am 148lbs , like Piss, I am a comfortable size 12, even though I am 6 inches shorter!

wombattoo · 17/04/2017 08:03

Good morning all.
I also thought today was the final weigh in. I'm kinda glad that there is still another week Grin

wombattoo · 17/04/2017 08:06

I am 5' 4" and at 12 stone I am a size 14. I also don't look as heavy as I am or so I am told

BIWI · 17/04/2017 08:12
Blush

Sorry all, today is the last weigh-in. I was thinking we had another week, but last week was the last week.

However, this chat thread will continue, so no reason not to continue having a weigh-in each Monday until the next Bootcamp starts, probably mid May.

Sorry, sorry, sorry ...

SayrraT · 17/04/2017 08:26

Thanks Grin I styled it especially.

PissPotPourri · 17/04/2017 08:32

Ha BIWI , i was wondering why the thread was called "last week" if it wasn't!
Captain, sizes are interesting. Body shapes are different and suit different sizes i guess. I'm fairly hourglass/pearshaped and judge clothes by my bottom half where i carry my weight. So size 12 at this weight, on average. Top half i need smaller, but tend to shop at Pepperberry because i have bigger boobs.

PissPotPourri · 17/04/2017 08:34

Actually, saying that, i just put on my skinny jeans from the tumble dryer, and i have to say... They're baggy. I don't feel thinner because I've been STS the last three weeks, but maybe I'm experiencing what some of you have said and losing weight without losing weight iyswim!

Whyarethebestnamestaken · 17/04/2017 08:54

Well I made the flaxbread a couple of days ago and it is very filling! Not sure that I like it much as it made me feel a bit uncom
fortable and I had the runs!

I had 2 slices with butter and marmite and could not finish it which is unheard of for me so will have less next time and see if that is better.

What is the lowest carb BBQ sauce that I can buy ? I would appreciate it if anyone knows of one.

Also I have looked in Asda and Sainsburys and all their grated cheese has the potato starch added. Any ideas where I could buy it without that (I know I could grate my own) lol.

Kleptronic · 17/04/2017 09:36

I don't think you can get grated cheese without it Why, they put it in so it doesn't stick together.

Leostar · 17/04/2017 09:37

The spreadsheet says the last weigh-in is the 24th April.....can we go for one more week pretty please!!
