Evening all!

Just getting this out there, so that everyone knows where to go/what to do in the morning.

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I'd like to say a massive thank you and Flowers to Sayrra and Wombattoo who set this up and maintain it for us all.

PLEASE don't touch anything other than the cell where you input your weight.

If your name isn't on the list, just add it to the bottom, and it will be magically re-alphabetised to include you.

It's called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness because of all the information and resources that are available to us. Look at the tabs at the bottom - the rules are there, along with the veg counter, and all manner of resources for you to read up more about low carbing.

If you can't access it, or can't input your weight, just add your weight to the chat thread, and someone will do it for you. (I believe it's difficult to do it from your phone).

But more than anything else, a massive good luck to you all!

All I can say to you is follow the rules!

It does work, but only if you follow them.

Good luck everyone.

Thanks BIWI :)

My dinner had spinach in it last night but I didn't add extra salt, so I'll be doing that today!

ASDismynormality · 12/02/2017 12:25

I had a much better sleep last night. Had a bullet proof coffee for breakfast then went to the gym. It's been such a long time since I've actually had any energy. Until December I was on antidepressants which made me feel like a zombie, stopping those and eating better had really helped me feel so much better.

Musicianofbremen · 12/02/2017 12:42

😃 Imiss I've just been to patisserie Valerie and only had a black coffee. Serious will power.

playmobilpeacock · 12/02/2017 12:53

I'm impressed Musician

BIWI · 12/02/2017 13:03

Respect!

On the masochistic note, I've just warmed some sausage rolls in the oven, so their lovely, sausagey smell has pervaded the whole downstairs. I will resist.
Planning omelette for lunch and roast beef with all the trimmings for dinner. I won't have roasties or Yorkshire puds, though.
Feeling good now I'm no longer premenstrual. Don't think I will have lost much/ anything tomorrow though.
Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow everyone, especially those who are just starting. Flowers

I'm pleased to report that my new gym stuff that last weekend qualified as 'definitely can't wear this quite yet' today was 'ok as long as you remember to breathe in all the time' Grin

It's the only way to measure progress at the moment, for me, as the battery in my scales is dead, and I keep forgetting to get a new one.

OP posts:
dementedma · 12/02/2017 14:27

Breakfast - yoghurt
Lunch - bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes cooked in coconut oil
Snacks - olives.

I will be beyond gutted if scales don't show a loss tomorrow.

BIWI · 12/02/2017 15:36

Last night's lovely (even if I say so myself!) roast pork, with fantastic crackling

Looks wet and cold and miserable outside today, so we've been hibernating. Yaaawn... Definitely no extra energy for me right now.

B: smoothie with avocado, spinach and almond milk
L: IPD moussaka off the recipe thread - very nice - and bit of greek yoghurt for pudding
D: I'll make a cheese, pepper and shallot omelette, if I get hungry; otherwise might just snack on olives and pepper.

I've also been having milk in my tea today - just really missed it.

I don't know what to expect tomorrow morning. I don't usually have huge losses even to begin with, so expecting a couple of pounds maybe.

StuntNun · 12/02/2017 16:05

Owl be careful with balsamic vinegar as it has carbs in. I prefer sherry vinegar which has a somewhat similar flavour but isn't sweet.

I had a long drive today with my two youngest in the car and succumbed to a cafe latte at a service station drive through Starbucks. I was getting tired and couldn't face another black coffee. I got home and looked up the nutrition information and it's 14.8g carbs in a tall latte! Shock It was probably worth it for giving me an energy boost but I won't make that mistake again.

mrwalkensir · 12/02/2017 16:10

Just had the ff greek yoghurt with cinnamon - surprised how nice it was. Realise half the fluctuating sleep pattern stuff might be that we're still getting over the 3 week + cold - DP is in similar disrupted pattern. Well done on the gym kit front BIWI (referred to mine as PE kit the other day which amused DP)

Glitterkitten24 · 12/02/2017 16:55

I burst for the first time in a week today- we were out for a picnic with the kids and I'd bought clementine and white chocolate cookies for everyone else- they looked and smelled so good I succumbed and had half of one.

I'm still using MFP to track my meals/ water and when I entered it, it actually only had 6g carbs in the wee bit I had- I'm
Ok with that!

B- ff Greek yoghurt
L- m&s picnic, Greek salad with feta and olives, chilli chicken breast, few cocktail sausages, half an illicit cookie.
D - roast chicken thighs, Brussels, mange tout.

Struggling with water today- will drink a couple of litres when I get home and near a toilet!

Imissmy0ldusername · 12/02/2017 17:38

Hum. Dinner tonight is going to be odd. I have a craving for something sausagey. Assuming that there's an open shop somewhere in my vicinity, does anyone have any recommendations for the ones with the lowest carbs?

BIWI · 12/02/2017 17:40

The Black Farmer ones are great - really tasty and very low carb

OP posts:
wombattoo · 12/02/2017 17:47

Imiss I think Black Farmers are low in carbs. Also Andrew & Debbie (or something similar) are low. Generally better quality, more meat content.
Playmobil I took Magnesium for 3 months and it didn't assist with the bowel issues. I may try the sparkling ones - thank you
BIWI That is a good result re the gym gear. Clothes fitting better is a big motivator for me.

wombattoo · 12/02/2017 17:47

Sorry x post as I type so slowly Blush

Imissmy0ldusername · 12/02/2017 17:52

Thanks all! I've resisted the tea room cakes, random offers of soup from DM, and eggs all day. I do, however need to neck about 2l water when I get home. DM was very impressed with how clear and unfuzzy my tongue is, btw Grin

Have you checked out the recipe thread? Loads of vegetarian things on there.

Thanks for pointing me in right direction BIWI. Will have a look now.

Musicianofbremen · 12/02/2017 18:22

Is cocoa powder very carby? I am thinking about having some with watered down double cream as "hot chocolate".

HeyRoly · 12/02/2017 18:26

It would probably be a bit gross, bremen, but you can make an easy ganache with a few small squares of dark choc. Melt in microwave (better to not-quite-melt than overdo it and seize the chocolate - leave to sit for a few minutes and it'll melt under its own heat anyway) then pour own cold double cream and stir well. It thickens to a lovely dessert type consistency.

StuntNun · 12/02/2017 18:48

I make ganache by heating the cream and pouring it over the chocolate. I wonder if there's a correct official method?
