Come and sign up here if you want to join us - a 10 week camp this time, as per usual.

Added myself on list. Massively ready for it.

wombattoo · 05/02/2017 19:05

Welcome back Stunt and Sayrra - Sayrra 13lbs is fantastic. I'm glad to hear that things are back on track for you Thanks

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 05/02/2017 19:08

Possible a stupid question, can I join if I'm following Dukan 7steps? I assume LC is much the same. Apologies am new to this.

wombattoo · 05/02/2017 19:12

Hello Heff - no such thing as a stupid question. I don't really know what Dukan involves. Have you looked at BIWI'S prep thread? It contains the rules for bootcamp. I think there is a link upthread. You will able to see if the 2 are compatible. Good luck

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 05/02/2017 19:16

Thanks wombatto will check, Dukan is high protein low carb so for here's hoping.

wombattoo · 05/02/2017 19:18

Prep thread

Here is the link to the thread BIWI posted

HeffalumpsnWoozles · 05/02/2017 19:21

Thank you, just had a read & despite most of it being the same principals there's a few bits that won't match up. Will see how I get on and could well join up for the next boot camp if Dukan isn't doing the trick.

wombattoo · 05/02/2017 19:25

You can join in anytime Heff. This bootcamp will be running for 12 weeks I think.
Hope you find what works for you Thanks

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 19:44

I am about to set up the spreadsheet. Names added after this post will need to be added to the sheet tomorrow morning.

P.S this is the first time I've been on my laptop in ages and I've just spotted Gin!

Week 1 thread is here

OP posts:
BIWI · 05/02/2017 20:29

Heffalumps I don't think there's a lot of fit with Dukan, if I'm honest. And I don't really think Dukan is truly low carb - all that oatbran really isn't low carb. Plus he allows artificial sweeteners.

But it's obviously up to you which method you choose - it has to be something that will work for you!

I'm in! lost a stone and a half on this exact bootcamp 2 years ago. have mostly kept it off but some crept back on over the autumn and I could do with the discipline of a proper bootcamp

Though I'm not sure I'll be able to totally avoid fruit for two weeks. Chocolate, biscuits, alcohol yes, even though I do eat them now. But Fruit is going to be the hard one...

BIWI · 06/02/2017 20:34

I'm afraid you really have to. Fruit will add too much carb to your diet. Plus, we're also trying to break the hold over us that our sweet tooth has.

OP posts:
Youcandoit36 · 06/02/2017 23:44

I would like to join pls

SilverdaleGlen · 06/02/2017 23:49

Me too, though I have no idea what to eat and have been rubbing. My day has been-

Weetabix
Stuffed pasta
Hallumi chorizo and grapes

Guess it's better than the 2 cream eggs and Chinese takeaway I snarfed yesterday though Blush

SilverdaleGlen · 06/02/2017 23:49

Rubbing? Hmm rubbish!

Youcandoit36 · 06/02/2017 23:52

I have cereal twice a day most days! Have about 4 stone to lose :(. Very busy life too

BIWI · 07/02/2017 09:34

Cereal twice a day will not be doing you any favours, honestly. Along with a glass of fruit juice, it's probably one of the worst breakfasts/meals you could have, from a blood sugar point of view.

Come and join us on the week 1 thread, and read up on the rules of Bootcamp which are all linked to on the spreadsheet (tabs on the bottom)

SylviasDaughter · 27/02/2017 22:00

Spectacularly late to the party!
BIWI can I jump in, or shall I wait til the next go round?

TIA
