Morning all.

The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you all

So this weigh-in might be a bit testing for you all (not least because I can see that there's some struggling cheating going on).

Remember that weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for the lack of weight loss, so if this is happening to you, don't panic! KOKO and things will get moving again soon. Honestly!

But that said, it's also important to remember that we have only been doing this for 3 weeks. I know it probably feels like a lifetime Grin Hopefully you've settled into low carbing, and you should be enjoying your food, without any sense of deprivation that a low calorie/low fat diet can often bring.

Why not go and have a read of the recipe thread (stickied at the top of the Bootcamp topic) for some inspiration for something different to cook this week? That way, you'll keep your interest going and it will help to keep you on track.

Good luck, and here's to a successful week Flowers

More good losses - well done Smile

DH has joined me in low carbing today. He's been so impressed that you can eat such nice food and still lose weight. He's stopped saying 'and you can eat all that fat?'. Slightly annoying that he'll lose much more quickly than me, but on the plus side he will cook before I get home from work.

B - Coffee with cream
L - 1/2 can of tuna, Mayo, salad, avocado
S - rest of the tuna with mayo
D - Chicken with rosemary and a tiny bit of soy sauce, fried leeks/cabbage/spinach

3lb off this week. Struggling a bit with dinner time with the kids because they are v big carb fans (pasta, rice, potato). Breakfast is ok because we all eat separate things, lunch I'm at work but dinner is tough as they are ravenous and want fed but then I don't want to eat something different to them as I want them to eat but if I wait til they are in bed I am really hungry and struggle not to grab toast or crackers or cereal!

bettyblueeyes83 · 14/11/2016 20:52

Hmm first day back at IF not the greatest success, feel hungry and tired.

B: black coffee
L: two eggs scrambled with pesto, half an avocado, cherry toms and radishes
D: pork belly and chorizo stew with butter kale
S: gin and slimline tonic, way too many nuts

WentworthMillerMad · 14/11/2016 21:15

2lb off this week so that's a stone in total. I am starting to feel like the old me again. I found this weekend very tough as was at home a lot but that was my 4th booze free weekend!! Don't drink in the week but had to fight the Friday night wine o clock with a fruit tea. Find the working week much easier.

prettybird · 14/11/2016 22:35

1lb off this week - but after my 7lb off in my 1st week (so last week was only week 2 for me), I'm still pleased with an 8lb loss over 2 weeks. still a looooong way to go Smile

Had a lovely supper this evening: a made up recipe of shallots, garlic, bacon, courgette ribbons, king prawns, lemon juice, thyme and cream. Mixed it in with fusilli for dh and ds and had it on its own myself.

StuntNun · 14/11/2016 22:43

I missed out on breakfast this morning but managed to snag two hard boiled eggs with mustard mayo from the Co-op. I only had the tiniest smidge of mustard mayo so not too many carbs for me. Lunch was mussels (made by my mum) and dinner was baked salmon with courgettes fried in butter. Nowhere near enough veg today so will have to eat extra tomorrow!

Piscivorus · 14/11/2016 22:51

I've been shit as have had this awful chest infection so have alternated between not eating as felt ill and indulging myself. No excuses really but need to get back on things now

I'm about a stone above the lowest weight I got to on one of the earliest bootcamps so am living in hope I might get back near there by Christmas

Isn't is weird how the scales can stay the same yet you can see and feel a difference?

feekerry · 15/11/2016 19:25

Ye def reader77. My work trousers are much looser but scales not moving
Tis the season and all that wombattoo......not to get fat

wombattoo · 15/11/2016 19:41

I treat myself to alcohol every most weekends. If I'm out, I try to stick to vodka and soda.
reader I am always wittering on about how my scales hardly moved by I went down a size in clothes.

bettyblueeyes83 · 15/11/2016 20:28

Bit less tired and eat-everything-in-sight today, so I'm taking that as a victory. Optimistically ordered new jeans and gym leggings in size 12 which arrived tonight - they are, shall we say, snug Blush so that's more motivation to lose a decent bit more!

B: black coffee
L: scrambled eggs with pesto and cheese, avocado, cherry toms and radishes
D: chorizo and pork stew, make, tender stem broccoli
S: Greek yog/cream with raspberries, Macadamias and coconut flakes

boldlygoingsomewhere · 15/11/2016 20:30

I've stayed the same this week but did have a carby day with work so not a big surprise. We are starting to get more people bringing in 'treats' now in the run-up to Christmas. I'm trying to resist but have possibly been over compensating with dark chocolate. Blush

PushToOpen · 16/11/2016 07:48

BIWI (I've always wondered what that stood for!) I'm in a pickle.

Is it possible that LC just isn't for me?
I'm on day 13 (I'm late to the game). By day 6 I'd gone from 10st 2 to 10st. So 2lb loss!

But today, day 13 I'm 10st 1lb.

The only thing I did 'bad' was eat the crispy bit of the outside of a roast potato on Sunday and drink a lot of wine on Sunday. All the rest of the time I've kept under 20g of carbs.

Could that one day have screwed up 2 weeks of being good?!

If so, then I don't think LC is for me. If I can't even buckle for half a day once a fortnight.

On the other hand. When I look in the mirror both my husband and I think it looks as though I've lost weight. I supposed that could just be the carb bloat gone?

Also, I'm slap bang in the middle of my period which is very light. I suffer from horrendously heavy periods usually. Could I thank LC for this or is it a coincidence?

Anyway, I've not done well with weight loss and I've just seen that week 3-4 seem to trail off weight loss wise.

Should I look for another diet?

I did paelo for 2 years successfully but simply got bored of it, so ended up putting on a stone in the last few months.

The will power is there! So it isn't that.

NotdeadyetBOING · 16/11/2016 07:58

Morning all, fellow low-carbers. Annoyed with myself as had a v. naughty day yesterday. Lots of bread and chocolate also. Just pathetic. I had been so good until now .I think I was frustrated because after a great loss in the first 10 days I stalled. I also think I haven't been drinking enough water. Trying not to let it throw me and get back to it today. GRRR…. Hope everyone else is doing better!

RJnomore1 · 16/11/2016 08:29

Im now quite sure my scales are broken as they say I've lost another 2.1kg. This can't be right can it??

plumstone · 16/11/2016 08:35

Must stop weighing myself every morning!!!

achangeisgonnacome · 16/11/2016 08:46

A 1lb loss for me this week.

Am pleased with that as know I've had a few sneaky carbs

I can't seem to stop myself- yesterday I was good all day and most of the evening. Got home and DS offered a slice of pizza which I ate without thinking.

TBH that has always been my issue- mindless eating. Any tips on how I can stop that?

Thing101 · 16/11/2016 10:10

achange - I find mindless eating the worst too. It's almost like sleep eating! I kind of come to and feel really bad that I've been so greedy. The only thing I can really do about it is have nothing dangerous in the house (tricky with DC's) and have planned ahead what I am going to eat. I find sometimes I just feel really hungry say when I get home from work after school - that is one of my worst times - so I just go ahead and have my supper then, sometimes by 3.45! But then I'm full of something good rather than loads of crap, and if I get hungry later I seem to be able to make a more considered choice.

Dillite2 · 16/11/2016 10:58

I am here! I am behind everyone as my previous job was not low carb friendly- 12 hour shifts in a freezing warehouse with only 2 toilet breaks a day do not make a joyful low carbing. The last thing you want to eat is a cold salad with cold eggs- no microwave or frodge there.

Anyway, I am on day 7 of lc, and today my first period in 6 years has arrived and I am absolutely fucking STARVING and craving sugar like a motherfucker. I swear I nearly swallowed co-op's bakery section when I went in there today. Had to settle for a packet of pork scratchings instead.

Can I have some ideas for travel friendly snacks that don't need to be kept cold? Other than pork scratchings or parmesan crisps.
