Morning all!

for the last time this Bootcamp, is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness

I hope that this Bootcamp has been successful for you. I have to say, it's been one of the most trouble-free Grin

I'm certainly carrying on, and with a bit more focus Blush given that we now have a holiday booked in 11 weeks time, that will mean I need to be ready to don a swimsuit.

An almost good day today!

B: Fried eggs for breakfast
L: cheese salad for lunch
D: omlette with courgettes for dinner. Also, yogurt with double cream for dessert.

S: Two spoons of peanut butter.

BUT I did also have a hot chocolate today. Was out with the kids and half way through more then a little frazzled what with a child who needed a nap and the other one ratty from not sleeping well and what seemed like a long journey on public transport. It was comfort eating. Or rather drinking. When they asked if I wanted the squirty cream and chocolate dusting I said yes too. Blush

Welcome here and thanks wombat for the encouraging words!

IndianaJone · 16/08/2016 23:05

Overcome I'm drawing the veil over all that for you! Wink Tomorrow is a new day - for me too. No carby treats shall stray past!

lasttimeround · 17/08/2016 09:36

I am back on the wagon after a 2 week unintentional break. Scary how I can't stop eating with carbs. My appetite is just roaring. Much better now I'm back on low carb.

lasttimeround · 17/08/2016 10:10

Just read a few posts back. Well done all you losers. Ha ha see what I did there?
V excited about the person about to smash through the 200 pound barrier. Go go go
I've had a few of those unmissable summer treats but the full on lapse into carb driven hunger hasn't proved worth it.
Schools back here and I feel I can be stricter for a good while. One of my old tops fit me today and I'm sooo pleased to be wearing it again. That alone will be huge ammo against carbs this week. I put my old wardrobe into storage and would love to have it back.

Orgasmic duck??!

StuntNun · 17/08/2016 15:10

Try it Herecomesthesun and you'll find out where the nickname comes from. It was a firm favourite on a Bootcamp a couple of years back although it was a bit cheaper then.

wombattoo · 17/08/2016 17:28

Hi everyone.
Sorry I've been absent a couple of days, real life got in the way Grin, but I'm still here koko.

Carriadd · 17/08/2016 17:53

I know its nearly the end but Im joining the thread to try and be accountable. Im doing paleo but there is nothing on here for me and it is lowish carb. Hope thats ok. I will not put my meals up as I dont eat dairy or cheese or processed food but I do eat sweet potatoes, all veg and fruit and still managed to lose nearly 2 stone. I may post when everyone is on bootcamp light when this finishes though :)

BIWI · 17/08/2016 18:46

Back from a week's holiday - 4 days golfing in France and 3 days up with my dad.

Food has been lovely awful, so I have now to buckle down and start my campaign for my October holiday. I don't think I'll be 'bikini-ready' but I need to at least stop looking like something that will frighten the children away on the beach!

Oooo sounds like a plan BIWI. So how many weeks do you have to play with?

BIWI · 17/08/2016 22:16

7 weeks! Eeek!

OP posts:
Carriadd · 17/08/2016 23:36

7 weeks. Nearly 2 months. BIWI . I know you have been doing this for a long time but how much do you think you could lose in that time? I needed a kick up the bum as I havnt gained but haven't lost either for 7 months. I want to start losing again so need to do this with renewed vigour.

lasttimeround · 18/08/2016 09:51

Will keep an eye out for that duck

Yesterday
B - greek yoghurt
L- chicken tikka all and garlic crefee celery
D- smoked salmon in creme fraiche celery
S - smoked salmon and cream cheese, Cheddar

Today
B - bp coffee
L- chicken tikka and garlic crefee spinach
D- smoked salmon cream cheese and salad
S- sausage, Cheddar

It's going ok. I'm not yet in that amazing place I was in preparation holiday where I was fully keto and eating 1000 cals a day but feeling great snd weight was just falling off me. And weight foes not usually fall off me it falls on

I need to take my magnesium again snd up salt. I need to plan some different food as I'm getting bored and it's a bit too much processed meat.

KOKO folks

lasttimeround · 18/08/2016 09:52

Good luck with your bikini camp BIWI

PsychResearcher · 18/08/2016 10:11

Hello,
I have just seen this thread and the topics of weight, holidays and swimsuits on here.

I am a psychologist and have an academic survey open right now on the NFP (Not for profit) survey thread around these very topics, which I'd very much appreciate if you could complete. It takes just 5-10 minutes.

I'm not allowed to post the survey here, but if you could pop over there and click the link (it's my only post on MN), I'd be very grateful. There's lots more information about it too there and within the survey itself.

Thank you.

IndianaJone · 18/08/2016 15:41

If anyone can do it BIWI it's you! A good day so far for me... Eggs for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch and dinner to be decided. Two cups of coffee with cream.

BIWI · 18/08/2016 16:14

Ideally 7 weeks should equate to 14lbs, but I know it's not as easy as that!

My strategy is to go with 16:8 as much as I can (which really just equates to not eating anything for 16 hours - so if I have dinner at 8pm, then I eat the next day any time after 12 noon. And then low carb options for lunch and dinner. My difficulty is always the weekend, and the temptation of alcohol! But as far as possible I'm avoiding wine, and if I do have a drink, going for golden rum and sparkling water.

My main focus is going to be what I look like/what clothes I can fit into. I don't really want to buy anything new as I have loads of summer stuff - but I would like to be the right size to fit into it Smile

Hello everyone.
Welcome Carriad. Boot camp is over so the thread is a bit quiet, but you're more than welcome to join in.
Unfortunately, I have fallen into a pit of carb hell over the last week or so. I don't intend to stay there as I can already feel how bloated my stomach has become Blush
I know what I need to do and I am determined to do it.
