Morning all!

for the last time this Bootcamp, is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness

I hope that this Bootcamp has been successful for you. I have to say, it's been one of the most trouble-free Grin

I'm certainly carrying on, and with a bit more focus Blush given that we now have a holiday booked in 11 weeks time, that will mean I need to be ready to don a swimsuit.

Welcome bambam.
There is no limit on eggs. Somewhere on this thread is a link to the spreadsheet - posted by BIWI (I don't think the link in the OP works) On the tabs along the bottom, you will find the rules.
Mainly, the carbs you eat should come from veg. No fruit if you are doing bootcamp, berries if you are doing bc lite. Beware of dairy as it can stall some people and you MUST drink water. At least 2l, more depending on your weight.

MothershipG · 11/08/2016 21:16

Today on the beach at Great Yarmouth I had the long awaited 99! Sadly it wasn't as lovely as I'd hoped! Hmm I never in a million years thought I'd say this but it was too sweet!! And the flake tasted slightly stale. Oh well, I certainly won't be wanting another one Smile

Incidentally I had no idea how rough Gt Yarmouth is! Never been before, won't bother going again, even though the beach was huge and looked lovely.

wombattoo · 12/08/2016 20:54

Mother lol at how rough it was. I've never been, but I know what you mean about the 99 and how the flake tasted stale. I had the exact same experience several months ago

Wom & Over I have selflessly consumed those disappointing carbs so that you don't have to!

Honestly I think I may have built it up in my imagination a little too much! I also should have got it in Southwold not GY, I'm sure it would have been much nicer. GrinGrinGrin

Enjoy your holidays whatever ice cream route you choose to go down - or not!

StuntNun · 14/08/2016 10:48

I ate 23 eggs in three days once with no ill effects!

wombattoo · 14/08/2016 11:18

Stunt I remember your egg fast. 23 is amazing. I love eggs but I think that would be more than I could face Envy

MothershipG · 14/08/2016 15:46

Did the people around you agree that there were no ill effects Stunt? Grin Wink

Eva50 · 14/08/2016 16:32

I've lost absolutely nothing since I finished the 10 weeks. On a cheerier note I haven't gained anything either. I'm starting a personal two week bootcamp tomorrow (well dh is doing it too) to try and get things on the move again. Then I can bootcamp lite until the next official one starts. When will that be?

wombattoo · 14/08/2016 17:19

Hi Eva I'm starting again tomorrow as I do every monday Grin

I would think the next bootcamp will be the pre christmas one, sometime in October.

wombattoo · 14/08/2016 17:20

That is if BIWI isn't fed up with us and Sayrra has time to set up the spreadsheet Grin

StuntNun · 14/08/2016 18:38

If anyone wants additional support between Bootcamps then why not try my company Ways of Eating. We have a coached low carb program and also a free program without coaching called Fixing Dad. There's also a free trial week. If anyone is signing up for a coached program then PM me for a £10 off code.

Glad you enjoyed your ice cream Experience Overcome.

I'm still here floating around. Keep falling off the wagon. I'm mostly on it but picking at small bits here and there so I've just stalled. Feeling really demotivated. Sad

I don't know how you managed 23 eggs Stunt! I tried to eat a 3 egg omlette today and really struggled.

MothershipG · 15/08/2016 07:20

Overcome I am jealous of your perfect ice-cream experience, it sounds delicious!

Just weighed myself and am really pleased that I haven't put any weight on during my 2 weeks of holiday eating very loose low carb and the odd disappointing treat.

Back to work today and back on the wagon with 2 weeks of no nuts, no fruit, no dairy, strict BC, 28lbs to go!

WilfSell · 15/08/2016 08:14

Back off hols and monday morning weigh in and WOOOOOOP. I have lost 3.5lbs!!!

That is a world first. I don't think I've ever been on a two week holiday and not put on half a stone. And I drank LOTS of wine and cider so the discipline elsewhere really helped.

People have started commenting now that I've lost two stone so really happy.

And supermotivated now. I'm taking it seriously this time instead of faffing about as am determined not to be fat and fifty!

Able to tell you now, with no more shame and embarrassment, that I am 201lbs so just two off being under 200 and just six away from being in the 13s. One stone and a bit away from my "50lbs by 50" original goals and about 2.5-3 stone away from a weight I'd be happy with.

It's a long journey for me. Thank you for all the support here.

Wow wilf! That's great Smileand mothership I'm so impressed with the holiday results!

I'm restarting (again!) today like some others I see Grin. Why I always wait for a Monday I'm not sure but I weighed in today and I'm only a pound away from being back in the 180's so that was a bit of a wake up call...

bettyblueeyes83 · 15/08/2016 11:12

Amazing holiday losses, this is very inspiring for my holiday next week. Why did I choose Italy?! But am determine not to come back with a big gain and undo all the hard work.

I'm another one starting the week intending to be stricter again. Good week last week (including my first Parkrun since I got injured and a 30k bike ride) but overdid it at a BBQ last night (Aperol Spritz, vegetable crisps, hummus, fruit salad, and dark chocolate may have been involved) so am 1lb up this am. Going to do 16:8 with black coffee or BPC each day. And going back to logging my food here as I've stopped and it's not helping!

Today will be:

B: BPC
L: eggs scrambled in butter with avocado and some leftover roast veg
D: Smoked mackerel pate with salad
S: I'll probably have some Greek yog as a pudding tonight but am going to avoid fruit and nuts this week!

MaryThorne · 15/08/2016 13:43

Just stopping by to mark place. I've just made this mayonnaise- delicious and dead easy to do!

IndianaJone · 15/08/2016 14:09

You guys are doing so well!! I'm inspired and back on it. Today I've had two coffees with cream and omlette with courgettes with a splash of soy sauce. Lettuce leaves to wrap around and a bit of mayo. Quite lovely!

wombattoo · 15/08/2016 16:50

Hi everyone.
Wilf that is amazing. Well done.
Mother it's also great that you managed your hols with no weight gain.
Stick with it Indiana I think we all get a bit stalled off from time to time.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 16/08/2016 07:03

Well done,Wilf and Mother.

I fell of the wagon a bit this weekend - first slice of pizza since bootcamp started! Feeling very bloated still but fasting today to try and kickstart the weight loss again. I need to give myself a couple of stricter weeks as I think too many nuts/squares of dark chocolate are creeping in.

herecomesthsun · 16/08/2016 18:37

Hello. I used low carbing to lose 2 stone after my kids were born but have pretty much regained it all plus I think some more - I am now just under 5" 9" at 92kg or 14stone 6ish. I have a BMI of 31ish.

One part of my downfall was that I hurt my ankle and perforce stopped moving last year and another part was that our scales at home bust.

I still mainly eat low carb - hoping this would ward off further weight gain and also help with my potential for getting diabetes.

I went to a zumba class today and I have also recently joined the gym.

However, I measured myself thinking of on line shopping for a friend's wedding, and my measurements came back as 44". 37" and 48'5" - this bit was over what I was expecting!

I think when I was around this weight before my wedding I was 41, 34, 47, mind you this was ahem some 11 years ago and before I had the kids.

I am thinking some serious measurement reduction is in order- have already joined the gym.

Possibly I should not have offered to do pizzas for a kids club on Thurs...
