Morning all!

for the last time this Bootcamp, is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness

I hope that this Bootcamp has been successful for you. I have to say, it's been one of the most trouble-free Grin

I'm certainly carrying on, and with a bit more focus Blush given that we now have a holiday booked in 11 weeks time, that will mean I need to be ready to don a swimsuit.

Hi all
BIWI thanks for directing me here - unfortunately the link to the spreadsheet isn't working for me? It takes me to an error page, can anyone help? :)

Urgh, I've eaten far too much today. All pretty low carb but was just really peckish and craving salty stuff, so I've definitely over eaten, don't even want to list it. It's either because of my long walk yesterday or because I ate more carbs than usual yesterday and I've got a hungry carb hangover. Or I seem to go in cycles where sometimes I'm properly on it and not hungry and sometimes I just want to EAT. Ho hum. Hopefully will feel more in control tomorrow.

As long as it's all been low carb stuff, you should be fine.

If anyone subscribes to Diet Doctor, I can highly recommend watching the documentary "Cereal Killers" which is available on there and the follow up is interesting too. I have watched both over the past week as well as the new "Big Fat Fix" from the same producer (which is great although had to pay separately for it - well worth a watch if you don't mind paying). There's a lot of discussion of the Mediterranean Diet but it's essentially LCHF by another name. All very positive stuff and lots about the health benefits aside from weight loss.

I've lost 1.4lb this week which I'm delighted about. That's 12.7lb and 6.9% of my body weight since I started Bootcamp. I know it's officially finished but I started late so this Wednesday will be 10 weeks for me.

Where the blue line on the attached graph starts is the point I joined Bootcamp (think that shows loss at rate planned per week).

I like the sound of that fish pie BIWI. Will definitely be trying.

I've had an odd week. Struggled this week for the first time really. Still stuck to Bootcamp rules though but have put on two/ three pounds. Water intake has been just about enough most days. I've had the odd snack but in addition to two meals rather than three. Eg yesterday was a picnic lunch of a packet of park scratchings. Dinner was belly pork with sapphire and purple sprouting. Later on I had some more belly pork. Also I'm feeling fairly queasy after eating. Sad

Thank you! That one works - having a good read through now, before I get a shop in. Hoping to lose a little bit and feel better for when I go on holiday in 10 weeks :) I'm also doing a fair bit of exercise - running.pilates and 30 day shred so fingers crossed!

Hello everyone if you're still there Grin
I am having a really bad week, eating biscuits and crap. I've had the indulgence so now I'm giving myself a kick up the arse and starting again.

Oh no Wombat! I'm still more or less on track, but have stopped posting food - will get back to this today!

Sorry to hear that wombat - but you know what to do! Climb back on the wagon, drink lots of water, etc etc Grin

I've not had a bad week so far (although it is only Wednesday). It's been a bit more dairy than I was planning, but the carbs have been pretty low.

Welcome to the thread Overcome, I've also got 2 stone to go. The trouble is when I do I know my bosoms will be overcome by gravity and be back to spaniel's ears. Not a happy prospect but I guess my health is more important. So welcome in solidarity comrade! Grin

I'm on holiday this week and next so I'm doing boot camp light. Next week we're away so I'd like to treat myself to some low carb cake, anyone got any recommendations for recipes? And I will be having a 99, I refuse to go to the seaside and not have one.

When I'm back it will be strict boot camp to get me back on track.

B: 2 coffees with cream

planning:

L: 3 scrambled eggs with bacon bits
D: roast chicken, cucumber slices

It's going OK for me again.

Had a minor slip on Sunday evening BUT whereas in the past I'd write off the entire day and see that as a licence to stuff face with crisps, choc, beer and ice-cream until midnight (Confused) which would leave me reeling in a sugar slump the next day and set off a vicious cycle.....THIS time I simply went to bed before I could do any more damage to myself Grin

Trip to Brighton was tough today! Had to resist churros on the pier, fish & chips and ice cream everywhere and sweet shops selling a million flavours of fudge.

I took a sandwich made with a cauliflower 'roll' which was very tasty but didn't compensate for all the delicious rubbish I had to resist!

I'm still going - managing to keep low carb but have had a couple of days where I've eaten more than I should - felt stuffed nd wondered why I was still eating!

Today:
B- Greek yoghurt with a sprinkle of pecans
L- chicken and artichoke salad with mayonnaise dressing, 2 squares of dark chocolate
D- just particularly hungry so small portion of yoghurt

Welcome Overcome! Two stone to go here as well.

So yesterday was 10 weeks to the day since I joined Bootcamp and I've lost 15.3lb which is 8.3% of my body weight. I'm delighted!

I'm carrying on and definitely view LCHF as a permanent lifestyle change. The more I read the more I discover about the all round health benefits of this WOE, aside from the weight loss.

I'm hoping to regain my waist at some point though - I found some measurements yesterday from 2011 so pre-pregnancy when I was almost exactly the same weight as now and my waist was 2-3 inches smaller!! DS is nearly 3 so I'm hoping that doesn't mean my waist is permanently enlarged!! Confused
Does anyone have any tips or words of wisdom?
