Morning all!

for the last time this Bootcamp, is the Spreadsheet of Wonderfulness

I hope that this Bootcamp has been successful for you. I have to say, it's been one of the most trouble-free Grin

I'm certainly carrying on, and with a bit more focus Blush given that we now have a holiday booked in 11 weeks time, that will mean I need to be ready to don a swimsuit.

Hello Foreign I haven't been doing great, but I start again every day!
Trying to maintain a bit of control until the next bc.

Veryflummoxed · 30/09/2016 09:33

Still here. Had something of a cake and toast crisis yesterday. Otherwise I'm KOKO

fufulina · 30/09/2016 14:00

Still lurking. 79.3kg this morning, so down 2.7kg since Monday 19th. My run this morning was hard work - 6.5 miles to work. Just been out for lunch - tapas - amazing for low carb.

Have achieved first goal of under 80kg, and on way to next goal of 76kg.

Today:
B: scrambled eggs + butter at work
L: many delicious tapasy things
D: Prawns with courgetti
S: 2 squares dark choc
No wine
No chocolate mousse at lunch
No coconut bite in Pret

KOKO

lasttimeround · 30/09/2016 17:13

Argh just had grapes and 2 squares of milk chocolate. Playdate. Well back in saddle - now immediately.
Otherwise going well. I've made a few new dishes this week - cauli and sausage casserole and aubergine feta bake. It's been nice to have something different to eat

wombattoo · 30/09/2016 17:23

fufu Well done Thanks

Veryflummoxed · 01/10/2016 07:40

Back on track yesterday after the cake debacle

Lunch. Poached eggs with butter.

Dinner lamb shoulder with courgetti and sprouts pan fried with bacon.

First time I've had the spiralised courgettes cooked as opposed to raw and wondered how others cook them.

TheForeignOffice · 01/10/2016 08:18

Day 2. Again Grin. Happy to see I'm not alone.

Veryflummoxed · 01/10/2016 09:44

Grinback.

Carb blip turned into carb fest last night. Bah! Gym this morning and just had scrambled eggs and bacon. Carbs make me hungry. But gym with carbs was fab. Had a great strong session. Despite finally being able to exercise while low carbing it still seems to affect how much weight I can lift (unless today was just a blip). Must say I do love the gym once I get into it. I've got 10 sessions under my belt new and feel great.
Food plan today.
Salmon cream cheese and salad for lunch
Sausages and cauli mash for dinner

margaritasbythesea · 01/10/2016 11:27

My pils and I took the kids to a pizza place they live last night. I hate it but usually have a salad. I just wasn't hungry last night so didn't have anything and now I am under scrutiny for crazy eating. Musn't do that again.

I am eating moderate carb. I'm not sure if I'm losing weight TBH. Waist size seems to fluctuate. I don't have scales. How are the other no weigh people getting on with that?

My new must-have low carb food preparation tool is the cream whipper. Low(ish) carb hot chocolate with whipped cream.

margaritasbythesea · 05/10/2016 06:29

Sad I can't find cream in Spain. I don't know why but it doesn't seem to be sold anywhere. the closest I can come is creme fraiche. I covet you cream whipper and your cream!

randomer · 05/10/2016 14:52

hi folks.... would i be right in thinking this is pretty rigid ? Sorry it seems a daft question but I have been " dieting" for ever. I'm looking for something painless and longterm.
I used to eat well but now I just eat any old thing, on the go and a meal at night. Also enjoy wine.
Any thoughts pls?

margaritasbythesea · 05/10/2016 19:14

There are rules you have to follow in order to lose weight. You can find them in the spreadsheet on one of the old bootcamp threads. But following the rules doesn't mean you can't eat all sorts of delicious things. The first two weeks of bootcamp is very strict and takes some getting used to if you don't know much about it. Once you're into it it's very maintainable as a diet. I've stuck to it after the end of bootcamp because I now prefer eating like thus

randomer · 05/10/2016 20:16

mmm thanks for reply

nekobus · 10/10/2016 12:01

Re-re-re-starting again this week after carb fest weekend Blush somehow fell spectacularly off the LC wagon but picking myself back up!

I'm looking forward to the discipline of BC proper but also want to stick as best I can to BC light between now and then!

Hope everyone else is doing OK Smile

wombattoo · 10/10/2016 17:58

Hi nekobus I have also started again today again
Have you signed up on the new thread?

nekobus · 10/10/2016 18:50

Hi wombattoo! Good to see you starting back too Smile and yes, I'm all signed up for the next one - what about you?

I'd love to shift a stone before Christmas... I have been doing a lot more exercise the past few months so I'm hoping that will help too Halo but I have probably restarted every Monday for the past few weeks!

wombattoo · 10/10/2016 20:58

Ha neko same here. We will do it this time. I may go back to posting my meals for accountability. I'll check in tomorrow. Grin

nekobus · 10/10/2016 21:57

Good idea! I'll do that too Smile

Veryflummoxed · 11/10/2016 07:12

Hi Nekobus and Wombattoo. Me too. Several restarts since end of boot camp and several pounds up since then. I'll join you both in listing food if that's ok. Yesterday's re start was

Breakfast a cube of cheese and 4/5 stuffed olives

Lunch. Half a pack pork scratching.

Dinner. Road brisket beef. Purple sprouting. mashed swede. Sprouts fried with bacon. Jus.

Snack. A spoonful of sprouts and bacon.

nekobus · 11/10/2016 13:04

Hi Flummoxed! Weighed myself yesterday and also a few pounds up eek!

Here's yesterday's food:

B - 2 hb eggs with butter
L - chicken breast wrapped in bacon, salad, Boursin scooped in celery
D - prawns and courgetti with shallots and cream
S - 2 babybel, coffee and cream
Managed 2.5 litres of water and a Zumba class Grin

Today
B - 2 hb eggs and butter
L - m&s egg and spinach protein pot, LC-ish coleslaw, olives, chorizo, cheese
D - either salmon or steak with LC veg (depends on use-by dates Wink)
S - coffee with cream

Really not doing great with water today as out in London for a meeting so only managed one of my 4 x 750 bottles so far. It's hard building back up to 3L without needing the loo all day Blush

wombattoo · 11/10/2016 17:20

Hi. Day 2 back on it for me.

B: egg mayo
L: Roast chicken salad with mayo
D: Bacon and eggs
S: Pork crackling

I have had my water quota - fighting off cravings today

Veryflummoxed · 11/10/2016 19:05

Hello

Today I've had

B cheese and olives

Lunch scratchings (not the healthiest option I know but short on time)

Dinner roast beef, cheese, green leaves, cucumber and mayo.

Not brilliant with the water. If I found eating the struggle I find drinking enough to be I really wouldn't have a weight issue. Smile
