Wow, well done Pip!!

PippilottaViktualia · 03/07/2016 13:57

Thanks Sestra! I'm think probably is more Brexit/Redundancy stress than my hard work lchf-ing though Blush

Enjoy your soup, sounds beautiful, I adore mushrooms!

BIWI · 03/07/2016 14:25

bettyblueeyes - but you're not following a Mediterranean diet! You're following a low carb, high fat, medium protein diet. As long as you keep your fat levels up, and your carbs down, you should be fine. But:

B: eggs, bacon, three cherry toms, two creamy coffees
This looks OK - but when you say creamy coffees, do you mean coffee made with cream?

L: bag of pork scratchings on the train
This is OK - but just remember this is a processed food (along with the bacon ...

D: miso soup, a chicken skewer, a few edamame, Korean pork lettuce wraps with spicy sauce, lots of green tea
This could all have been quite carby (although it sounds lovely!)

S: 2 glasses prosecco, one white wine, peanuts, yoghurt/cream with berries/nuts
Bear in mind that peanuts are quite carby, and you've also had berries and nuts in your yoghurt.

So need to be careful over the next few days to keep the carbs in check

Thanks BIWI.

Yes, coffee made with double cream, it's how I've been drinking it since BC started - is that not right?

Thanks for the reminder, I can see carbs are creeping up so I'll be mindful in the next fews days.

BIWI · 03/07/2016 16:02

That's fine - just remember though that dairy can be troublesome for some people!

I've just updated my results for tomorrow and moved things around because it wasn't looking quite right for my entry. I'm not sure whether weight loss for weekly weigh in ends up after or before the new weight entry?

i'f I've messed it up please could someone amend and let me know.

I lost 4lbs this week - which I'm counting as tomorrow's weigh in, as I weigh on a Friday. 5lbs the week before - 27th June, and 5.5 the week before that 20th.

Thanks

lasttimeround · 03/07/2016 17:41

Amazing weightless wilf.
I has a lovely moment in the changing rooms today while trying to buy clothes. For first time in ages I thought. Hmm looking good. Still overweight but I can see the improvement - hugely motivating.
I've our holiday week with friends ahead. I've made good food plans but don't want to be a downer. I guess I'll see how it goes. We have lots of bbqs and loads of meat planned. Should be doable bar the booze.

Good luck with tomorrow's weigh in

wombattoo · 03/07/2016 18:02

Hello everyone
Pip What an incredible weight loss. Well done. I hope it stays off for you. Many years ago, I went to slimming world with a friend. She weighed 21st on day one and she lost a whole stone in the first week. I was blown away!

Wilf I have checked the s/s and it looks ok. There is nothing wrong with adding your Friday weight the following week. The only person who will check your weights is you, so as long as you know where you're at.

I ended up having a cheese omelette last night.
Today I've had hard boiled egg, smoked salmon and mayo for breakfast again chicken salad for lunch and hm broccoli and mushroom soup with double cream. It was lush. I'm going to take a portion to work for my breakfast tomorrow Smile

wombattoo · 03/07/2016 18:04

Wilf I meant adding Friday's weight on the following Monday iyswim

wombattoo · 03/07/2016 18:05

And my water is rushing through me today. Sorry if tmi but I can't stop weeing. I hope it's good news for weigh in Grin

WilfSell · 03/07/2016 18:10

Can I ask an aside in Bootcamp? I've just ventured out in talk boards again and thinking OMG what have I done. Am a longstanding member but have been away for years as I find once I get started, it takes over my life. Are you seeing a pattern here? Grin

Anyhow, I'm planning ahead and I need some helpful advice. I am going to be 50 next year and all I want for my birthday is to wear my wedding dress (taken in obv!) for a glamorous night out with a few friends!

But I don't want to host a big party again (got married 4 years ago), which would kind of lend itself to a floor length, grecian style cream frock covered in sparkly sequins.

So where can I go... Where I live in the Midlands is not really a 'dressing for dinner' kind of place. But I don't want to go to some impersonal ball either... Private dining might cut it, and could travel (to London, Manchester etc).

I shouldn't care really, but 10 of us sitting in the local gastropub in black tie is gonna look a LEEEEETLE weird round here and Up North.

Hit me with your best suggestions!

WilfSell · 03/07/2016 18:12

This is the dress. It looked lovely but not like this with my fat arse in it. I would like to look like this, just once!

I can't offer any advice as to where to go Wilf but the dress is beautiful

bettyblueeyes83 · 03/07/2016 18:54

What a beautiful dress Wilf! This might be an acquired taste, but what about a murder mystery type party at home? You can find one with a theme that fits with the style of the dress and everyone can come dressed up. I did this for the best NYE I've ever had, it was so much fun getting dressed up and cooking/making cocktails, the mystery was a good laugh, and the pictures are brill, we had an amazing time.

Just getting my food down before guests arrive for a lazy Sunday dinner:

B: eggs and bacon, creamy coffee
L (on the go): olives, cheese, prawns with cocktail sauce
D: Roast chicken with lettuce/avocado salad and cauli/celeriac mash. Guests will have garlicky lemony chickpeas that have cooked inside chicken (I might have a wee taste). Berries and mascarpone cream for dessert. Some wine...will mix with sparkling water and be sensible.

Exercise: zumba and yoga.

SestraClone · 03/07/2016 18:59

B - BLT lettuce wraps
L - mushroom soup
D - steak & salad
S - handful nuts.

Back on it 100% and feeling better already. I am going to keep my name as Wan on the spreadsheet for now.

WilfSell · 03/07/2016 19:01

Aw thank you. It was one of those 'try it on and burst into tears' moments. I was looking for navy and grey silk dresses cos I was felt fat. And my friend went 'try this on: you don't have to choose a dark colour just because you feel fat! Wear bling if you want'. It was a bit of a turning point.

But I wore a corset underneath it to hold in my, er, capacious stomach. And it really isn't a corset kinda dress. So I got boobcreases which all looked like nipple moments in the photos Grin. I was very happy and didn't care, but I'm determined to keep my eye on that dress as an incentive to lose weight. I do want to be healthy but I am vain also want to have one or two moments of GODDESS left before I get to old crone stage...

WilfSell · 03/07/2016 19:02

Dinner party at home might be an option. I suppose I could get a caterer... I'd have to insist the husband loads the dishwasher though.

NotdeadyetBOING · 03/07/2016 20:53

Divine dress, Wilf. I totally see how you are using it as inspiration and want to rock it Goddess style. It WILL HAPPEN.

I did a ferociously tough barre core class this afternoon and definitely felt my age… But I refuse to accept defeat and will press on.

Drank a lot more water today which must be a good thing.

Seem to be living off cauli mash….

IndianaJone · 03/07/2016 22:31

Wow pip that's a huge amount!! Well done. Also, well done to betty also on your new muscles!

I've fallen off the wagon for the first time since doing be. Two small potato pakoras got the better of me. I've given myself a shake though and tomorrow will be another day.

IndianaJone · 03/07/2016 22:35

Just spotted the dress. It's so beautiful and elegant Wilf - you definitely need somewhere flashy to show it off!

Veryflummoxed · 04/07/2016 00:19

That is a beautiful dress wilf. Good result in the disappearing fat and appearing muscle (sorry on app, can't see who posted that) brilliant weight lost Pip, congratulations, notdead just the thought of that exercise makes me tired. Glad you 're back Wan, sorry can't see/remember new name.

Late lunch/early dinner
Meatzza with celeriac ,white cabbages coleslaw and dressed green salad.
Water and black/herb tea.

Not hungry till it was time to eat and not hungry since. I think I may (after seven weeks) be fat adapted.

Good luck tomorrow all.

BIWI · 04/07/2016 07:14

Beautiful dress, Wilf! I think something at home sounds fun.
