Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Hiya. Good losses ladies Smile

Can someone please put 100.5 on the spreadsheet for me please?

1.5 kg down so I'm happy. Loving bbq season to cook meat on though I ate too much fatty meat last night!

Food for me today:
Scrambled egg in butter
Prawn, avocado, salad leaves, cucumber and mayo
Pork belly slices with cauli and brocolli and maybe cheese sauce...

readyforno2 · 23/05/2016 12:34

Haven't read the thread! Just putting in my numbers and running!
Down to 183.8!! Almost 6lb. Over the moon.
Well done to all losers!! KOKO

flipdoodle · 23/05/2016 12:50

1lb down for me, though that's following a weekend where I pretty much abandoned LC, I had been about 3lbs down earlier in the week. I don't feel too bad though as it was a true one-off weekend with very old friends who I won't be seeing for a long time.

DH is back from his travels and seems quite keen to try out all the new LCHF food I've been eating, so hopefully I can get back on track now. I've definitely seen results, my skinny jeans are looser, and I am doing up my belt a whole notch tighter Grin

glenthebattleostrich · 23/05/2016 13:00

Hi everyone and (as always) Thanks BIWI and everyone for the thread, sheet and support.

1 lb down. Pleased as I started my period today so feel horrible and expected it to go up.

so weight 191lb, waist 37", hips 39" and back 34.5". 2" off both waist and hips is very encouraging. I'd definitely urge everyone to dig out the tape measure.

Food for today -

B - 3 black farmer sausages (eating on the run), chai tea with coconut oil and cream.
L - prawn salad and pork scratchings. Chai tea with coconut oil and cream
D - chicken breast stuffed with chorizo and mushroom, wrapped in bacon and mozzarella with green salad.
S green tea with coconut oil

I've emailed links to the articles to a few people. Be interesting to see what response I get!

Have a great afternoon everyone

trixymalixy · 23/05/2016 13:29

Could someone put 166 on the spreadsheet for me please.

ShebaQueen · 23/05/2016 13:44

Hello all, fascinating to see the articles in the press on LCHF today and so interesting to hear the defence of low fat diets. Since starting LCHF over a year ago I've never cooked from scratch so much, or eaten so much veg and so little processed food and I am definitely healthier as a result.

1lb off for me, happy with that and as a long term bootcamper I am on bootcamp lite.

flyright · 23/05/2016 13:48

just a pound down for me as I said on the other thread - was more pre the weekend Blush

todays food is
B greek yoghurt and blueberries
L cottage pie topped with celeriac and leek ( thanks to BIWI and Gcalske for recipe tips!) - its lovely and seems quite filling so I'm hopeful of avoiding my usual afternoon snacking, although I do have an emergency sausage - oo er missus - from last night's dinner if I need something
D dinner is out in a greek restaurant so apart from a glass of red should be on message

water, people, water

StrawberryLeaf · 23/05/2016 13:52

My meal plan today is;

B - Greek yoghurt and coffee with cream
L - salad with tuna and boiled eggs, Parmesan and vinaigrette (I've had this the last 3 days, so yum!)
D - roast ham, cauliflower cheese
S - another coffee with cream and a few slices of cheese and cucumber lightly spread with marmite.

anniebambammie · 23/05/2016 13:57

Well done everyone!! This thread is so inspiring!

This was my dinner tonight... Cheesey creamy chicken, bacon, mushroom, cabbage and broccoli goodness! I'd take this over a bowl of pasta any day!

Hi everyone

Hope it's all right to join a bit late - I have been BC with you for the last week but not posted on the thread. If it's OK I won't join the spreadsheet but I thought I would pop in and say hello. I am a long term BC under different names Smile.

Just made the egg muffins - delicious. I wrap a slice of pancetta round the empty muffin tin hole before I put in the egg mixture as it makes for a crispy outside and I do find them going a bit soft underneath the next day otherwise.

I have been drinking gallons of cucumber water - really helps to get the litres down. Also H and M have pretty (if quite small - 500ml) water bottles for anyone who needs a new one for out and about.

KO, everyone. Smile

MontserratCaballe · 23/05/2016 14:00

Annie, that looks amazing. Yum yum.

I am having Chester's chicken for supper - proof of my long term bootcamp credentials!

Thanks, BIWI, for all the help and support on these threads. They have, over the years, changed my outlook on food beyond measure and I am so very grateful Flowers. Am back on it like a rocket!

MushroomTree · 23/05/2016 14:02

Only 1lb down this week :( not impressed but have got my period.

Also having my coil out today and I've read very favourable reports of weight loss after removal, so I'm hopeful for next week!

flyright · 23/05/2016 14:32

annie that looks great - how did you cook it - is it a stir fry kind of thing or baked?

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 14:40

anniebambammie Yes please do share the recipe, looks yummy

BursarsFrogs · 23/05/2016 15:09

I can testify that the cloud bread recipe works just fine using baking soda instead of cream of tartar. I used them to make salmon and cucumber "bread"rolls for my lunch.

I've just managed to sit through an event with a plate of gooey chocolate biscuits underneath my nose, and decidedly looked elsewhere and drank my black coffee, pretending to be happy with it. Sigh. It'll be worth it, right?

glenthebattleostrich · 23/05/2016 15:14

Ooh they look lovely Bursars. I'm making burgers later in the week I think I'll give cloud bread a go. Is it easy to make? I'm not a bad cook, just quite time poor at the mo.

BursarsFrogs · 23/05/2016 15:21

Very easy to make (I used the BBC recipe, but I think they're all more or less the same). They're not very sturdy though. I had to eat my rolls over a plate, as they tried to disintegreate a bit.

ChopsticksandChilliCrab · 23/05/2016 15:27

I have lost 16 lb since Easter but this week I'm only 1 lb down. I'm going to make a big effort to try and drink more water, do some gentle exercise, not eat after 8pm and get more sleep.

Imelda91 · 23/05/2016 15:38

Hi there
Well done on all the losses. I have lost 4lbs
If someone could enter my details on the spreadsheet I would be most grateful

Imelda91 140

Thanks

anniebambammie · 23/05/2016 15:40

flyright and lamdobby it was so easy and quick! Browned some garlic, shallots and big chunks of chicken breast in butter...threw in chopped mushrooms, cabbage and broccoli... Sprinkle of dried thyme, oregano and rosemary, pinch of salt and pepper.. Then stirred through some cream once veges were cooked! Oh and grated cheese on top Smile Feels so naughty!!

anniebambammie · 23/05/2016 15:42

Sorry flyright to answer your question, all fried up in one pan Smile I grated the cheese on it after I dished up, was piping hot so went lovely and melty

Auriga · 23/05/2016 15:48

Can't weigh in because the battery on the scales has gone but don't boot me off yet! Trousers are loose and I'm persevering, despite awful migraine. Trying to up fluid and salt intake.

Xoticdreamz · 23/05/2016 16:11

Not hungry at all today .
Can someone please update my weight to 129 please
Not in work so just on my phone . Thank you.
Thinking of salmon and veg for dinner tonight .

flyright · 23/05/2016 16:13

thanks Annie, that sounds easy enough - and deliciously decadent. It's hard to get your head round being encouraged to add cream and grated cheese but there's very few things not improved with grated cheese on top

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 16:16

Thanks Annie I will be giving that a try.
