Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Hi all, weigh in tomorrow. Had a sneak preview today and I've lost nothing so not over optimistic. Still, I haven't put any on (I hope) I'm not hungry and I'm enjoying my food and got more energy.

Today I ate

Brunch mince and mushrooms and swede (leftovers)

Tea (at a birthday party). Some sandwich fillings, all low carb, left the bread.

Snack. Ff yogurt

Dinner roast pork, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus.

Good luck everyone.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 29/05/2016 21:18

My food today:
B- chorizo and Gouda
L- chicken Caesar salad minus croutons
D- burgers with courgetti Mayo salad, haloumi and green salad with mozzarella. FF yoghurt with cinnamon for pud.

Interesting to see weight tomorrow although don't think I've lost anything - feeling bloated and coming up to AF.

Pengweng · 29/05/2016 21:27

Wan I'm doing a Level 3 TA course. My dts are only at nursery three hpurs a say so I'm finding it challenging fitting it in. Hard to read and write essays when i have two 3 year olds running riot lol.
Pre kids i worked in office management for a recruitment company but i fancied a change.

bettyblueeyes83 · 29/05/2016 22:03

Really good day, am back in the groove with not feeling hungry and have loads of energy. Went for a long swim with a decent bike ride there and back, felt great!

B: scrambled eggs with dash of cream and bit of cheese, bacon, cherry toms, coffee with cream
L: leftover Tex-Mex casserole (mince with spices, jalapeños, cheese)
D: steak, cauli mash, and broccoli, all cooked in/with plenty of butter, plus homemade bearnaise that used a load of butter!!

First time I've ever tried making bearnaise, so thrilled it worked and was yummy.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow - am expecting a stay-the-same after a frustrating up and down week

CiderwithBuda · 29/05/2016 22:22

Good food day here. And a beautiful day too.

B - strawberries and cream. Okay maybe not too good but so nice!
L - salad with perri perri chicken and avocado and mayo dressing
S - slice of ham
D - BBQ lamb and Black Farmer sausages with salad and mayo dressing
S - last of the cream, just enough to have one strawberry!

Measured my water intake and downloaded an app on my phone so I know I've drunk all my water today.

Hoping for good results for us all tomorrow.

margaritasbythesea · 29/05/2016 23:06

Mmm béarnaise. It's been years since I've had that. May have to try.

Today I had scrambled eggs fried in butter.
Lunch was beef coconut curry
Snack celery, pastrami and cream cheese
Dinner pork belly with fennel seeds and thyme, swede, cabbage.

I still feel like I am eating too much - especially as I couldn't stop picking at crackling today. Delicious.

lasttimeround · 29/05/2016 23:13

Just made chicken liver pate for next week - can't wait to eat it!

lasttimeround · 29/05/2016 23:16

B- scrambled egg w ham
L- ground beef
S- roast beef slices
D- turkey curry in coconut
D - ff yoghurt

Wondering what scale will say tomorrow

anniebambammie · 30/05/2016 01:51

Monday here and I've stayed the same... Have been good food wise but a few alcoholic mishaps Saturday night so was kind of to be expected. Never mind, it's a new week!!
I think I might need to keep upping my water intake too.

NotdeadyetBOING · 30/05/2016 05:47

Can anyone recommend a good app? There seem to be loads of keto ones - so wondering which is best.

Titsalinabumsquash · 30/05/2016 06:58

Nothing lost here, no slip ups so it's pretty disappointing, I will repeat boot camp with smaller portions and less meat. I haven't been to the loo in a few days despite always drinking my water. BlushSad

LaserShark · 30/05/2016 07:14

Also feeling a bit discouraged. First week on bc and was weighing daily so could see 2lbs were lost - until today, when one and a quarter of those pounds went back on again so I'm less than 1lb down in total. It is disheartening. Doubly disappointing because it pushes me back up through the stone barrier I had broken.

However, I had to buy two new pairs of pyjamas this week because all of my old ones are too big and I had to buy a smaller size - this follows a month of a different diet before bc so five weeks of dieting altogether. And bc is a much easier, more satisfying diet to follow which feels much healthier. My calories this week must have doubled from the previous diet, I have eaten more fat in a week than I did in the previous month and I still lost weight, albeit not as much as I'd hoped. Week 5 of any diet program is bound to be a smaller loss. My clothes are getting looser all the time. KOKO!

ClopySow · 30/05/2016 07:47

5lb down

I went and changed my starting weight after all to reflect my dodgy scales.

Although who knows what my actual starting weight was...

boldlygoingsomewhere · 30/05/2016 07:52

3lb down this morning! Really pleased with that as was sure I'd stay the same.

Please could someone change the spreadsheet for me. Smile

boldlygoingsomewhere 135lbs

stilllovingmysleep · 30/05/2016 07:54

lasershark I know exactly what you mean, the scales go up & down every day for me too. Hang in there. Try to think that your body will not be losing all the time, it does go up & down & the overall pattern you want to be seeing is downwards...over time, not over days.

I want to recommend a fantastic app I use (have used it for years) called happy scale where I record my weight & see the patterns over time. Its very informative as you see a graph and can really appreciate what you lose. It has graphs for 7 days / 30 days / a year etc.

Right off to report my weight loss on the spreadsheet. I wonder if we'll have a new thread to go to soon?

Mookbark · 30/05/2016 08:06

I use happy scales, too. If you are a daily weighed, then I think it is vital as it smoothed out the ups and downs.
Haven't weighed yet because I h vent hot out if bed yet. Grin

Sorry, app playing up again, but at least it enabled me to edit my post.

FarelyKnuts · 30/05/2016 08:11

5lb down today. Happy out

PippilottaViktualia · 30/05/2016 08:17

Urgh, haven't lost anything, not even an oz 😭 I've been so strict, I think I might need to drop my protein even further. Shit

Mookbark · 30/05/2016 08:23

1.4lbs off. I'm back to Saturday's weight and pleased with that
Well done to the other losers.
Flowers to those that haven't lost, but please do KOKO. A week isn't long enough to say you're not losing, our bodies are funny things, especially females, and you may have STS this week but have a big whoosh next week. Also, as laser mentions, the scales can show little difference but the inches can still come off, so measuring is useful too.

BIWI · 30/05/2016 08:25

Week 3 chat thread is here

I haven't lost anything but I haven't gained anything either.

My period started yesterday so I'm putting it down to that.

BIWI · 30/05/2016 08:31

PippilottaViktualia you lost 9lbs in the first week though! Please don't be downhearted if you don't see a loss in one week, especially after such a big one earlier. I know it's hard, as you expect to lose constantly, but weight loss really isn't linear.

However, if you're worried, post (on the new thread) what you've been eating over the last few days and let me see if there's anything obvious I can spot.

1.4lb off even though I had a really bad day yesterday involving vodka Sad so hope it doesn't show next week.
