Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Now experts say we should eat more fat to combat obesity

3lb down this morning, it was 4lb on Friday with a sneaky weigh in but my period arrived on Friday night. I usually carb binge the week before and undo all my efforts to lose so really pleased with 3lb.

Well done everyone else.

BursarsFrogs · 23/05/2016 07:44

So great to see so many losses here. :) Like I said in the other tread, I'm pleased with my 2lb off.

I'll be starting Buserelin injections later this week, so I wonder how that will affect the weight loss. Remains to be seen, I suppose. Otherwise there's nothing to stop me from following the plan 100% this week.

Today's food plan:

B: two fried eggs and matcha tea with some cream
L: will try making some cloud bread, with cheese, cucumber and lettuce
S: antipasto meats and olives, if needed
D: chorizo and veggie stew

Statelychangers · 23/05/2016 07:46

Well done to all the losers who have weighed, hope everyone gets a good result. I'm down 100 grams Sad - that's almost 1/4 lb....however I have lost inches - one off my waist and one from my hips - and summer shorts and fitting again! Grin

Went out for lunch yesterday with friends. Dh has hit his target, so now only low carbs when his rolling average hits a certain number. Yesterday was a day where his weight was at the lower end and he ate freely. So we counted how many extra calories he had over a long lunch as a result of not eating low carb.
Total 1750kcal extra consumed as a result of not low carbing. That's quite shocking isn't it! He enjoyed every bit of it.
I had a crab and smoked salmon salad followed by guinea fowl, celeriac puree and steamed greens and felt a bit miserable with my peppermint tea while everyone else tucked into the most amazing puddings.
Was starving on the way home - several hours later, stopped at M&S and picked up some calamari for a snack. Then made myself a quick pan of chorizo, bacon, tomato, spring onion and avocado - it was lovely but didn't need the chorizo.

Pengweng · 23/05/2016 07:51

5.8lbs down!! Woooo! I was convinced I was having too much cheese Grin but I will keep on going. Finding it not massively hard though I have had a few sugar cravings but I just had some yoghurt and vanilla essence. Hoping these go soon!!

Well done everyone!

StuntNun · 23/05/2016 07:51

Half a pound down so the scales are heading in the right direction again

StillLoving the best exercise in my opinion is a combination of weight training and HIIT (high-intensity interval training). The 30-Day Shred is a great way to get started. The first two levels are on YouTube so you only need a pair of dumbbells which you can buy cheaply in Argos, supermarkets or sports shops.

WanHeda · 23/05/2016 07:52

Huge well done to all the losers!

I am down 2lb, but this is week 3 for me, so I am grabbing it with both hands as BIWI had warned me that I may STS this week. I know it still applies for the next couple of weeks too.

That's a total of 13lb for me in Bootcamp so far :)

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 23/05/2016 07:54

Eva I've added you. Good job!

I weigh myself at work do I'll add myself later. My clothes are looser so I'm hopeful.

And the nightmares have started. Confused

stilllovingmysleep · 23/05/2016 08:23

Thanks StuntNun. I will definitely take that up particularly as I can do this from home.

BIWI I didn't break any rules as far as I know. However, Saturday evening we went out for dinner and it's possible my stroganoff at restaurant had some flour for thickening? Also, I think on weekends I probably drink slightly less water as I forget more easily than when I'm at work.

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: 3 poached eggs / smoked salmon / a few green beans / rocket with olive oil and lemon
Lunch: mozzarella (a ball) with green beans / rocket / cucumber and a small chunk of cheddar with olive oil lemon
Dinner: roast beef, rocket, mushrooms in double cream and mustard sauce
Aftet dinner (was hungry): some olives and chunk of cheddar.

This was probably a day with slightly more cheese than I eat normally. Then again I felt hungrier probably due to period coming. First signs of period today.

CiderwithBuda · 23/05/2016 08:24

I'm not sure what I've lost! I weighed with scales in normal position and then moved scales (for some stupid reason) and they weigh me at a pound more! So I moved them back to original position. Weighed twice and got the lower and the higher. Pah!

Anyway. I think I've lost 4.5 lbs.

I'm a daily weigher but I think I might try not weigh now till next Monday.

Well done on great losses everyone.

And for those who are disappointed today is the start of a brand new week!

Off to read the newspaper articles.

FarelyKnuts · 23/05/2016 08:26

I am strictly only weighing myself on a Monday and have my DP hiding the scales the rest of the week to stop me becoming too obsessional Grin
But very pleased with a 6lb loss and even more resolved to stick to the plan today.
Have my lunch made and ready for work. Nice chicken and avocado salad with spinach leaves and a couple of babybells.
Made cauliflower mash last night which was seriously good and there's leftover for tonight which I'll be having with chicken thighs.

SayrraT · 23/05/2016 08:34

I love LCing, I'm 4lbs down Grin

Off work for a couple of weeks now so food will be a little different but at least no temptation at coffee break.

Just had some leftover roast turkey and bit of pork cracking for breakfast.

Well done on the losses so far but if you've not lost, not lost as much as you hoped, or even gained, don't be disheartened. The success of your first week of BC can depend on what your diet was like before.

Serial dieters can also have problems sometimes as their body seems to need more time to adjust. Often people have no loss then suddenly lose a big chunk at once.

Just KOKO Grin (keep on, keeping on)

SoMuchToBits · 23/05/2016 08:37

I have lost absolutely nothing! It's been week 4 for me, as I was LCing for 3 weeks before Bootcamp, but I only lost 3lb in the first 3 weeks.

I have been sticking strictly to the rules, and this week have reduced dairy (only having cream in my cups of tea, no cheese which I love, no yoghurt), but still no weight loss.

I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong. Sad

I'm still enjoying the food (although not so much with no cheese), and feel generally healthier, but had hoped for more weight loss than 3lb in 4 weeks.

Whistle73 · 23/05/2016 08:39

I've had a disastrous weekend! Was away and just no alternatives so I kind of gave up. Have had wine, bread and pizza Blush
I'm still at the same weight as last week, but the good news is I'm still looking thinner, clothes still fitting much better and still half a stone lighter than this time six weeks ago thanks to giving up sugar pre-bootcamp. And despite having some wine I still stuck to the no-sugar rule this weekend.
Back on it with a vengeance this week so hoping to post a loss next Monday.
KOKO!!

OneMoreForExtra · 23/05/2016 08:39

Wow, some fantastic results, well done!

I've gained but not at all surprised after my stupid non-BC week, but all ready to kill it this week with a fresh start. Got up half an hour early to do a workout. Meal plan:

B: bacon, fried egg and avocado, coffee with butter and cream
L: leftover roast chicken and vegetables
D: pork stir-fry
S: have 2 hard boiled eggs and a pat of butter to nibble slices in case of hungers, but aiming not to have them.

Deadnettle · 23/05/2016 08:41

I'm down 4.4lbs Grin

I weighed myself everyday last week and noticed that the days I ate less fat were the days I didn't lose weight. I don't think I'm eating enough fat so will look through the other threads later to see what I can add to my diet (vegetarian).

Gcalgske · 23/05/2016 08:44

Can someone it me down as 203? Thanks

Gcalgske · 23/05/2016 08:45

*put
Argh! Well done everyone xxxx

lexloofah · 23/05/2016 08:45

Great losses, well done, mine was less than a lb but as expected

Same article in the telegraph and on BBC website, the phrase 'metabolic timebomb' has stuck in my mind, the trouble is it could be dangerous if people charge off having more fat but not reducing carbs enough or eliminating sugar, I know my DH has no idea what is a carb and what is not and had been doing BC for over a year.

Seriously hope the GOvt change their policy but in the meantime we can blaze a trail

OneMoreForExtra · 23/05/2016 08:46

Bad luck SoMuch, I've had this experience too and it's maddening. I'm sure one if the experts will be along with advice but just wanted to send solidarity.

StillLoving, I second the 30 day shred for exercise, nothing has ever had faster or better results for shape and strength for me. I'm also a fan of Yoa Meltdown, also by Jillian Michaels, which is lower impact than Shred. They're both short and intense, so I can get up 30 mins early and do them before showering and getting on with my day.

OneMoreForExtra · 23/05/2016 08:47

I was picturing Bootcampers all over the country doing victory dances listening to the breakfast news this morning!

Fabbyshopper · 23/05/2016 08:48

4lb off! I am really pleased with that and amazed at how well we all seem to be doing. Well done fellow bootcampers!

Would someone update the spreadsheet for me as I still can't manage it.
Thanks.

boldlygoingsomewhere · 23/05/2016 08:49

I've lost 2lbs which I'm very pleased with. I haven't got much to lose so I know it will be quite slow. It's all on my belly too!

Would someone mind adjusting the spreadsheet for me? 138

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 23/05/2016 08:50

I've lost 4 lb. Smile

Nateismine · 23/05/2016 08:52

Please could someone put me at 133.5lbs. Thanks.
Really pleased with that 2.5lb loss. Have been doing BC light since last Bootcamp and then have been back to very strict no dairy Bootcamp this week. Another week strict dairy will hopefully get me within spitting distance of target weight.
