Morning all! I'm excited to see what the scales are telling everyone this week - it sounds like we've had some great results so far!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Here's to another successful week

Well done everyone- some great losses. Please keep posting menu ideas- it keeps me on the straight and narrow😀

Wintersea · 23/05/2016 10:09

Just checked again....
'164 is 11st 7.1 llbs
It's those pesky fractions of llbs
I'll be dancing round the house when I hit 11st 7!

wohmum · 23/05/2016 10:12

Only 1lb off for me - but disappointed , but then I haven't been following the rules too closely ! I will really stick to them this week..

I have done LC before and lost loads so I know it can work, but was interested to read the its not always as effective second time round - i hope that not the case.

CiderwithBuda · 23/05/2016 10:18

Those conversions have me very confused!

14 lbs in one stone
So 12 st is 168
So therefore 167 would be 11 st 13 surely?
And 11 st 10 is 164

So yes I think that conversion maybe wrong. Or maybe it's working it out differently i.e. Decimal points rather than the figure after the decimal point being actual pounds.

lisbapalea · 23/05/2016 10:31

I would like to get to 150something lbs, even if that is 159 I would be delighted! I am setting myself mini-milestones

Get below 12st
Get to 11st 11 (top end of healthy BMI for 5'8")
Get to 11st 6 (equiv to 159lb, so in the 150something lbs range)
Get to 10st 10lb (this would be mid-range of healthy BMI).

To be honest I have no expectation to reach that final goal as I can only remember being under 11st in my adult life when I was very dysfunctional / disordered with my eating, mainly due to being a bit overly hedonistic in my 20s!

If I can get to below 11st 7 and stay there then I will be a very happy woman!

Veryflummoxed · 23/05/2016 10:33

Wintersea 164 is 11.10

It's easiest to convert the stones then add on the extra pounds.

Mookbark · 23/05/2016 10:38

bagpuss's chart is correct, Wintersea yours is bizarre and definitely not correct.
14 lbs in 1 stone, so 11 stone is 14x11=154, then just add on the extra pounds, so 11st10 is 154+10=164, as flummoxed said.

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 23/05/2016 10:38

Bugger, i forgot to weigh, will do so tomorrow.
Wont hold my breath though - its week three for me... 😕

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 10:54

My post copied from other thread.

Morning all, well done on the losses. I'm 2.5lbs down which I'm very happy with as I have been LCHF for some time.

B. Coyo yogurt, coffee with cream
L. Cheese and bacon stuffed mushrooms with salad
D. Low carb sausages, roasted broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce.

Snacks, if needed will be hard boiled eggs,

Water +++++++ and coffee with cream

CathemeralChild · 23/05/2016 11:00

151.6! So let's round that up to 152 which is 3lbs down. That's over a kilo! I'm so happy as I got off to a crap start too. Smile
iPhone user so if someone could update the spreadsheet for me please: 152lbs, 3lb loss, thank you.

I shall celebrate with breakfast of fried eggs topped with fresh coriander, sour cream, and jalapeños, with coffee and a head of chicory to munch.
Lunch will be crab and avocado.
Dinner will be fried Gujarati style cabbage with something.... Not the toad-in-the-hole the boys are having.

Eva50 · 23/05/2016 11:00

SociallyAcceptableCookie thank you for adding my weight Smile

I have CFS/fibromyalgia so am fairly limited exercise wise but yesterday felt quite energetic (for me) so set off early with ds3 and the dog for a walk. We walked about 2 miles which is about 1 1/2 miles further than I have walked for a while. Late afternoon he wanted to go swimming. Normally I would be rendered useless after the walk but we gave it a go and I swam for 40 mins. I fully expected to be out of action for a few days after that but although I'm a bit sore and tiredish I am better than a usual Monday. I really feel quite excited!

B. Left over breakfast muffins, 2 heck chicken sausages and FF yogurt.
L. Chicken salad with mayonnaise
D. Cold meat, celeriac chips or mash and broccoli/cauliflower

DH has lost 10lbs - typical!

Sorry for the epic post but needed to share.

Iamdobby63 · 23/05/2016 11:09

monkey It's very early in the diet to have a whole week off (unless you have been doing this for awhile), if you really can't stick to it for the whole week if it were me I would stick to LC and maybe have a break for the last day or two. Try to get out of the all or nothing mindset - which I can be guilty of! Lol

JemimaMuddledUp · 23/05/2016 11:24

BIWI I know where I went wrong - not enough fat (as the more I ate the more it reacted with my meds and gave me awful heartburn).

Wintersea · 23/05/2016 11:26

Ashamed of my total maths fail! Did conversion online without really thinking it through and yes it's obviously converted using a decimal system. Hv the maths equivalent of dyslexia, really...
Ok so I am 167llbs (my scales were indecisive again so I am eering on the side of caution) so 3llbs off not 1!
God seems so obvious now.

Veryflummoxed · 23/05/2016 11:28

That's fantastic Eva50. Smile

regularbutpanickingabit · 23/05/2016 11:33

I think I have lost 5.5lb which is great! I only think because my scales seem to be playing silly buggers and in the same half an hour have weighed me between 5 and 10 (!!)lb off. Anyway, they sort of seem to have stopped again at 5.5lb so I will go with that. I am mid hideous period and I usually take another 4/5 days to lose this week's period weight so I am thrilled.

Had a sausage in sauce and piece of cheese for early brekkie
About to snack on some celery and cream cheese and smoked salmon
Lunch will be left over indian chicken, spinach and maybe some avocado later
Dinner - chicken, asparagus, tomatoes, feta and lots of butter and parmesan

Wintersea · 23/05/2016 11:36

Yes well done Eva50 - just read yr post!
Please cd some kind soul out me down at 167 (2llbs down not 3!) Honestly....
Right going to work now (nothing to do with maths for anyone who's concerned I'm in charge of a school budget or in banking)

SingToMeInFrench · 23/05/2016 11:38

Weight in is tomorrow for me, started a day late.

Weekend was a complete and utter mess. I failed. I found it so hard to find LC food that would withstand camping/being carried for the entre weekend without being chilled. There was only so much pepparami I could eat over the weekend...it was the middle of the countryside so no tesco express etc. I succumbed to a local bakehouse...as the name suggests, it was carb heavy. I'm so disappointed, but I would have starved. There are no more expedition weekends for the rest of the bootcamp, thank goodness.

Last night, when I got back home I was straight back on LC and cooked the butter chicken (from last thread) with cauli rice. YUM!

StuntNun · 23/05/2016 11:43

Monkey I had a week off at Easter because I was staying with my mum and I still haven't got back to the weight I was before it. It's totally not worth it.

DietChic · 23/05/2016 11:44

Can't quite believe it but 6lbs! V motivating! Yay!

Mookbark · 23/05/2016 11:50

Wintersea Grin
Well done on all the fab losses.

WhiffyBiffer · 23/05/2016 11:55

Just a small loss for me this week but am feeling SO much better and not bingeing/overeating compulsively which is the priority for me. Plus got my period unexpectedly last night, I think LCing can do that? Or did I imagine it.....

nekobus · 23/05/2016 12:18

Some great losses here! Well done everyone Smile

I wasn't able to weigh in this morning but I'm hopeful I've lost a good amount as I was able to wear a bracelet today that I've not been able to get on since I got it for my 40th 3 years ago...

Saturday night out wasn't too bad (apart from the wine and I did eat some lowish carb fruit) but on the Sunday I had a terribly upset tum, not sure if this was due to extra carbs or wine but it certainly meant I didn't eat much yesterday.

Today:
B - 2 babybel, some ham hock
L - rest of ham hoc
S - lots of veg to make up for B and L
D - steak with LC veg prob buttered cabbage

eleven59 · 23/05/2016 12:30

Only 1lb off - bit disappointing but I feel good and belly is defiitely flatter.

Today's food:
B two hard boiled eggs
L Courgetti (love the stuff) lettuce olives and tomatoes with natural yog
planned D Chilli sour crea, guacomole with courgetti and veggies
