flipdoodle Can you not try taking a vitamin C tablet instead? Fruit juice is one of the worst things you can drink from a low carb point of view! Fried tomatoes are OK as long as it's in moderation - they are a fruit, hence the sweetness - and can get carby quite quickly.
DoingIt yes, stuff like Berocca is out because of the sweeteners, unfortunately.
theigloo I'm not sure, but I think you need to download an app to be able to use Google Docs on a phone/ipad

1) is low carbing high fat a long term way of eating or do carbs have to be reintroduced.
I eat low carb most of the time! You don't have to eat bread/pasta/rice/potatoes at all! (I do have occasional 'blips' - occasionally I'll feel like something high carb, but in general I've just got used to not having them)
2) I'm on day 3 of low carbs but feel really tired today and felt shaky and sweaty about an hour after my run this morning. I ate some nuts and a couple of nectarines and some leftover turkey and felt better quickly but I'm still so tired. And a bit grumpy if I'm honest.. Normal?
Yes, it's normal - it's called carb flu! Don't eat the fruit, or the nuts at this stage of Bootcamp - you're only prolonging the length of time it will take you to become fat-adapted. You will feel better very soon - in the meantime, you need to make sure you're keeping your electrolytes balanced, which means sodium, magnesium and potassium. Cook with salt, and put it on your food. You might find that a hot drink made from Oxo or Bovril or Marmite helps you. Other good foods are salmon, avocado, spinach and full fat natural yoghurt.
3) I'm confused about fruit - can I eat it or not?
Have you read Bootcamp rules?! No. Not at all in the first two weeks. After that, when we move on to Bootcamp Light, you can have some in moderation - mainly berries.
Titsalina I've posted about caffeine on the chat thread - it's allowed on Bootcamp. Just be careful it doesn't lead to you using loads of milk!
MushroomTree I don't like the idea of protein shakes - have you looked at the ingredients?! They're full of artificial stuff, which we're trying to avoid. You don't have to eat a lot for breakfast, but it's important in the first couple of weeks to have something, as this helps to keep your blood sugar levels stable.
Eva50 yes they are! There's a couple of recipes using them on the recipe thread.
blacktea that's what Eva was asking about! SlimNoodles is the brand. They're noodles made from the Japanese konjac. Shirataki noodles to the Japanese. Sainsbury also sell them now - but can't remember what the brand is.
Hopelass if you're looking at labels, i.e. if it's a manufactured food, then generally you're looking for things around 4-5g carbs per 100g or under. However, you also need to take into account quantities you're eating - so something like Colmans English mustard is 13g carbs per 100g - but I defy you to eat 100g of English mustard!
LadyAntonella if you're getting your carbs mainly from veg and salad, and you're eating plenty of fat and drinking plenty of water, then you should be fine. You may find that you're likely to need to go less often on a low carb diet - it's normal. Constipation is only defined as having trouble going to the toilet, or having pain when you go.
trixy it wouldn't be a good idea, I'm afraid.
