Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

I think I've added my weight on my iPhone? (184.5 if anyone's able to check.

I'm having coffee with butter and just the sight of it is grossing me out. It gets better right? I'm such a coffee addict that although I will be cutting down significantly I'm afraid the headaches and murderous ideation would only be worse if I started bc and gave up coffee at the same time.

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 16/05/2016 10:57

Also, is anyone else crazy thirsty already? I've had about two litres of water already just to satisfy my thirst.

Why not use double cream socially it's delicious in coffee.

Iamdobby63 · 16/05/2016 11:06

stungun I have the app but still couldn't add weight via spreadsheet, how do you get the two linked?

Deadnettle · 16/05/2016 11:07

I've added my weight and I'm actually quite pleased, I weight 3lbs less than I did 3 weeks ago without really trying.

I have very little will power so I'm hoping all of you will make me stick to bootcamp! I never want to be this fat again.

I have cream at home but none at work so I got a butter packet from the canteen. Is there a limit on double cream at this stage or can I use it freely?

Iamdobby63 · 16/05/2016 11:09

socially I would be surprised if the diet was making you that thirsty this quickly, what have you had today. As suggested try drinking something else (allowed) to see if that quenches your thirst.

I'm in! Want to add myself to the spreadsheet but there are no free Rows and it wouldn't let me insert a row.

Good luck everyone!

KP86 thanks for looking for me in the spreadsheet. Not there yet. Been on my phone and will do it when get on laptop

I see someone up thread is dealing with GCSEs. Good luck! My DD starts A level exams on Thursday.

I'm taking the view she's working hard for that so I can work hard on this.

Iamdobby63 · 16/05/2016 11:11

socially You should limit it, I use 30 - 45 ml per day for example but I water it down for my coffees.

Report
SociallyAcceptableCookie · 16/05/2016 11:13

I had full fat plain yoghurt and double cream for breakfast, with a cup of coffee and double cream. Then about six baby plum tomatoes because I'm used to fruit with yoghurt.

At work I had a piece of cheese and another coffee, this time with a drop of milk and half a butter packet.

My 2 L is pure water, not coffee, and I'm happy with that.

It's also possible I'm still feeling the effects of yesterday's hangover. Blush

KP86 & SayrraT yep, you're right, please can you add me to the list and my weight.
Feels good to have lots of support, got a feeling us newbies will be reading the threads meticulously to keep up.

Iamdobby63 · 16/05/2016 11:14

socially Lol yes, the hangover is probably the cause.

I'm afraid I'll end up having too much dairy if I'm not careful, which can limit weight loss I think. No more cheese or cream is planning for the day though.

Report
SociallyAcceptableCookie · 16/05/2016 11:15

Planned not planning. I'll apologise now for my constant iPhone typos.

I have gained a few pounds lately. My DH is always putting temptation my way and I have no willpower. So I need to be stricter with myself and say no to him. It's alright for him as he has a much higher carb tolerance than me so he isn't as easily derailed.

Today's food so far:
Breakfast: six strawberries with Tesco Finest Greek Yoghurt (I'm breastfeeding so I'm on Bootcamp Light) and three cups of tea with almond milk (very disturbed sleep last night between DS3 and DS4 so my caffeine consumption will be high today.)
Snack: handful of mixed nuts (macadamias, brazils, walnuts and almonds) and a cup of tea with almond milk.
Lunch: two griddled 99% beefburgers and three eggs fried in butter, a pint of water and yet another cup of tea with almond milk.

Flyright - I think it was me with the GCSE. It's only one this year thankfully. They do a half GCSE in RS in year 10 and then do the rest next year. He is now done and home again. Migrained out. Hope your DD does ok in her A levels. And yes if she is working at that we can work at this!

Hi all!

Starting today at 175, up a few pounds after a weekend in Germany that turned out to be a bit of a carb-fest! But I'm stone down overall this year, having given up sugar on 1st Jan, and I'm hopeful kicking the other carbs will really help speed things up.

I'm following this for the next two weeks:

www.dietdoctor.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/low-carb-doc.pdf

Which seems to follow the same rules as Boot Camp and made shopping etc very easy (if expensive).

So today's food:

Breakfast: small avocado and 3 x scrambled eggs in butter
Lunch: left-over Low-Carb Cheese-Burgers from last night
Dinner: Pesto Chicken Casserole with Feta Chese and Olives
No Snacks!! Shock

Good luck everyone x

Hello! I can't believe I woke up this morning actually excited to get cracking on this.
I filled in the spreadsheet at an index of 100 because I really didn't want anyone to see the 200+ (ahem, ++) that i have reached but then I saw other people being brave and have amended with my true weight.

B: piece of cheddar wrapped in parma ham before racing out to school
B2: scrambled eggs with cream and butter with a handful of spinach
L: made the butternut squash soup yesterday for everyone to remind myself how much i loved it! So, leftovers of that plus some avocado and mozzarella. I am hungry
D: Have some pork steaks with asparagus and feta.
Have drunk 2 pints of water and a peppermint tea but forgot about the no caffeine rule and also had a black coffee.
Need to shop for tomorrow.

SayrraT · 16/05/2016 12:08

I will add more rows to the spreadsheet later so if there is not space for you now check back later

Hello! I added my weight (223lb) Blush

Today my plan is:

B - bio yoghurt (I only had full fat yeo valley), it's a bit higher in carbs but I'll get Greek yoghurt later.

L - think it's going to be tuna and cheese omelette and avocado yum

D - going to look up a recipe for something with mince and aubergine, moussaka type thing with little gem and spinach salad

I made a bulletproof coffee mid morning with 1tsp butter and 1 tsp coconut oil in the nitro blender. It was yum and will make a fab substitute for my daily latte!
