Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Gah! Tried on my phone but made me download an app and then I need to register? Is there an easier way?

victrix I have no idea, I just copy the last list as it is.

Add your name to the bottom of the spreadsheet and I'll re-order it later. Don't want to delete/change Victoria in case it is someone else.

Not sure that I want to stand on scales as I expect I weigh about 240 lbs and I don't want to know! I've definitely put weight on since starting my new post-doc and buying the house. No excuses anymore!

Good luck everyone, I'm having eggs and coffee with cream for breakfast; tuna mayo in lettuce wraps for lunch and melanzane parmigiana for dinner. FF yog and pork scratchings ready for snacks.

I'm back as I really need some discipline , the deadly carb creep, and to cut out the booze. Im up 20lbs-ish but it feels really yucky as I'm still running 3 times a week.

LCHF boot camp amp newbie here, checking in.

I really need to lose weight; always been overweight, short, just turned 50, I love baking, I love bread, I have a seriously sweet tooth, have a slim DH and 2 slim DC who eat the stuff I bake.

This is going to be hard, isn't it?

Just off to weigh myself, not looking forward to that!

Can I jump in too? Forgot to add my name on the list. Really need to lose a stone at least for the summer, I weigh almost as much now as I did when pregnant with DD (who's now 4!)
Shall I just add my name in the spreadsheet?
I've kicked off with scrambled egg and ham for breakfast.

Morning all, I have been on this woe since the last bootcamp and I am continuing to lose. But, I have a bloated tummy due to carb creep so am glad to have the support thread to keep me on track.

Just weighed and I am delighted (most people wouldn't be!!) but I am only (haha) 229 lbs.

Morning! Feeling very psyched up today. I can't add my weight either if someone could put me down for 147lb that would be great, or I'll do it when I'm on a computer later today. Food I'm planning (after some serous meal prep yesterday:
B Mint and feta egg muffins with FF yogurt
L Smoked mackerel and avocado salad
D I've got to grab something on my way to a meeting but I think Pret's Italian chicken salad looks LC
Will have some babybels on hand for snacks if needed.

Fab! I have a warm fuzzy feeling that I've not had when embarking on a new woe in a long time. Smile

I've started the day with 2 glasses of water and a large mushroom omelette fried up in butter. My Fitbit died but I'm going to go for at least one walk a day even if it's 15 minutes, more to stop me sitting in the house dreaming of toast than anything else.

Good morning. I'm pinning all my hopes on this! Today I'm planning

Breakfasts: poached egg, spinach and mushrooms/butter
Lunch: tuna salad with FF mayonnaise
Dinner: low carb sausage, swede and cabbage/butter

I have FF total and babybel on standby but hope not to need them. I hope today's menu is ok.

I'm actually feeling quite excited. Could someone add my weight to the spreadsheet please (230lbs). Arrrgh 20lbs up!

Can I join too please? My weight has been creeping up since Xmas and I really need to get motivated again. All my clothes are starting to feel uncomfortably tight now.

I've been sort of low carbing for the last week already although somehow a large bread roll made its way onto the menu Saturday & a burger bun on Sunday so I'm hoping this will give me the kick up the bum I need!

I'll add my name & weight to the bottom of the list if that's okay.

Turns out I can't actually add myself as I'm on my phone. Thought it would work as I have the spreadsheet app but seems not.

Morning all!

Off to Moscow this morning, so have no idea what my food choices are going to be! I'm staying at a hotel I've stayed at before, and remember that there were low carb option available, but during the day I don't have a clue. However, not only am I accountable to you lot, I also have to weigh in for my trainer on Friday, so hopefully all of that will keep me on track.

Lovely to see some familiar 'faces' here! Hopefully all you experienced Bootcampers can also help keep our newbies on track.

Good morning all. Hat off to those who've already eaten breakfast. I have all the makings for low carb breakfast and lunch and snacks in the fridge but not sure what I'll actually have yet. Plus DH cooks evening meal. Will cook low carb but he shops for bargains so I won't know what we're having till later so I will post after eating. Am very excited (new to boot camp) and thank you so much to those putting in all the hard work Flowers

For those on you on ipads who cannot edit the sheet try this:

ipad users if you are unable to update the weigh in sheet download an app called Google Sheets free from the App Store, sign in - does not have to be a Google account, I used my outlook one - next time you have clicked on the sheet link go to the app and you should see the sheet listed there, open it up and you should be able to edit it I think lex worked this out before. I don't have an ipad to test it though.

Unfortunately there does seem to be an issue with using the spreadsheet on a phone or tablet so if you can, then please try to input your weight on a laptop or desktop (if anyone has one anymore Grin).

wombat has very kindly offered to check through the thread each evening to update those who cannot manage. To make it easier to spot could you ask in bold for your weight to be added

Oh, another useful spreadsheet for meal planning which I made is this one: Low Carb Meal Ideas it has most of the recipe thread meals on it split into categories and with carb counts for some of the recipes.

Morning! Those of us using iPhones won't be able to post to the spreadsheet as Google haven't given us that facility even with the Sheets app - if you have an iPhone you'll need to use a desktop PC or post your weight on the thread.

B: Scrambled egg with bacon and plum tomatoes
