Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Morning all - I am so pleased that this day has arrived as I couldn't be more ready for some bootcamp action!

Weighed in at 175lb this morning which is about 7lb more than when I last weighed myself - just a week ago!!! I blame the fact it was my birthday on Friday which I used as an excuse for a weekend of carb twattery, so ate shedloads of birthday cake and countless other stupid foods. Is also totm which probably doesn't help the cause.

Need to lose a stone on this bootcamp, but ideally 1.5st which would take me to 11st which is less than I weighed on my wedding day. Last time I properly bootcamped I lost 2st so I know it works, which is in itself very motivating!

I also have two clear weeks ahead with no plans that I could use as excuses to fall off so I am all up for super strict behaviour!

B - two eggs fried in butter, half an avocado, a slice of parma ham, splashes of tabasco and a coffee

Good morning all and good luck!

I'm a bit scared to weigh myself but feel in good company here. The only way is up! (Or down!) Spicy omelette for breakfast and going to make a real effort to drink lots of water.

Just wanted to share a photo of my delicious breakfast - BLT! Large lettuce leaf, smothered in mayo, thin slice of tomato & a slice of crispy bacon.

I was going to index from 100 as I am so ashamed at the amount that I currently weigh.

But fuck it.

Accountability is something I need. So I have added my actual weight to the chart and will do it here too - 275lbs. That is insane in any scenario. So, goodbye 275, I will never see you again.

Well done doingit you have nothing to be ashamed of, we are all in the same boat here whether we have 10 lbs or 100 lbs to lose.

dailymail the spreadsheet works in lbs so you will need to convert your weight.

Well done miss rainbow for reading, and following, my request. I'll add your name and weight later. I'm at work just now.

Morning all! Could someone add my weight please? 132lb. I'm exactly a stone heavier than this time last year, some of you may remember I fell off the wagon good and proper after dh's diagnosis. Anyway onwards and upwards from now on.

I love low carbing at this time of year, so easy to eat well with lots of salads and meats etc, makes me feel so good!

I joined a running group last month and will be running with a friend tonight, usually aim for 6 miles so hopefully this will also help get me back to where I was.

Have a great day everyone x

I've updated everyone I could find on the spreadsheet.

MissRainbowBrite and flyright, I couldn't find either of you (maybe under an old nickname?)

I've been LCing for three months now, and have lost just over 2 stone. Feeling pretty good about it all, really! I am not brilliant at the whole avoiding fake foods/preservatives thing, so will see how I go. At the very least I will stick to 20g/carbs. I also track calories, but that's a personal thing for me so that I stop myself from binging, it would be far too easy for me to overeat and not listen to hunger cues, just because something tastes good and I want it.

Plans for today:
B: spoon coconut oil, decaf coffee with double cream
L: not sure yet, maybe tuna mayo and salad
D: Debbie and Andrew's Perfect Pork sausages X 2 (I second an earlier poster, and I think they are on offer at Ocado this month as well) with steamed and buttered broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus
Snacks: pork scratchings (Poundland has some really nice ones in a light gold packet if anyone is looking), sugar free jelly and about 150ml cheesecake mix made with double cream, FF cream cheese, a touch of Natvia and lemon juice, all whipped together.

KP86 on Bootcamp we're not allowed artificial sweeteners for the first two weeks, so you need to knock the sugar-free jelly and Natvia on the head I'm afraid.

There are three reasons for avoiding artificial sweeteners.

  1. They're fake, and we're trying to eat fresh, natural and unprocessed foods.

  1. We're also trying to break the hold that sweet things have on us, so even if they're low carb, you're still indulging your sweet tooth

  1. There's some suggestion that artificial sweeteners can have the same effect on the body as sugar.

Sayrra I would love to be your diet buddy. I have put on 20lbs in the last 6 months. I'm blaming a change of medication but in reality it's lack of willpower. I don't have a laptop. My older boys (20 & 18) do but they are password protected and I would have to get them to add my weight. I really can't bring myself to tell them how heavy I am. They think I'm perfect Grin. I will try to master the spreadsheet on my iPad.

Stressful start to the week here. DS is yr 10 and doing a half GCSE in RS this morning. After 10 days of almost daily migraines of course he got another migraine at 5am so I've had to arrange for him to do exam in Medi centre at school, get painkillers into him and drop him off etc. Left him looking like a ghost and still in pain and feeling sick. Poor thing.

Will add my weight on computer later but am currently 221lbs. That is 15 stone 11. Lightest I've been over last few years was 14 st 10 this time two years ago so that is my first goal. We go on holiday on July 12 so if I can do it by then I'll be happy. Obviously losing more would be even better!

Breakfast was scrambled eggs with left over sausages (low carb) and halloumi from BBQ last night.
Lunch will be chicken salad with yummy Delouis mayo and avocado
Dinner will be steak and roast veg.
I have Babybels and olives if I need a snack.

Just having a cup of tea before switching to herbal teas and water.

Good luck everyone.

Good morning all!

Checking in for day one, really want to make this work this time. I've put on a few pounds (understatement!) since last BC so need to get back on track. I want to feel good in my summer clothes Smile

Today's plan:
B - avocado, coffee with cream
L - salad with olives, crispy bacon, dressing, cheese
D - roast chicken thighs with salad and LC veg
S - babybel, tea with soya milk
3L water

Could someone add me at 181.8 thanks!

Thanks BIWI and Sayrra,

I am inspired and determined. Started the day with hot flax porridge, which was a surprisingly good substitute for oat porridge as I added lots of nutmeg and the cream made it feel like a bit of a treat.
Full steam ahead for the rest of the day.

Meals planned :
Lunch Greek salad
Dinner baked aubergine with harrisa and mozzarella.

I am vegetarian so am loving being able to eat all this cheese but I will need to start studying the recipe thread for inspiration and alternatives. I am also finding the info on the top of the spreadsheet really useful.

My starting weight is 178lb. Would someone please add this to the spreadsheet for me. Can you access the spreadsheet from an iPad or iPhone? If so, how?? 🤔

Morning all. Unfortuately even using the app there doesn't seem to be a way of using the spreadsheet on an iPad, unless I'm missing something. Have added weight via PC

I have been successfully low carbing for some time and am 2 stone lighter, however I still have around 7lbs to go which seem to be taking some time, nothing to do with the diet just eating too much of the allowed foods plus the occasional 'planned slips'.

Over time as I have felt better and slimmer I have become more relaxed and have been juggling the same two pounds for a long time. Sharing the journey with you lovely people will push me forward to goal.

Not much of a breakfast person but had a hard boiled egg and a coffee with watered down double cream.

Lunch: 2 flax and mozzarella crackers topped with cheese, 3 cherry tomatoes.

Dinner 2 low carb sausages with cauliflower cheese.

Hello all - think I have added myself to sheet but I'll check in a bit if it's still there!

I've been doing a stop-start version of lchf and I'm around 11lbs down over a few weeks. Am really determined to keep going and, despite pissing about testing out some of the theory, I'm happy to stick to BIWI's rules! Grin

Start weight 172lbs, which is better than the 196lbs I was at the start of the year.

This is my first boot camp. I can't do really really low carb as it messes with my medication, but I will be going as low as I can. For this reason I won't post everything I eat as it won't all fit and might upset people trying to really stick to it! But I'm hoping to be inspired by your food ideas.

On an iPad or iPhone you need the Google Sheets app to be able to amend the spreadsheet.
