Welcome everyone!

We have around 130 people signed up this time, so it's going to be a busy and fast-moving thread.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your weight.

The lovely Sayrra manages the spreadsheet. Please don't mess with it! Just enter your weight and leave all the other columns/rows alone!

I'll start a questions thread to run along side this chat thread, so that you can post stuff there in the knowledge that your question will definitely be seen. (I can't promise to get to your questions immediately, but I will read and answer them)

And please, please, please - no matter how fast-moving the thread is, please read the whole thing and don't just post your own thing. You'll miss a lot of valuable stuff that way, and it also presumes that I (and other posters) are happy to keep repeating stuff.

But above all, very good luck everyone!

Veryflummoxed make sure your DH knows the rules! Print out the allowed veg list and stick it somewhere he can see it!

Beyond, I can't find you on the spreadsheet, might you be under a different NN?

Scratch that - I just wasn't looking properly. Added for you.

Morning all. Been low carbing a week now. Very excited to be starting officially on bootcamp today.
Bit fluey this morning? But have found I'm not even slightly hungry with this at all (yay!) and enjoying access to the butter dish Grin

I just added my name to the list, hope that's ok, not even sure if it's saved it or not?

I was about to start doing no carbs this week but thought id rather do Low carbs with you lot for support.

Taking ds to nursery now then going to the gym so will not eat till i've had a chance to read through the allowed foods. The last time i did low carbs was 8 years ago Blush I lost a stone for a holiday and looked the best ive ever looked. I want to be back there again by august before a holiday with the family.

Have added my weight to spreadsheet. I have already been LCing for 3 weeks, but despite enjoying the food, not getting much in the way of side effects (apart from slight headache for the first couple of days) and pretty much sticking to the rules, I have only lost 3lb so far (2lb first week, nothing second week, 1lb third week). Am hoping that might improve.

Thanks for the new BC BIWI Flowers Good luck everyone!

I'm doing a half-arsed version of BC this week as it's my wedding anniversary on the weekend and we have afternoon tea, a meal out, and are also going out with friends on Sunday, so suspect there will be some booze consumed, if nothing else. I'm also due to find out if I am being made redundant so am being a bit kind to myself for the next few days.

From next Monday, I'm on it properly, and am even considering giving up booze for four weeks (til my birthday) Shock Totally disorganised though and not done any proper planning, so today's meals will be a bit random.

B: Pack of M&S crispy bacon strips
L: Some kind of M&S salad
D: I have some chicken thighs in the fridge, so assuming they are not off, I will fry them and have with random fridge veg.

Seriously need to do an online shop!

Morning :)

I have been doing BC for just over 2 weeks already. I have lost 1.5 stone this year so far, but 12lbs of that has been by doing BC! So it shows how much better low carb is for my body. I have been pre-warned by BIWI that I may sts the next couple of weeks, but I am prepared for it.

I am doing BClite now I think, by adding a few nuts or a square of dark choc. I have chicken satay planned for dinner.

Good luck everyone, hope you all get amazing results!

Doing online shop and these are really good sausages. Less than 0.5g carbs per sausage. They are very tasty and filling as well.

Morning all

Exciting isn't it! Love all the hope and enthusiasm.

I'm new to boot camp. Been low carbing for around 3 weeks and lost 5 pounds. Quite pleased with that as beforehand was trying to just count cals and was faffing around losing and gaining the same few pounds.

And I probably could have lost a few more if I'd properly got my head round fruit and the carb content of apples. And if I'd been better about dark chocolate and wine Blush

I'm 206 pounds. 14 10. Sounds terrible whichever way I say it. First challenge is get under 200.

Looking forward to it and many thanks to everyone putting in all the work and everyone who is contributing their experiences

Here's to a great start for us all

I've just managed to add myself, I logged onto the laptop in the end.

Breakfast this morning was Greek Yoghurt, lunch will be a green salad with boiled eggs and olive oil dressing and dinner will be more salad with chicken thighs.

I haven't really planned any snacks but I have plenty of veg in the fridge, hopefully tomorrow I'll be a bit more organised!

Can I ask if you've done BC before, do you get less symptoms or side effects each time you do BC? Does that even make sense? Have been doing it for two days now and normally my head is killing and I'm starving but this time, touch wood, I'm fine?! Promise I haven't cheated too!

Whistle73 · 16/05/2016 08:58

Morning all, looking forward to this!

Not had breakfast yet but will be cooking myself microwaved scrambled eggs with butter at work in a bit.
Lunch is left over roast chicken thigh and veg from last night. Dinner will be salmon. Have some cottage cheese for a snack if needed.
For anyone put off by the cost of food on this woe, get yourself to Lidl!
Their steaks are on offer at the mo and are really good quality. Did a massive shop there yesterday and stocked up on all sorts of goodies.

Don't worry if you feel starving hungry for the first day or two - just keep eating the right stuff and the hunger pangs soon disappear - usually by day 3 in my experience before.

Morning everyone!

My starting weight is 168lbs. Need to lose about 10 I think, but more would be lovely too!

Plan for today is:

B: Asparagus frittata (from recipe thread - it was damn delicious) with avocado

L & D: tbc after I go shopping! Possibly slow cooked beef curry for dinner with salad. Lunch might be some sort of soup if I have time, or something low carb from m&s if I don't.

Taking DD to her swimming lesson at 10:30 so hopefully that will stave off any carb cravings this morning, or at least distract me.

Good luck all!
