Morning campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I hope it was a good week, and I hope that those of you who have been suffering from carb flu are starting to feel better. Remember, keep up the electrolytes - sodium, potassium and magnesium. Which means firstly that you have to make sure you're getting plenty of salt - so salt your food during cooking and add salt to cooked food.

For potassium, you could also consider Lo-Salt. Good foods for all electrolytes include salmon, avocado, spinach and full fat (of course!) natural yoghurt.

A note about weighing in

If you're a daily weigher, you have several different options. You can either just record your weight every Monday (or whatever regular day of the week you choose - I am going to start weighing in on a Saturday, because my trainer records my weight as well, to keep me on track!).

Or you can record the lowest weight you achieved in that week

Or you can average your weights and record the average.

Whatever you decide, I hope it's a positive result!

Me neither feekerry I find myself in the kitchen ready to prep a snack out of habit because I'm rarely genuinely hungry.

B: egg muffins
L: total FF yog with a tsp of flax (for medicinal purposes)
D: steak, salad and kale crisps.

Haven't had enough water today, still 2l to go.

BIWI · 26/01/2016 20:08

Dartmoor Peas?! WTF?! Peas are NOT allowed on Bootcamp - or even Bootcamp Light!

And nor should you be eating the fish finger.

I know that you haven't really got that much weight to lose - but please - stop posting about cheating. You did it recently about eating fairy cakes as well.

Why are you so intent on sabotaging yourself?

OP posts:
DartmoorDoughnut · 26/01/2016 20:14

Didn't realise peas were bad!

I was not posting about cheating on purpose FFS, I took on board what was said.

BippityBoppity · 26/01/2016 20:17

Weighed myself yesterday, but I think the scales were out (showed a loss of 22lbs since Friday!!). Bit worrying as it's a hospital scale that should

BIWI · 26/01/2016 20:18

Please read the rules. Please look at the list of allowed veg.

You may not be cheating on purpose, but you are cheating because you're not following the rules. And you're posting about what you're eating/cheating with - which can be hugely triggering for other people, which is what you were reminded of on the last thread.

OP posts:
BIWI · 26/01/2016 20:20

In the interests of clarity - NO legumes or pulses are allowed on Bootcamp. No peas, sweetcorn, lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, of any kind. Even during Bootcamp Light.

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 26/01/2016 20:20

Oh yes biwi!! I made a batch of egg muffins and froze them! Totally forgot about those, perfect for working nights.

I'm loving biwi having her 'WTF' moments when someone messes up! Grin

BippityBoppity · 26/01/2016 20:21

Bum! Try again!

It's a hospital scales that should be regularly calibrated. I'll buy a scale in the week and use them.

Anyway, meals today have been:
B - Scrambled eggs
L - Egg mayo salad
D - Steak with broccoli and leeks in a creamy pepper sauce

I have lamb breast in the fridge. Does anyone know if it can be cooked in the slow cooker

NigellasGuest · 26/01/2016 20:26

For dinner I fried up some turkey mince in butter with a load of veg (courgette, celery, garlic, shallot, aubergine). Then, FF Total with double cream and vanilla extract.

Now I'm sitting watching Sugar Free Farm with DD!

DartmoorDoughnut · 26/01/2016 20:27

I will read them again now. It honestly wasn't on purpose! Flowers

NigellasGuest · 26/01/2016 20:28

Bippity I'm sure you can cook lamb breast in the slow cooker

BippityBoppity · 26/01/2016 20:29

Thanks Nigellas

BIWI · 26/01/2016 20:36

I'm sure it wasn't, Dartmoor! Grin

I think my most amazing accomplishment is not having any diet coke since starting this.

I can honestly say there isn't a day in the last 25 years where I haven't had several diet cokes. I'm getting used to water.

My treat of the day though is my morning water with a effervescent Vit c. It doesn't have any ingredients in it but it does say 0carbs when I googled and 10 calories so I hope it's allowed? Just wish I could have more than one a day but apparantly that would raise the risk of kidney stones as too much Vit c.

BIWI · 26/01/2016 20:47

The only thing you need to be wary of there, Who, is if they contain artificial sweeteners.

OP posts:
LexLoofah · 26/01/2016 21:05

B - air dried ham, scr eggs, avo
L - shrimp, squid, chorizo butter bake thingy from saucy fish co over lambs lettuce
D - fat head pepperoni pizza, cucumber

re: fat head pizza and the cauli one, I also flip after the first bake before topping then the underside of the final product is crispy already. Also put the tomato sauce on with a pastry brush rather than a spoon as saves being too heavy handed which can make them soggy. Finally I make my own tomato sauce as needs to be fairly dry so heat a tin of chopped tomatoes with a huge slice of butter until fairly well reduced.

For those that can't be bothered or wait until next week there is always meatza much beloved by all in our house

ChesterDrawers · 26/01/2016 21:12

Tea was two LC sausages, swede mash with butter and roast broccoli.

Ended up snacking on three microwaved babybels when I got home as for some reason they weren't working right - rather than puffing up they were flat like a biscuit. What did I do wrong? I still ate them with butter and marmite on them but they weren't as good as the other day. Help!

hefzi · 26/01/2016 21:30

Bippity my last pair of scales - they were weighing under by a stone and a half: got a horrible shock when I replaced them, as I was fed up enough at a stone and a half less! Perhaps you have lost 22lbs since Friday? You don't usually weigh yourself carrying a child or something Wink?

RomiiRoo · 26/01/2016 21:31

Hoping I have knocked the hunger on the head now; I feel full today. I am worried I have over done it and eaten too much, will see tomorrow.

My new favourite breakfast is spinach, with two poached eggs and mayonnaise. Seriously yummy.

NigellasGuest · 26/01/2016 21:39

WhoTheFuck that is a fantastic achievement re. the Diet Coke!!!

Can you try having fizzy water after your Vit C? Sounds boring and I never used to drink it, but now I do and really really enjoy drinking it, as opposed to just having it to up my water intake.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 26/01/2016 21:53

I hate plain fizzy water, tastes odd.

StuntNun · 26/01/2016 21:57

Nigella I usually have half my plate full of veg. You don't need to have too much protein, around 20-30% of your calories is a good amount. Below 15% isn't enough and above 30-40% can stall weight loss unless you're doing a lot of exercise.

Suzymoo I like rooibos tea with a spoonful of coconut oil. The medium chain triglycerides give you a good energy boost. So long as you aren't having more than a couple a day I can't see that being a problem.

Ami9 no need to exercise. It probably won't speed up weight loss unless you're doing an awful lot. Free weights and high intensity interval training (HIIT) are the best options if you do decide to incorporate exercise. If you have more than a stone of weight to lose then I do suggest doing some form of exercise during weight loss. My experience of weight loss was that when I reached my goal of my pre-pregnancy weight, my body looked very different from pre-pregnancy. The 30-Day Shred made all the difference by toning up my upper arms, my legs, bum and abdomen. I like the 30-Day Shred because you can do it in your home without needing much equipment and it's good for toning all over. The first two levels are on YouTube so you don't have to pay any money to get started on it.

Gcalgske · 26/01/2016 22:00

It's weird but I find aldi fizzy water sweet tasting....it's my favourite over badoit, Perrier, highland Spring etc. It's 99p for 8l

B: creamy coffee
L: chicken wings with cucumber and a a tbsp of peri peri sauce (only 3.2g/100ml) and butter.
D: mince cooked with shallot, olive oil, mushrooms, chilli powder and smoked paprika topped with cheesy cauliflower mash. Sort of like a chilli cottage pie.

Loads of water - glug. Nearly lost it at Pilates while balanced over the ball. Hmm

2sq 85% cocoa green and blacks

FelicityFunknickle · 26/01/2016 22:08

Hi everyone.
I am pleased to say my appetite remains pretty low.
No actual cravings, although I am missing gin and wine Blush
B: feta and spinach omelette. BPC
L: feta and spinach omlette, mayo, spinach salad
D: cauli rice, kale and leftover chicken stir fried in olive oil and chinese five spice.
Still struggling to get the water in. Partly due to huge amount of time out of reach of a loo.

mustbemad71 · 26/01/2016 22:11

Did someone up thread say that periods can be messed up? I've come on 4 days early. Been scrolling back can't find the wise words - think it was Stuntnun that gave the advice?
