Morning all!

Here, for the last time this Bootcamp is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Hopefully the scales will be kind to you for our last weigh-in!

For those of you that are still here - even you lurking at the back! - it would be great to hear how much you've lost this Bootcamp.

And also, we'll keep this thread going for chat - when it fills up I'll start another general low carb chat thread.

charlie it's not for a while but we're continuing on this one til the next one.

I've done fine the last few days. Been off caffeine totally and have had extremely limited dairy. Lots of peppermint teas and water to drink. Haven't been weighing much, but hopped on a few days ago and I was down 2lbs which is awesome. Just got to koko

Hope everyone else is ok

StuntNun · 27/07/2015 21:12

Back I lost just over 2lb in three days on the egg fast I designed based on Jimmy Moore's template taking my weight to 9st 3lb. There was a thread about it at the time. The plan you linked to looks pretty reasonable except I would suggest keeping cheese to an absolute minimum, don't eat the full six ounces unless you really need it. While I had success with the egg fast I have two reservations:

It dropped me below the recommended daily protein intake. This probably isn't a problem over three days but I some people do the egg fast once a week and that would almost certainly result in losing lean muscle rather than just fat.

It's possible to achieve the same macros without following the strict egg fast rules. If I were to do it again I would probably go for two egg meals a day following the rules (one ounce of fat for every egg and up to one ounce of cheese for every egg) but make my dinner something like steak and salad or sardines and salad that would be very low carb but up the protein a little and provide at least some green stuff.

Hi everyone
Quick message to get this on Threads I am on. I weighed this morning and maintaining at lowest BC weight, so I am happy with that. Curious to see when and what causes it to creep up, so monitoring that.
Hope everyone is doing wellFlowers

CharlieSierra · 27/07/2015 21:51

I'll join in until the next official one then if that's ok, help to keep on the straight and narrow. DD got engaged last week and I'm determined to be properly slim for the wedding.

BIWI · 27/07/2015 22:27

Next one won't be until around October, Charlie. But this thread will keep going (and I'll start a new one when this one gets full!)

Congratulations to DD!

I got a cheapo spiraliser from a Amazon. It was about £20, it's ok for courgettes but there is a knack to it and sometimes I just don't have the knack...

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 28/07/2015 05:09

Thanks BIWI, salt intake still pretty high I think, but always good to get a reminder. Although not as high as DH would like, but then he burnt his tastebuds out some years ago, I think!

Romey - I'd "Watch" this thread rather than just sticking it on your TIO, just in case.

I was indeed 4lb down this morning, just a little more in fact - but I have old-fashioned scales so can't do parts of lbs with any accuracy. But yay anyway!

Romeyroo · 28/07/2015 05:58

Charlie, how lovely - congratulations to your DD!

Thumb, thanks, I will do that. I am not posting much due to it being the holidays and other issues, but I want to keep up with the thread.

And well done on the lossStar

Romeyroo · 28/07/2015 06:00

Oh, and I have a cheap hand held spiraliser, I love it for courgettes, but also cucumber. Spiralised cucumber with mayonnaise and chicken was my favourite dish at one pointSmile

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 28/07/2015 06:36

Thanks Romey!

And sorry Charlie, I missed your post - congratulations to your DD!

Gcalgske · 28/07/2015 09:55

Congrats to your day Charlie!

Gcalgske · 28/07/2015 11:58

Dd sorry autocorrect!

LexLoofah · 28/07/2015 15:11

Great news charlie great goal to slim for

Just had lovely sea bass in butter and lemon at farm shop cafe for lunch and will be hm fish pie with mashed cauli topping for tea so v fishy day

Loving hot/warm water in a mug with lemon slice

First weigh in this morning since arriving 3 weeks ago and down 6lb which cannot be right, might be due to scales being on bedroom carpet, will move to bathroom and see if it makes a difference...

Gcalgske · 28/07/2015 15:44

How's everyone? I'm not very hungry atm. Had bpc at brekkie and I've had some chicken wings for lunch. Just put a kg of chicken wings in the slow cooker with acv salt and pepper. Smells yummy already. I love a bone broth when I've no appetite- just melt in a wee pat of butter for an instant meal.

billabye · 28/07/2015 17:56

I bought some almond butter and hazelnut butter but haven't idea what to do with them. Any tips?

trashcanjunkie · 28/07/2015 18:53

Watch out with them billabye the ones I've seen are bloody carby.

I'm doing fine, shopping day tomorrow, so off to stock up. Not sure what to do about dinner tonight. I have chicken thighs, which will fry up very nicely, and I'm dreaming about making a little bit of broccoli and cauliflower with some melted cheese. I have the fear though - it might be a disaster for my guts. The other snag is, I have eaten three times today, but they were all quite meagre meals. A chunky burger with mayo first thing, some three slices of Edam and salami for lunch, and then tuna mayo with little gem leaves for an early tea. Am hungry again now though, so chicken thighs it will be.

trashcanjunkie · 28/07/2015 19:00

Ha, or steak! Plan change - we are going out for dinner!

billabye · 28/07/2015 19:35

They are 100% nut so not too bad. I tasted the almond one and it's very rich so don't think I could eat much in one go.

I wish I was going out for dinner Envy although I'm trying the cubed aubergine and mushroom that was posted up thread with some leftover meatballs and small amount of tomato sauce. Yum!

billabye · 28/07/2015 20:53

Wow the aubergine and mushroom dish was great! Thanks Trash!

Gcalgske · 28/07/2015 21:06

I love almond butter on celery. YUM

Gcalgske · 28/07/2015 21:19

Can we talk gooseberries? I have red and green in the garden. The red are much sweeter but I love the green too. I've seen the green in Tesco and they reckon 3g carb/100g but I cannot find a carb count on the red. They are still very tart but can anyone help?

Dinner was 2x chicken thighs in olive oil (skin on), 1/2 a roasted aubergine sliced up and layered with a small tomato, half a mozzerella ball and a few basil leaves, generously sloshed in olive oil then roast until cheese melted.

Made earl grey tea creams for pudding which are delicious. I don't find they need any sweetner, I warmed 300mls cream with 3 earl grey tea bags in then sprinkled in 1/2 a sachet of gelatin, took out tea bags and poured into 3 little pots.

CharlieSierra · 28/07/2015 22:48

Thanks for the congrats, I'm excited Smile. I'm a bit fed up with myself for not doing this one now, a wasted opportunity. Food has been easy to get back to, I haven't strayed too far, but I need to get back in the water habit. ive had an avocado and a splash of cream in my coffee for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch (oily dressing) and steak, mushrooms and courgettes fried in butter for dinner.

trashcanjunkie · 28/07/2015 23:55

Yeay! so chuffed you enjoyed it billabye Grin

We didn't go out after all, so I did fried chicken thighs with the aforementioned cheesy veg.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 29/07/2015 01:13

ARgh! I am ill! I have the runs, not entirely sure why; what do I do? Normally when I have digestive upset I stop eating fat altogether and just drink dilute ginger ale and have dry biscuits - can't do that on this WOE, so what can I eat that won't irritate me? I'm worried about veg for the fibre, and dairy/proteins for the fats - what's left?

Hope your gut withstood your cheesy veg ok, trashie

Lex - what can't you believe, is 6lb too small or too big a loss for you?

BIWI · 29/07/2015 07:31

Sorry to hear that, Thumb

What about some boiled or scrambled eggs? With some ginger tea?
