CharlieSierra are u sure we not working in the same place, thx goddess for maternity leave but waves still hitting me. Poor you. Hopefully it won't last forever Flowers

BestIsWest · 17/11/2014 19:33

Well done all you losers. Not weighing now until the end of bootcamp as promised Sayra.

Mo, day one of upping the fat didn't start well as I slept late and had no time to make a BPC so just had coffee with cream,

Lunch was salmon with lots of Mayo, avocado and salad with an oily vinaigrette and dinner will be chicken thighs with skin on and leeks with butter and cream.

Might have some coconut cream after.

1.5 litres of water to go.

CharlieSierra · 17/11/2014 20:30

BIWI I wouldn't eat the dip, but I don't think I'll buy them. I had a big family thing yesterday and I made pulled pork. When the meat was done having cooked very slowly, I took off the crackling and put it back in a really hot oven and it was the most amazing I have ever made, it was devoured, I regret not hiding some for me, but I'll definitely do it like that in future.

Thanks for the support, I've had a better day today, and haven't needed any pain meds so far, I hope this woe will shorten any flare ups. Just had a lovely piece of salmon and some green veg smothered in hollandaise, so not finding it too hard to ignore the pudding left overs in the fridge!

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 17/11/2014 20:49

Evening everyone, congratulations to all the losers! I'm getting back on the straight and narrow - ubercamp in the week, BCL at the weekends. I have four weeks to go until the first Christmas party so I'm going to use this opportunity for strictness Grin. I really daren't face the scales today [sticks head in sand].

Fairly irrelevant but I stay in ketosis if I stay below about 35g carbs daily so I'm ketotic even on BCL. Different metabolisms huh? The problem is I run slower when I'm ketotic and that really does annoy me- I did some timings over the weekend after falling into the carb pit and I was a full minute per mile faster.

I really have to let go of the running speed obsession - I'm doing bootcamp to loose weight, not to run faster! It's just that I'm a real goals and numbers geek and getting faster keeps me going.

MoJangled · 17/11/2014 21:35

Gointothewoods OMG that is a horrific day. I'm so sorry and well done for not diving into a pile of chocolate!

Charlie I hope you feel better soon.

For all pork scratchings fans, here's my tip: if you can't get round to Charlie 's house for a sample of her home-cooked crackling, and you can get to an independent butchers, many of them seem to do lovely fresh pork scratchings without all the monosodium glutamate, nitrates, dodgy seasonings and shite. A million miles from the awful service station packets.

Best sounds pretty good to me. I had coffee with cream and butter twice, a 2-egg omelette in butter; avocado chicken and watercress salad in a swamp of olive oil for lunch, herb tea with butter in it (RANK), pork stir-fry with coconut rice with - you guessed it - butter for supper. 3l water. I may have greek yog with cream later but in all honesty I may turn into a grease spot if I do.

Weds / thurs are going to be a challenge as I'm away for work at a series of catered do's but i'll cross that bridge when I skid over it on an oil slick.

Hi everyone!
Had an amazing day on Saturday, although I are and drank far too much!! We were so lucky with the weather. I've attached a wee photo if anybody wants to see it?
Going to Sharm el Sheikh on Wednesday morning but I'm going to try to stay on the wagon as much as possible.
Thanks BIWI and everyone else, would never have got to this point without you!

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 18/11/2014 01:49

readyforno2 that picture is amazing.

toomuchicecream · 18/11/2014 06:18

Fab picture!

I'm a couple more lb down this week. But as I'm now 0.5lb from losing a stone this bc and going down another number on the scales, I'm settled in for a couple of weeks stall, cos that's the way it always seems to work. Sigh. Keep on keeping on - that's my motto. One meal, one day at a time.

BestIsWest · 18/11/2014 06:36

Congratulations readyforno2. Beautiful picture.

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 18/11/2014 06:57

congratulations readyforno2, that's a lovely photo. Glad that you haves a wonderful day! We had a November wedding, much to the consternation of some of my family. Hopefully you didn't get the torrential rain that we had!

BIWI · 18/11/2014 07:27

Congratulations ready! And what a beautiful photo. Flowers

What a beautiful photo ready - so atmospheric with the mist behind you.

Tanukisan · 18/11/2014 08:20

When I open the spreadsheet it doesn't seem to load properly and I don't get any option to edit it. Would anyone be able to enter my weight for me please? 161. Apparently I have to hang around here forever until I'm allowed down into the 150s Hmm.

Tanukisan · 18/11/2014 08:27

Also on the übercamp instructions, someone seems to have accidentally c+p the meat and eggs shopping list into the meat/no eggs meal plan box!

SayraT · 18/11/2014 08:43

That happened before tanuk Confused I'll sort it when I'm on the laptop.

SayraT · 18/11/2014 08:50

Sorted and added tanukisan sorry I have no idea why the spreadsheet doesn't work for some people Confused

CharlieSierra · 18/11/2014 09:00

Gointothewoods well done for staying on track under extreme adversity!

rybka you might be my boss, she's on mat leave and every night I pray she won't decide not to come back. Her interim replacement is a micro-managing nightmare, who was my peer and will be again soon hopefully, so I can go back to doing my job without her constantly hovering around me trying to direct how to do things she knows absolutely zilch about. Hmm

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 18/11/2014 09:01

sayra- my phone and laptop don't seem to have enough memory/ processing power to deal with it. It's ok on the desktop though. Maybe that's the issue for some people?

SayraT · 18/11/2014 09:19

Maybe, it takes ages to load on my phone and I think spamm used to have a problem too. I think she might be abroad though.

readyforno2 · 18/11/2014 09:28

Thanks everyone, we were exceptionally lucky with the weather. It was awful rain on Friday, but beautiful on Saturday. It was pretty cold but worth it!

Tanukisan · 18/11/2014 09:41

Thanks Sayra / it's almost always worked for me before if I wait long enough, but didn't seem to respond today. It's weird cos surely a site like this is more data than a spreadsheet? Hmm

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 18/11/2014 09:44

My laptop is pretty knackered. Held together with Sellotape! Grin

TwoflowersLuggage · 18/11/2014 10:03

Morning all!
Did my weigh in this morning and I'm 0.1lb up on last week. I've had a rotten week in terms of stress and not much sleep so I think that may have had an effect as food-wise I've not been too bad. I was actually nearly 1lb lower earlier in the week.

Fabulous photo ready!

Pisseslikeahorse · 18/11/2014 10:05

Congratulations ready

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 18/11/2014 10:18

I went training last night. Did 3 1/2 hrs gently (ie there was rather a lot of rest and talking in that time and bursts of activity) grabbed tea from the local tescos. A proper treat dairylea triangles, and some ham slices. Grin I really do find it easier to make good choices when I am training.

Breakfast has been some alpro yoghurt and scrambled eggs and a coffee.
There needs to be more coffee if functioning is to happen.

I am thinking something like cauliflower mash for lunch. Tea is pork joint and veg. Nice to go visit mum and have tea sometimes. She does do some lovely nice food. And she is getting her head around me doing this woe. Nothing special being done other than her not cooking me potatoes and carrots and doing a few more of the other veg. And sticking the butter dish on the table. But that means a lot. iyswim.

May you all have fabulous days. Onwards and downwards.
