Eeeeek!

The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness is here along with The Weight Tracker

Here's to another good week.

Four weeks left, including this one, so chance to lose up to half a stone if you're really focused!

I'm glad to see that we're all thinking about Christmas and how we're going to deal with it. My own personal problem is that I find it too easy to let things slide - well, I've already had that, so I may as well have this as well - and before I know it, I've scarfed chocolates and eaten a sandwich and start to eye up the pasta as well ...

Other people are much easier to deal with than yourself! Grin

Anyway, I have one social event this week to negotiate, but other than that all should be manageable.

Hope you all have a good and successful week Flowers

Thanks BIWI Miffy and Bird.
I'm right at the top of healthy BMI (5ft 2, 9st 10). I'd like to be maximum 9st 5, preferably 9st. So not far to go.

Oh Bird can i have your cheesecake recipe please? DH loves cheesecake and i was thinking of doing that as our xmas day dessert. I have found a couple of recipes i have filed but would love yours too if you don't mind.

I would personally swerve puds/sweets altogether, but DH has got such a sweet tooth that if i give him nothing on this diet, he will just cheat horribly, so i reckon it's better to supply the odd LC treat made with sweetener than have him gorge on the alternative.

Hello all, can I come to the party late? I haven't commented because I started after you all but three weeks in and I've lost 9 pounds. I'm so pleased, got a long way to go (3 stone ish) but this is the first time in years when it seems easy! I've lost my cravings (mostly) missing wine a bit (but not as much as I thought)
The hardest part is the water, I've never been a big drinker and now I'm always on the loo.

Well done bird That's a fantastic loss. Hello Natural and welcome. I'm keeping a low profile but still watching and trying to keep on Grin

charlie that is a massive achievement not being derailed on you nights out. In my grand scheme of things, I tend to perhaps not be as super strict when out, so I tend not to worry about the type of veg, but try to avoid potatoes, rice, bread and pasta and deserts. I don't worry too much about dressing on a salad for example (unless very clearly sugwr based!), I am not fussed about pudding so have a peppermint tea, but if they have Panne cotta or a cheese board I might go for that on occasion. Ultimately once bootcamp is finished we keep on eating low carb, but probably not quite as strict all the time, and what each of us does is tries to find ehwt works for them in terms of maintaining weight, or continuing to lose slowly whilst still haing a life!

Just a quicky, 1lb on for me Sad either too much cheese or the coconut porrige so I'm having an eggy dairy free week to see what happens.

BIWI I made your spicy cauli rice, once I found a shop selling fennel, which the checkout girl picked up as if it was a grenade Grin followed by 'worisit?' fennel, wha? fennel resisting the urge to spell it out wotsoneathem?' I think I gave her 'the look' because she then rang for a supervisor who asked the same questions before I snapped its a vegetable, its 99p Grin Note to self perhaps its not a good idea to go shopping straight after dropping DD off for an early shift and before I've had a coffee but I did get a huge pork shoulder reduced from £7 to £2, I've froze 2/3 otherwise we'd be eating carnitas all week Grin

Anyway, I added some lardons and chucked in some leftover belly pork when it was done and it was delicious, a more than passable special fried rice, and even DH fussy bastard pinched some.

bitchy I've thought the same thing myself! Monday seems to be my heaviest day Grin

But as I started on Monday, I'll keep to Monday - otherwise I'm going to end up changing days every two minutes depending on my scales cooperation.

STS this week - bit disappointed as I don't think i have slipped up anywhere but the IVF meds are starting to ramp up now so maybe that is having an effect Hmm I start back on steroids tomorrow and have always put weight on while taking them before so who knows what will happen

Pisses sorry you're feeling unsupported Sad you have always struck me as being one of the ones that knows what you are doing so maybe people forget that everyone need a little encouragement at times! I can sympathise with your foot as I broke my toe last week so have hardly been able to walk let alone exercise

Charlie a stone in 6 weeks is brilliant! I'd echo MrsHPs post though, and relax things a little bit. After all, there's no point in going out if you're not going to enjoy it.

Pisses - sorry you don't feel supported. Sorry if you've been ignored in anyway.

And welcome Natural! Just prepare yourself for the weight loss to slow now.

The thread is either fast moving or really slow. There are loads of people who are going unanswered. It is not that we are trying to ignore posters. Sometimes, if i am honest, I have no idea what to put if I were to write personals. --i am also scared of mixing up people as i do this in real life and it often causes offence. It is also hard when you have something that restricts you in your ability to do stuff, especially if you are used to being busy. It is harder to maintain the upbeat way of thinking no matter how hard you try. I have not understood from reading you posts Pisses that you had felt ignored and had read from your posts that you were feeling postive and strong. But I will also happily admit that sometimes I struggle to understand the undertone to the words of posts. Is there any specific support you need or just pom poms, cheering and encouragement to stay strong?

I made a commitment to 10 weeks of strict bootcamp (to myself obvs) so that's why I have been so focused, but I took your advice and had a treat tonight, I made the almond sponge from the IPD cookbook and had a bit after dinner, not bad (might have some more for breakfast tomorrow). Smile

Hurray managed to get the weight to move downwards a bit. Happy to just keep on at it as I've got a very long way to go. Not helped by a stressful week though so I'm pleased to have lost. Ds (3) managed to break his arm badly and is now sporting a bright yellow plaster cast.

A bit up for me - about half a pound - I've had a helluva week, been making good food choices but have had way too much alcohol. I really appreciated your link to alcohol and its effect on weight loss BIWI. Am going to really concentrate for the next few weeks of bc and hopefully shift a few pounds before xmas. I have about 40 to shift in total.

Some very impressive losses so far Smile well done!!

Just marking my place as I haven't had a chance to read properly and I'm skiving right now, supposed to be tidying up. I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling supported Pisses, a couple of other seem to have had a similar issue. Maybe we need to make more use of the questions thread? So what's the damage to your foot Pisses? Is it something very serious or soft tissue damage. It must be very tough when you're so into your exercise and it's working well for you as well. If you're finding weight loss a bit slow then something that has worked for me is keeping a closer eye on my macros (5% carbs, 20% protein, 75% fat works best for me but you can probably up the carbs and protein seeing as you're exercising). I get the best results at 10-20g carbs with no dairy apart from butter but it's tricky to get enough fat in so I tend to need BPCs to get my macros 'in the zone'. HTH.

I can across this recipe on a friend's FB timeline - saw it and immediately thought Boot Camp Wink

I think people are wary of giving 'wrong' advice too.

I know I am - my understanding of the science behind it is verrr verrr wonky and tbh pisses iirc you've lost a tremendous amount of weight already. So I look up to you as someone who's 'doing it right'...and as such can't offer anything other than a hearty well done!

bigspotty well done on losing! And I hope your lads arm isn't to painful for him.

non I think my slower losses and ministall are directly related to alcohol. I think I'm going to abstain for the next week at least and see what impact that has.

Yay me! Lost 2 3/4lbs - now 13st 3 1/4

Had to go away for work and make the best of a buffet today and had bad news but, fortunately, it is not making me run to the biscuits.

Thanks all for the support.
