Eeek! I'm not stepping on the scales this morning, so will not be confessing all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Family wedding this weekend, and no control over food means I really don't want to see what number is on the scales!

Anyway, don't forget there's also the Weight Tracker

Here's to a successful week for all of us. Hopefully those who have seen things slow down/stop will see the scales begin to move again from now on.

Thats you added beyond you are just at the bottom, not alphabetically.

SayraT · 31/10/2014 10:39

I love seeing other peoples graphs and hearing about their alternative victories that indicate weight-loss.

Well done on the jeans MrsHP I was very pleased that I could wear my good suit trousers yesterday that I haven't fitted into for three years. I didn't even have to wear a tummy holder in device! Grin

I was also pleased last night at a Halloween party when I tried a chocolate brain and it tasted disgusting so I didn't eat any more. I even put my prizes back in the pile of sweets when no one was watching Smile

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 31/10/2014 10:41

Remember if you have been exercising you will have been building muscle which weighs more for less space. So you can stay the same weight, lose lots of fat but built muscle and thus be thinner.

I did wonder BIWI It is hard to be the inspirational leader that we are all pinning our hopes on if you are struggling yourself. Good luck with your mission and glad you got a nice holiday to look forwards too.

We had a big treat night. It was ds' request for tea. It was not as successful as he would have liked so can happily not do that again. It was a major reward for the therapy work ds has been doing. I now have an aspie who is looking at what causes him stress and him trying to alter his chosen activities to prevent unnecessary stress. it is a huge thing. Yes it was not great for me though. I will happily admit that. but he is only 9 yo.

I'd best go though, I have promise Minecraft time for homework and he has just presented me with home work.

MrsKoala · 31/10/2014 10:54

I am vain and don't care what i weigh, i just care what i look like. I measured my waist at 35in on 21st Oct and am seeing a slimmer silhouette so measured yesterday and it is now 34in and my belly is defo much flatter - so I don't care if i've put on a stone - the measurements going down is good enough for me! Grin

Can anyone tell me if the foul taste in the mouth goes after a while? I am waking up nauseous because of it i think. The thirst is also horrible. Been salting everything but still very thirsty.

Yesterday
b - yogurt & berries
snack - avocado
lunch - Mediterranean veg cooked in olive oil topped with tuna, capers, cheese and oregano
dinner - beef meatballs in a tomato, celery, shallot, carrot and mushroom sauce, cauli mash.

BeyondPreparedForHell · 31/10/2014 11:09

I've also found that as well as the thirst etc, my sweat really stinks. I'm not normally a sweaty smelly person and woke up thinking wtf is that, oh my god its me! Don't know if thats from this, but im guessing its a ketosis sign? Will google now :)

MrsKoala · 31/10/2014 11:20

haha! i thought the sweat thing was just me. i never usually need deodorant but have started using it this week. On weds i though 'wtf is that smell' and started sniffing things and realised it was me Blush

MrsKoala · 31/10/2014 11:21

i think my breath my also be rancid Blush

SixImpossible · 31/10/2014 11:51

MrsKkoala try drinking more water and eating more leafy greens.

MrsKoala · 31/10/2014 11:56

i drank 3l of water yesterday and 6 cups of mint tea. i'm not sure i can drink any more! Shock I'll try tho and have more greens. Thanks :)

StuntNun · 31/10/2014 12:14

Here's my graph for the last two years but I only started weighing in June 2013 which is why the first bit is flat. Unfortunately compressing over this time scale means the plateaus aren't as obvious. You can clearly see the effects of two summer holidays and one Christmas where there were small increases that had to be dealt with. Blush Effectively I lost the bulk of the weight (30 lb) between June and November to reach my initial target of 9.5 stone then pretty much maintained for a year. I did lose around another 6 lb this summer to reach my ultimate target of 9 stone (I'm 5'6"). I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant so that's why the graph goes up at the end! Grin

readyforno2 · 31/10/2014 14:30

No photos just yet I'm afraid.. Dp knows my username so just incase. Promise I will post after the wedding!

MrsHerculePoirot · 31/10/2014 15:17

stunt! Congratulations!!!! Did I miss that, or have you been quiet about it?

StuntNun · 31/10/2014 15:21

Just quiet about it MrsHP, my DH only told his parents a couple of days ago so it's been on the down low.

miffy49 · 31/10/2014 15:42

Great news Stunt. You can have a low carb babe!

HauntedChesterDrawers · 31/10/2014 16:22

Huge congratulations Stunt, that's lovely news. Is it your first, can I ask?

Loving the graphs everyone, really inspirational to see how you've all done over time.

And glad people liked my poem Grin, was a bit bored this morning as DS was up at 5 and I just started playing round and it kind of came to me.

HauntedChesterDrawers · 31/10/2014 16:32

Meant to post today's food too. Fridays are always difficult as I'm usually out with DS and non- LC food. So I've only just had 'lunch'.

B: scrambled eggs, butter, mushrooms
L: three oopsie rolls spread with butter
D: cottage pie with cauli or swede mash, depending on what I have in the fridge (CBA standing up to check)

StuntNun · 31/10/2014 16:47

It's my fourth Chester, I already have three boys aged 11, 8 and nearly 2. I'm trying to stick to low carb but the need to increase carb intake slightly in pregnancy is causing a lot of derailments. Still at least I know I can lose the weight again afterwards, I'll be signing up for the May bootcamp I think!

HauntedChesterDrawers · 31/10/2014 16:53

Wow, fourth, that's so lovely. We'd love a second so I'm hoping losing a bit of weight might help as I've still not lost what I gained first time round, almost four years on!

wooobatsandghouls · 31/10/2014 17:51

Hello Fourarms I wondered where you were hiding. Are you still on THD?

SixImpossible · 31/10/2014 18:25

14weeks? oh how exciting! Any morning sickness?

MrsHerculePoirot · 31/10/2014 18:45

stunt I was full of good intentions when pregnant last year, but it mostly went to pot as I was unable to control the carb cravings and the more I ate the hungrier I got and more quickly, so it was a viscous cycle. It did make me realise that I cannot control myself when I eat them, it was quite frightening really!

StuntNun · 31/10/2014 18:53

No morning sickness Six, I've been taking magnesium supplements as I had been very low carb (10g a day) for a while in the summer and they're supposed to prevent morning sickness if taken from before pregnancy. I guess it worked as all my other pregnancies I felt really ill for the first trimester.

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 31/10/2014 19:57

DH is away and I've done all the jobs so I can now catch up on the thread and hide from the trick or treaters!

Loving the graphs. I my weight's gone down tomorrow I might have the courage to post mine (I weigh on Saturdays).

Good luck with everything *Readyforno2". can't wait to see the photos!

Wow Stunt congratulations! Glad to hear the you're not feeling too bad. I wish I'd known about the magnesium trick before I had the DC, glad it worked for you.

I made a meatzza for dinner today and it was bloody lovely (Nigella's recipes with the oats left out). DS even liked it, after eyeing it suspiciously for 20min and finally putting a bit in his mouth. Now I have to resist the wine... Halloween Smile

RatherBeOnThePiste · 31/10/2014 20:04

I just want chocolate and sweeties, I realllllllly do

Confused

Lovely news Stunt. X Thanks

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 31/10/2014 20:13

Pistey No you don't. Deep breath and focus on the end point. You. CAN. do this!!!

Congrats stunt

Trick or treaters are stuffed here as the doorbell doesn't work Grin House is as much in darkness as possible.

I want vodka but there is a big trip into town tomo, it will be loud and busy and enough to make any idea or risking a slight headache and yuckiness not worth it. No vodka
