Welcome everyone! I'm starting the thread early because I have to be up and out of the house at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to enter your starting weight

If you don't want to put your weight on the public spreadsheet, you can enter it on the weight tracker. (This probably won't be available until tomorrow morning)

If you've joined up very recently, and your name isn't on the spreadsheet, just add it on at the bottom - the very lovely SayraT will re-alphabetize everything later.

Thanks pseudo will keep an eye on that - did have a dollop of Mayo with lunch. Been cooking in butter a lot in the evenings.
Feel so rough I am rooted to sofa which isn't ideal as am in charge of my two DCs.
Sorry to moan I am keeping the faith.
I have actually struggled with carb flu before so maybe I should have been more clued up on how to manage it.

Hobbes8 · 03/10/2014 16:50

A temptation day today, as I was out in Brighton with the family, so lots of fish n chip and ice cream places all along the beach, and we had lunch out which is tricky. But I think I did ok:

B: bacon, scrambled eggs, and mushrooms with a splash of cream
L: pizza express Caesar salad. I left the croutons and dough sticks but I did have the dressing, which was nice and creamy but I can't vouch for all the ingredients.
D: salmon with soy, ginger and chili cooked in sesame oil with some veg cooked in butter

Also, I ordered a cappuccino in pizza express thinking it would be better than a latte because it had less milk, then forgot that it would come with chocolate sprinkles -
Bah! It's this sort of thoughtlessness that will trip me up I think.

StuntNun · 03/10/2014 17:48

Hobbes Americano is the one to go for except I order a latte in Costa because their coffee is vile and you need the milk to disguise the taste.

Sorelip · 03/10/2014 17:58

Last night was a write-off. Back on it today with spinach and cauliflower cheese, and tea and coffee with cream. Not sure what I'll have dinner - maybe asparagus with butter and a couple of poached eggs.

Goldensunnydays81 · 03/10/2014 18:05

Having a rubbish day Hmm

B was ok I had left over moussaka
L steak and a salad

Then this is where it went slightly wrong in the fact that I was having a small hypo ( type 2 diabetes) but was going to a funeral so grabbed some haribo - about 10 to stop me fainting whilst I was at the funeral.

Was listening to the vicar in the church today and it answered the question BIWI asked yesterday as to why I thought I was having a wobble and it is fear I think, fear for some silly reason of being slim, fear that I am going to fail once again Confused
Sorry for the rambley message that probably doesn't make much sense!

Badvoc123 · 03/10/2014 18:09

I am also not doing very well :(
So busy this week and an upsetting day today.
Feel quite ill too...didn't sleep at all last night and had an awful headache.
Hoping for a better week next week.

ChesterDrawers · 03/10/2014 18:22

Sorry to hear some of you are struggling or not feeling great - keep on keeping on and you'll be fine Flowers.

Sorry to show off but I need to join Pistey for a Big Bloody Preen. Today I have NOT had a huge baguette, toasted tea cakes, actual cake, proper creamy ice cream and all manner of freebies in the supermarket. It wasn't even that hard, I just kept telling myself one bite and it would be game over, that's kind of the way I am.

My huge breakfast of three eggs, scrambled with lots of butter and a bit of cream, plus loads of mushrooms fried in more butter really filled me up. Was a bit peckish by about 4pm so bought two little snack packs of cheddar in the supermarket and ate about three quarters of a tub of olives when got home.

Another testing day tomorrow plus trying for a dry Friday for the first time in way too long...

Good luck tonight everyone - we can do it!

Badvoc123 · 03/10/2014 18:24

I think I struggle a bit be said I am allergic to cheese :)
Also don't really eat much meat :)
I have eaten more meat lately than I ever have and I am wondering if that's why I don't feel so well...

Notsoskinnyminny · 03/10/2014 18:32

Chester I'm trying for, correction I'm having a dry weekend as well. I've bought 1 bottle of wine for DH and told him I don't mind if he drinks it but I won't be and we're not having our grand prix treat of steak baguettes in front of the telly no-one's allowed to eat in the front room any other time and I don't care if he does sulk Grin

Ready well done, 6 stone is amazing

BestIsWest · 03/10/2014 18:45

Just to mention, most of the coffee chains will do an Americano with cream. I found that out on a. Previous bootcamp.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/10/2014 18:46

Preen away Chester, lovely thinking of setting up a Smug Club Grin Bastard cake still sitting on the table.

I absolutely agree with the Game Over idea, that's partly what I love about LC, the Rules. Takes me two days to get into ketosis, not worth slipping up.

But I would like a gin. Tis Friday and I'm YEARNING

MrsHerculePoirot · 03/10/2014 18:48

golden know what you mean (type II here too) about the fear of failing. Stick with it, my blood results were amazing since this woe.

B - bacon
L - goats cheese and beetroot salad
D - ribeye steak with courgettes
S - cheeses marmite melt, pork scratchings

Some of you were saying you havebeen up all night, or not slept well, that definitely slows my weightloss - when I go to bed early and sleep well the weight falls off mich more easily with me. Was up all night with both DC last night, am hoping for a better night tonight!!!

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 03/10/2014 18:53

scales not moving for me yet - but hanging in there.
I had a scrummy tea of sautéed courgettes, with chopped ham and chicken and a bit of double cream stirred through.

Off to trawl the threads now to plan next weeks meals and write my shopping list.

yongnian · 03/10/2014 19:16

My daily check in on bc lite (bfing)
B: scrambled egg with cream and butter, cooked in butter
L: leftover chicken peppers and spinach with fajita style sauce, ff yog and cucumber, guacamole and half an avocado.
D: Beefburger (local butchers one) with mozzarella and salad of little gem lettuce, vine toms and red pepper with garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
S: handful of mixed nuts and spoonful of Boursin
W:nearly 3 litres so far ( more to go)
E: none. Felt a bit carb fluey and had a full on day so had a rest day exercise-wise. Although my mad dash to get the whole house hoovered and tidied before visitors (including hefting the baby around with me) got me a sweat on.

On this note, I am randomly boiling today I notice - is this anything to do with carb flu or a sign of ketosis (she said hopefully)??? A lovely by-product of this WOE already is my skin is showing the benefits of all the water and I'm more than getting my five-a-day! Cool!!

Figrus · 03/10/2014 19:47

B: 2 rashers, mushroom, tomato, fried in butter
L: spinach, rocket scallion, caesar dressing with prawns
D: tuna melt
Snacks: 6 olives,maybe more later.

I am going to really miss my wine tonight:-(

CharlieSierra · 03/10/2014 20:16

Felt crap this afternoon, but better now.

B- mini frittata/muffins made in proscuttio lined muffin tin
L- left over cottage pie with cheesy cauliflower topping
D - chicken, veg, garlic, chilli fried in coconut oil with a bit of satay style sauce (spoonful of almond butter, dollop of coconut cream, fish sauce, squeeze of lime)

Not enough water!

ClashCityRocker · 03/10/2014 20:16

Finding the lack of Friday wine a bit annoying - I'm actually shocked by how much I'm craving it. It's making me think about my drinking habits in general.

So far, the no wine has been the hardest bit not hoping at all that BIWI is going to pop up and say 'oh have a glass of wine, you deserve it Grin

BestIsWest · 03/10/2014 20:17

I've been boiling today to. Don 't know if it means anything.

FolknNorah · 03/10/2014 20:20

Just running on to shout my shit! Grin

B BPC mozerella, few olives
D spinach and tuna melt (thanks BIWI)
T pork steak, cautious cheese, courgette chips.
On last litre of water now.

I had to navigate the perils of sixteenth birthday tea today.. Pizza and various other bread stuffs and cake. Shock
I won't lie. I almost face planted into the lot. But I didn't so that's a WIN!

Grin
BitchyTakesOnManagement · 03/10/2014 21:35

I am going to be a complete meanie and draw attention to BIWI's post from Wed 01-Oct-14 21:21:25 re cheating and reporting. Especially this: section...

*And something else to consider - from experience of other Bootcamp threads, where people have cheated and then come and posted in great detail about their cheats - please remember that this can be very triggering for some people, and it can make it much harder for them

Ultimately, if you cheat, the only person affected will be you. But if you post about it, other people may also be affected.

By all means post that it's happened, but please think very carefully before you post any details.*

MrsGuyMartin · 03/10/2014 22:30

Today has been pretty good! Although the scales have barely moved I'm feeling a lot better but I didn't manage my Friday evening run as I was home too late. So...

B1: total with cream
B2: boiled egg with Mayo and an avocado
L: huge salad with Caesar dressing, olives, Chinese pork belly
S: boiled egg with Mayo
T: trout and prawns with mushrooms, watercress, total and cream

Tea x2 black coffee x1
W: 3ltrs+ I always lose count at 3.

Hoping for a drop in the scales tomorrow but we'll see..

spamm · 03/10/2014 22:53

Hope you are all having a great Friday night. We are about to start - 5 hours behind most of you.

Anyway, scales were down 3lbs this morning for the week so far - that is just over 20lbs this year and 30lbs from my heaviest about 5 years ago! Very happy me, I am now at the same weight that I was before I had my DS 9 years ago. Still plenty to go, but another milestone! My clothes do not fit me, I am seriously going to have to buy new trousers, I look ridiculous in some of them.

Today:

B: scrambled eggs with cream and butter
L: salad with blue cheese, avocado, chicken
D: Korean chicken with cauliflower, probably
S: pork scratchings, iced green tea from Starbucks - my recent new addiction
Water - 2 ltrs so far

Keep it up everybody!

ClashCityRocker · 03/10/2014 23:08

Had a good night, kept busy, however I had gammon, mushrooms and cauliflower cheese at about nine and for the last half hour I've been feeling like I need to be sick.

I had eggs for breakfast and ham wrapped cheese for lunch.

Drank 2.5 litres, but will make 3 before bed.

I hope the gammon wasn't off. Got it from a butchers today, never had it from there before....

ChesterDrawers · 03/10/2014 23:15

Made it! Tucked up in bed and sober as a judge Grin

Night all!

BIWI · 04/10/2014 00:07

Reporting in late today. Awful day! Up at 5.20 to get to Heathrow for flight to Geneva, then on to Lausanne, for client meeting. But fog meant we were delayed by an hour, so we had to rearrange flights back - and return flight also delayed by 45 minutes. I walked through the door here at 11.15.

Had scrambled eggs and bacon at the airport for breakfast - no lunch because we were in transit! - and then dinner at the airport which was half good and half bad.

Absolutely knackered now.

Tomorrow:

Chinese class for two hours
Gym for an hour with trainer
Eyelash tint
Friends for dinner. No idea how/when I'm going to shop or cook!
